WHEN DO YOU CREATE A GIFT REGSITRY

IAM ONLY 16 WEEKS, BUT AM WONDERING, WHEN SHOULD YOU CREATE YOUR BABY'S GIFT REGISTRY, FOR A SHOWER? IAM CLUELESS ABOUT THE SUBJECT AND CAN'T FIND ANY INFO. ON IT. THANKS, MANDEE

I did mine at around 20 weeks. People kept asking about it. Some of the items on the registry have already been fulfilled. You can always change items on your list. I update mine once a week. Sometimes items have been discontinued or new items are available. I've found that it has really helped me to organize putting together the nursery. Also, Babies R Us has a great checklist of what you'll need as a new parent.

I had been wondering the same thing . . .
I am excited to start doing it and I am only almost 14 weeks, so I will wait it out until 20!!

If you choose to do it early, make sure it's easy to change things if necessary. My husband and I registered early for out wedding, and by the time the date got close, nearly everything had been discontinued, and we had to delete the entire thing and start over. I don't know about baby things are. They may not change things as often, so moms out there who've done it, I'd be curious to know also.

I went when i was 18 weeks because i was so excited. Plus my best friend was down for the weekend (she lives 2hours away) so it was a perfect time for us to spend time together and not spend any money. :) although we wanted to buy out babies r us
