STEF - that is my doctor's procedure if I call his office after hours the recording says for any emergencies if you are over 20 weeks go to L&D or else go to emergency. so check with your doctor next time you are in there and see their normal procedure then once they say that - do it even if it's going to emergency - we don't monitor til about 28 weeks - dude I can't believe we are getting to close to the third tri I am getting nervous cuz pennies have been tight and I need to get my crib and stuff but whatever - God will provide I have my co-sleeper bed I can use for a few months so I am not worried. All will be well......

with my first baby i had so many problems i was always in the hospital. everything from kidney shutting down to throwing nonstoop for five days. i was a wreck the dr told me to never get pregnant agian. FORGET THAT!!! but this time its like im expecting all of the problems. its mind over matter i guess. but the way my dr makes me feel sucks. i have to see a specialist. im high risk, and ive tried to see a different dr but im too far into it, so i have to stay with him. that why i dint call him yesterday when i got worried. he would have told me that it was fine. thats the last thing to tell a pregnant women. look, if i wanna hear my baby's heartbeat to put my self at ease then d__n it they better just do it. its my body and i know what it does. right??? i mean i know the dr see this and that all the time, but im not everyone else. im my own person who freaks out if i dont feel lylee move as much as normal. so just apease me and let me hear the heart beat for my self. WHOOOOOO!!! thamks i needed to get that off my chest!

Tina, I agree with you completely. Who cares what people think, you are the one who is worried so as long as you feel better - that's all that matters. I would much rather be wrong than to have something bad happen and just pa__s it off as nothing. Kolleen- thats horrible that your dr. isn't someone you feel comfortable with. I know that fact makes it even harder to open up to him about the things that are bothering you. Just ask me if you have a question and I'll call my doc & find out the answer for you!! Not much longer to deal with him though. Is he the one that will deliver? Stef - I've been wanting to ask you - What do you do for a job at home? (if you don't mind). Oh Yeah - my appt. went great yesterday, the hb was 154 and my belly is growing just as it should, so good news all around. I did find out after my 28 week appt. I will start going every 2 weeks. I remember someone asking about that awhile ago - so that's the scoop.

Heather, I'm a graphic designer for an ad agency and they are located in a different city. I love what I do anyways and am even luckier to get to do it from home. Kendra, I'll go check out the new pics...today seems a lot like yesterday, lol as it's just raining tons here and isn't very nice out. Guess it makes it easier to work though :)

stef- rain here too =[ blah we go from nasty snow to rain; although i might say im happy to see the snow finally melting =] that means closer to summer for our little ones to be here.

Good morning girls - STEF I was wondering the same myself I would have thought free lance journalist or something like that - how cool you get to work from home! Heather - so what did the doc say about your swelling cuz I know you said something right? LOL - in case you were all wondering Amy is ok just been busy - she will try to get on soon and check it - I sent her an email since she had been MIA so long....Kendra look at you girl - and STEF when I looked at your bump photo the other day - man you girls are really poking out there and are too cute! Friggin skinny broads (you too heather LOL) Kolleen - I may have missed something or not remember - is this your second baby? How old is your daughter? - if you already said sorry I can't remember...well my dogs are in the wake me up in the middle of the night phase and my 4 yr old is so scared all of a sudden....sheesh gotta get my sleep I need it.

i have a son, jakobb, he is eight years ols. but due to really bad choices i made when he was a baby, he lives with my mom. he has since he was 16 months. so even though ive had a child its like this is the first. as far as my dr goes, yeah i only have to deal with him for the time of pregnancy. he will deliver but he is not a pedeitrican. YAH!!!!!! he is a good dr but he is so busy in other areas too. hes not just an ob/gyn. he is a surgeon as well. so i understand why hes the way he is, but come on dude! LOL. im really sick of the rain here. i guess it could be a whole lot worst huh? im gonna put some new pix on piczo tonigh.t

Kolleen - well that's cool - hey we all have bad choices under our belts - no biggie - yeah I don't like when doctors are so cold - but you are a patient and you are going to need some attention not just tossed aside I totally understand

Thanks Tina - I don't know if "cute" would describe it, I hate not being able to see my girl down there!! lol. You gotta get a new bump photo up, I check in on ya everyday and still the same one. I did want to tell you that you look really good in that photo with the red shirt on - s_xy mama!!! Kendra - where did you find the paint scents at? I don't remember what you said and we are doing some painting soon I'd like to find them. I gotta check out your pics soon too. Stef - that sounds like an awesome job, I always loved designing stuff. I'm always messing around with printshop and other programs like it. Kolleen - Tina's right, we all have had times in our life that we wish were different - but we can't change the past. Sounds like you are making a good decision in starting over this time around :0)

heather i found them at Menard's thats the ONLY place here that carries them. if you wait in a couple days when i find the ones i have; ill get the name of the brand that makes them so i can try to see if u can order them off line ? or something who knows.. right

Heather - thanks - that was 2 Christmases ago - I will get a new bump photo up today since tomorrow I'll be 25 weeks -OH OH OH - I go to the 3rd tri board on April 2nd - I know we are all pretty close -who's next when is everyone's 27 week mark? My dh has to help me keep trimmed and attractive down yonder .... I can't see well enough to do it - he likes it though to contribute that way..LOL

Tina, I think you lead us over there (third tri)! You turn 27 weeks on a Wednesday (right?) and I turn on Friday, so 2 days later. I noticed the June moms are still over here on this forum!!! I'd have booked it to the 3rd tri ages ago if I were in that group, lol ;) We are an impatient bunch here though aren't we, lol! Still haven't had a minute to check piczo! agh! Kolleen, no worries on bad choices. I've been the queen of past bad choices, but I also would not change any of them because I learned from those mistakes and have a much better life now because of it all.

Hello Ladies i still have 3 weeks until i am 27 weeks :( but it will come fast im sure. I went to the doctor today all is good. We heard Alyssas heartbeat nice and strong :) They gave me my paper to go get my Glucose Testing done on Saturday... I cant eat nothing Saturday morning until it is done and i hate the taste of the stuff YUCK!!! But at least i will get it over with... Have any of you got your Glucose test done yet??
