Smell Of Gas Worried About Baby

Yesterday I was on the bus and there was a strong smell of gas. I was on the bus for about 15 minutes. Could this affect my baby? I am 12 weeks pregnant.

I think you are fine. I mean, it's not good for anyone in general but I have never heard or read anything that said don't pump gas--and you smell it terrible when you are pumping it. I was afraid to pump gas when I first found out, not to mention the smell made me sicker than a dog. Perhpas your sense of smell is heightened...I would call your doctor. I am sure someone will read this and tell me I don't love my child and that I am careless...but I really think that they prepare us well, and I have not heard anything about the dangers of gas--think of the gas station attendents. I am not saying it's good, and I wouldn't do it again (if you can avoid it), but I don't think you should worry--mention it to others, but don't worry. Worrying is also not good...good luck.
