so I'm 13 weeks.. some books and one of my doctors says im in the second trimester... i always assumed it was week 14 you start the second trimester..
but my doctor tells me otherwise.. yet the midwife says that it is the 14th week.. what do you ladies think?

When you finish your 12th week you are starting with second trimester!

I see a midwife and I am 13w4d today and I was told that I started my 2nd trimester at the begining of this week

1-4 wks is 1 month......so 5&6 wks equal 1 1/2months. so 7&8 wks now will be 2 months. 9-12 wks is 3 months...... (2nd Trimester) 13-16 is 4 months. The first day of week 13 you would start your 2nd trimester. If you put it on paper into groups with a four week period..... It's a puzzle but we are due on the day we would be 10 months pregnant or 40 wks. Hope this helps!!! ~Steph

Oops came out wrong 2nd trimester is 13 + weeks. 13 wks is the 1st day of your 2nd trimester :)
