I had my 20 week ultrasound and in the office was a sign that read "do not ask tech about u/s results, your pract_tioner will discuss these with you." Well, I don't see my ob for another few weeks and I am wondering the following: how long for results and would someone call me if they had found a problem to be concerned about? Thanks for your input.

I would call your dr and see if you can get the results over the phone. I would think they would call if there was a problem but you never know. Good luck!!

The Doc. will call you if they see something wrong. But to make you feel better Just call your Doc. They will let you know anything you need....

The tech is not allowed to discuss result because s/he is not a doctor. I would not worry. But as everyone else said if you are worried then call your doctor but no callfrom your doctor is a good call.

That kinda sucks everytime I have had mine the doctor came in and told me the results right away but I tend to agree with everyone else your doctor will call you if there is any problems...and yes you can call them but most doctors do not like giving results over the phone
