I am 23 weeks pregnant and I feel I have not gained too much weight. My tummy is not very big and I am concerned if I will have a small baby. My doctor says baby and I are doing absolutely fine. Should I be worried about baby's weight and can someone suggest eating tips to increase baby's weight at this time

When I was pregnant with my first child I only gained 14 pounds total. When I was about 20 weeks I had only gained 5 lbs at that time. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces. If your doctor said not to worry about it I wouldn't. Be happy that you are not gained tons of weight. I know some people that gained over 100 pounds being pregnant. I just think that everybody is different. So go by what the doctor is telling you and enjoy your pregnancy.

I will be 20 weeks pregnant on Dec. 12 and I have only gained 3 pounds, but was told that is fine by my doctor. As long as your doctor says it is fine, don't worry about it. A friend of mine only gained 10 lbs. throughout her entire pregnancy and didn't gain anything until she was 8 months pregnant. She had a perfectly healthy, normal baby boy. So you should be fine. Besides most people don't gain much until their last trimester which you still have a few more weeks before you will be there. Your last trimester doesn't start until you are 28 weeks. I'd bet you will start gaining more then.
