Hi, We are having a girl and the heartrate has always been around 155-160

My babys Heart rate was 160 at 12 weeks 3 days and i am having a boy.

Hi, we are having a boy- I am 22 weeks, 3 days along and today his hearbeat was 147 bpm. It has stayed in the 140's consistently throughout my pregnancy. Good Luck!!!

Sorry to throw a wrench into things but we found out we are having a little girl and her heartrate has been anywhere from 137-147 on the doppler. It was 154 when we when for our gender scan this past Monday. Good luck!!

Mine is in the 140's and it looks very probable we're having a boy. I am going back in to find out for sure, but judging from the ultrasound the doctor says it looks like a boy. My daughters was always in the 140's too.

we just found out on the 14th we're having a girl and her heartrate is pretty much always between 140 and 150, and usually it's on the higher end. it actually used to be up around 160, but it's starting to level off now. :)

Mine was 155 bpm in the 1st Tri and in the 140's now that I'm in the 2nd Tri, we are having a boy and my doctor said that it typically decreases a bit as the pregnancy progresses. Good luck to all!

Our 1st was around 140-155bmp. This time the rate has stayed between 148-155. We are at 20 weeks, both girls. Heartrate doesn't actually tell you anything as my sister-in-law's babies were all between 140-160 and they each have a girl and a boy.

i am having a boy. i found out at 16 weeks (last week). his heart rate, 162, has been the same since our 8 week sonogram .

i found out i am having a boy and his heart beat was 143bpm but when i had my very 1st scan done that was at 6wks and they had to do a internal scan to hear see the foetus cause of how small it was b___the heart beat was 173 you dont normally hear the beat untill 8 to 12 wks with internal scan it was possible .

Well we found out last week that it's a boy! Another boy...I will be the only female in the house since this is our last child. His heart rate was 154 so I have come to the conclusion that the heart rate doesn't mean anything :)

Congratulations BABY2JAN13 on the baby boy! I too just found out last week that I am having a boy! His heart rate at the 12 wk scan was 153 and at the 16 wk scan was 158. I really don't think you can determine s_x by this rate, I had thought I might have a girl with the HR we were getting! Best of luck to everyone and their little ones!

Babies heartrates go up and down constantly. I have a baby girl and when I was pregnant with her somtimes her hr would be low 120-130 or sometimes it would be high 150-170, it changes all the time so the s_x of your baby cannot be determined by heartrate...wait till later on in your pregnancy if you have to go for a non-stress test or when your in labour hooked up to the monitors and you will see your LO's heartrate go anywhere from 120-180, up and down constantly
