kolleen, I want one too but I'm thinking we have to wait till the end? When do you get the last u/s normally? Anyone here know? I'm pretty sure the doc said I get one more. TINA, I know I am a total fruitcake...I need to get off this preterm labor thing but I swear I just have been too freaked out by some of the other experience I've read about on here...Ok, this was weird today! Ava was super active this morning and then more quiet in the afternoon so I took a shower and then afterwards got the doppler out. Every time I put it on my belly she kicked it and then I started to feel bad and wondered if the sound waves from it could be hurting/bothering her? then I started to feel this little pulse type feeling down low on the right (near panty line) and I was having a hard time getting her heartbeat but I got what sounded like hiccups everytime the pulse feeling came I could hear it on the doppler! It was INSANE! I was really afraid I was getting her too worked up because then I was bound and determined to get a hb so I stopped for a sec then tried again and I found it for about 3 seconds and it was 167 which is higher than her normal rate. I'm finding it harder to get her h/b now than I did earlier in the pregnancy. I wonder if that is normal...

KENDRA- Just wanted to stop by and let you know, not to worry about your iron. I would consider changeing drs. You would not need a blood transfusion due to low iron. the only way that you would need one is post pregnancy if you became deathly anaemic, which is very rare because all cases of anaemic, especially in pregnancy are beyond easily taken care of. I was extreamly anaemic during my labor with Dante, due to my normal low iron. Iron without the suppliments I couldnt take was usually 5-8. 10 is normal not 13. I ended up with a blood transfusion with dante after surgery, but not from the low iron and low iron induced anaemia, but because of my extreamly hight blood pressure made me loose blood til I blacked out.. I aneamia was not a concern while I was in labor my bp was so they didnt even bother treating my aneamia/low iron til I was in post partom....Same thing with Zaiden, I was very aneamic right before surgery but they were by no means worried about it. That was a different hospital and different Dr.s. I Normally have low Iron. I just take daily suppliments. The only setbacks I have had from it, is that when it is low I cant donate blood. but a blood transfusion from it are VERY rare and unlikely especially with your iron being at 8. You are borderline normal iron.

durant- lol sry its 303* it use to be 302* per cla__s; then i had to write 303 since they just changed it; sry. not 3023 id die lmao. =] as for the blood transfusion it was due to iron & something else. my irons always low; always been around 8 or 9 never what its suppose to be at; i swear at my glouce testing with kelsey they told me being pregnant it needed to be around 13 or something; maybe im wrong that was over 2 years ago.but i swear thats what i was told. id never in my right mind change doctors; its not my doctors is the nurses that do it.

hello ladies= how is everyone doing??.. well me not to well. i was so excited that school went well; and things were finally working out for us then DH comes home tells me his boss told him yesterday that his job is being terminated; but they arent sure when? so im so irritated he works from 6-4 everyday (when does he have time too fill out applications anywhere else.?) im beyond p__sed im outraged. it would be okay if i wasn't losing 32 hours of OVERTIME a month; but now what im in school i lose that much overtime which would have been okay; considering the fact that i would be working but since im not its a big hint in our financials right now. why does this have to happen now? im beyond stressed im so irritated ive been grouchy and b___hy to everyone because i cant stand the thought of maybe not having enough money for things we need. =[ what the hell do i do now? if i quit my cla__s i don't get reimbursed so thats 340 dollars out the door; or i just continue my cla__s and hope things get better?. i dont know what to do someone help me. =[

kendra- im so sorry to hear that ur going thru that. i kinda understand. my dh didnt lose his job but when i stopped working it made such a huge difference. i felt and feel so guilty and selfish for going to school right now. i dont know how or when but this will all work out for u!! its gotta. its frustrating right now i know but the scarfices that u guys are making right now will pay off in the long run!! keep ur chin up =}
