ok i dont know where everyone lives, but where i live (portland or) you cant tell at all that its the first day of spring. its cold, raining, and kinda dark out today. so i guess it is spring for the northwest. LOL!!! im noticing that im more sleepy now than i was in the first tri. im at school right now, its quiet in the room, except for the people typing. its makng me wanna fall asleep right now. ive only got like 30 more min then i get to go out into the sideways rain walk almost 1/2 mile to my bus, get on with evertyone and their mother, then get back out in the rain, to go home. im not complaining really, i just wish that we could afford another car right now. my dh takes it to work cuz he works across the river, which would be like 3 buses each way. i only have to take one to go to school. but hopefully when the weather gets better he will be able to get me car. YAH!!!

tina- the only reason why i know is because my dr said something about it last visit. but its not concrete yet. hopefully it will be tomorrow. i have my mother-in-law that is comin from oklahoma and my sister from idaho, that way we can make plans for them.

hi girls, about to hit the sack, but wanted to come back and read real quick. Oh! I don't know if I mentioned it earlier but we have several consignment shops for maternity and kids clothes/stuff here and I got the cutest tops the other day. Basically for nothing. AMY, I love your pics and your boys are definitely cuties! I like the idea of the carousel theme very very much. There is so much you can do with that and it's gender neutral too. I so wish I could paint and do all that fun stuff! I'm going to go check out my registry, but I can bet noone's gotten anything yet, lol. Well I'm off to sleep and will be back in the a.m....

Listen to this!!! My MIL has been on this site reading the things I have been posting! I am so angry and feel so violated! I already can't hardly stand her and this just solidifies my feelings. How insecure does a person have to be to do something like this...Yeah Debbie, I'm talking about YOU! Here's another thing lady... It will NEVER be okay for you to smoke around MY CHILD! I don't give a flying #%&$ what you did when you were pregnant! The fact that your boys are just fine is debateable, John is a mess (john is my BIL). I canno't believe you did this. I don't think I can ever forgive you. You took and already rocky relationship and shattered the remanants. Nice going, think you have all the infor you were looking for yet? Ladies, see the c___p I have to deal with. I started coming to this forum as an outlet and now I feel like it is ruined for me. If I don't have all you ladies then what. I just hate the thought of her having access to all my thoughts and private conversations. I feel lost right now. I am sorry if I offended anyone, I know she will read this and I am hoping she never looks again. I told my husband and he was mortified and offered to speak to his mom about it, I told him not to, that I would handle it my way. My family is nothing like my in laws and I can't believe I am having to address this kind of issue. Okay, I'm done. What's happening with everyone else? I thought I read that some of you know you know your induction dates already. I'm going to be induced this time too. July 17th is the big day. I had a great experience with my daughter and I feel more secure bing induced. I like the controlled environment, and I am a huge planner.

Good Morning Everyone. So glad it's Friday, I am beat. Pregnancy is starting to take it's toll on me, I feel tired and very sluggish alot lately. I'm sure all the fluid I've got going on isn't helping me. Last night even my thighs were swelled up and my pajama pants were tight. I'm gonna call my Dr. today because I don't feel comfortable with this. I'm really kinda getting worried. Hope you all have a good Friday :)

hey ladies. sorry so long no speak. =[ had alot of things going on here; not all good either. but ill keep personal life & other things to myself while im on this thread thats for sure; everyone trys to use c___p against me all the time. so i just decide to not speak of my life on here. WELL i can say strad has been moving & grooving like a little tumble weed its crazy. im getting so big. so at my 24 week appt they said i measured 28 weeks.(1 month a head) which is what they told me at my 20 week appointment was from his neck to his privates he was measuring only 19 weeks (but weight was as much as a 24 week baby) so we are watching it if it keeps going this way they are speaking of inducing early to mid june( im kind of disappointed in that; meaning id love for my strads to have the same b day (strads is late june the 22nd to be exact.) but we are still looking into it.

Kendra - Hey girl! Glad to hear from you. :) I hope everything is going okay with baby Strad. Dr's don't always know everything either..... your baby may be just growing a little different. Hey! TGIF....kendra, did you get an u/s at your 24 week appt. or did they just measure your belly? The dr. didn't tell me anything about my measurements (just tape measure) or weight, etc. Just said it all looked good. I'm dying for another u/s but know that won't happen unless I have a problem (whoa, don't need any of that) or I go and pay for like a 3D or something. MANDI, I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this with your MIL...I would FREAK if I knew anyone I knew was reading in on my personal thoughts especially with pregnancy which is a very personal thing. It's just weird and feels like a violation of some type. I have a friend on another thread who's MIL did the same thing for a while and what's funny is the common thread between you two. You both have crazy mother in laws, lol ;) You are free to raise your baby as you choose. I also worry about all kinds of family stuff because my boyfriends side of the family has lots of smokers who don't care if they do it around kids or not (I've heard the same thing--oh, I smoked with all my pregnancies and they are all fine --LOL, I beg to differ!!! Seriously the kids are all whacked). Anyways, stick to your guns and just try to ignore it the best you can. HEATHER, so the swelling is still hanging around? This may just be something you have to live with the rest of the pregnancy...one of my best friends had terrible swelling and it got so bad at the end that she was nearly bed rested. Her baby was totally fine though, she just was a water retainer I guess. I looked in my book and it doesn't say much about regular swelling , but says talks about swelling in pre-eclampsia and with hypertension. You dr. has ruled those things out, right?

Oh, almost forgot...Tina, I'm not sure about the induction. Basically she needs to do that because I'm on blood thinner shots and she wants me to stop them 24 hrs prior to labor so that means she has to plan it and do an induction. At first (20 week app) she said 1-2 weeks early meaning between june 20-27, but at my last appt. this week she said No, 2 weeks is too early but probably a week is what we'll do. She said she won't make a decision until the end when she examines me and sees my cervix. I also wonder if it will make a difference on size of baby and stuff too. I just have a strong feeling it won't be in July though. I wish I had an exact date and I kind of was pressing her for that (just because everyone always wants to know the due date) and she seemed like there is no telling...

Good morning ladies! Stefkay, thank you. This morning I was starting to think that maybe I was overreacting. Now I know I'm not. I feel so violated and I can't believe all of this. Anyway, on of the ladies on the boards lives near me and I am off to meet her this morning, we got together the week before my MIL came and she is really a nice person.

Mandi - sheesh - I am so sorry about what happened with your mother in law - I also suffer from a horrible Monster-in-Law relationship and I would die if she ever got on here - what a violation I am so sorry I had a situation recently which has made our relationship strained again and it could be so much more improved if she could just keep her mouth and opinions under control -first of all she has borne no children of her own which is why I understand some of her concern when I am pregnant but good grief - ok last sunday we went to their house for corn beef and cabbage and my girlfriend brought over an excellent bottle of red wine so I poured myself a gla__s (4-6 oz) I sip it with my meal and the end of the meal I extend the olive branch and go sit by her so she can feel the baby move then that b___h has the nerve to say - so Dr. Rivera has cleared you to drink? I said (just to be a b___h back) actually no he said no amount is safe but it's my body and baby so I guess I'll just take my chances.....my dh almost choked on his beer and then said - MOM - DROP IT!! my parents sat there neither one speaking up for me I was so p__sed- then she said well I just don't know why you would take that chance - I said you know FAS is usually brought on by alcoholic women binge drinking during their whole pregnancy - why don't you get off my back for a gla__s or 2 during my 2nd or 3rd trimester.....then I was like boys - it's getting late time to go - my husband just glared at her and told her to stop being ridiculous and to mind her own business - so that's how we left - I know that drinking during pregnancy is a hot topic and many might agree with her point of view - I do not believe that one little gla__s of red wine is going to hurt my little one and since she never birthed kids (which if she did it would have been during the era when women drank and smoked) then she would have had to shut up - she acted like I drank a whole bottle! ARRGGGHH and she is so dramatic it makes me sick - so I thought about finding something that looks like champagne - like sprite or apple cider and make her think I am really knocking them back the witch! ok done venting about that.....Heather- yes call your doc if you are getting concerned - avoid caffeine since that can aggravate swelling...you might have to really watch labels on your food about sodium - no canned veggies they are pretty bad frozen have a lot less sodium - umm that's all I can think of - STEF that is so awesome that you found some cute tops....yeah I found out the day before my induction with my first it was my last appt I had reached 40 weeks and my parents were visiting and he said ok come in tonight at midnight and we'll induce you - I was like whoa but I didn't want my parents to leave it was great and since I was 40 weeks with HUGE hemorrhoids he didnt' see an issue - yeah at first my doctor said it would be 38 or 39 weeks but I bet he's is leaning towards 39 weeks which is fine with me and this time I really want to be induced because my mom will be comin from Alabama this time and I just don't want her to miss my birth she was there for the other 2 and I know it's not that big of a deal and that lots of women deliver without their parents there but I really want her to be there...I dont' like anyone to know what site we are on cuz I don't want them nosing around ie my best friend she asked me for the site once and I never gave it to her if she found it and started snooping and I found out I am not sure I could ever forgive that either - I pretty much share everything with her so there is no need for her to come on here. this is my thing that I don't have to share with anyone it's a great way for us all to vent - KENDRA - sorry to hear you have some stuff going on - did you start your CNA program yet? Girl I tell you I have never seen a little girl look so much like her daddy as Kelsey and Strad - that is crazy but your bump OMG - getting big but looking cute you skinny broad! LOL Kolleen -you will be rewarded for your sacrifices look to the main goal and stay focused and before you know it you will be behing the wheel - wow sorry this is so long i slept great and I have all kinds of energy this morning! Hey all you induction Gals! Am I the only one who will be left hanging - waiting for spontaneous water breaking? lol. I admit, it is kinda neat so you can plan ahead for loved ones & family to be there with you. Tina - The way I see it, a gla__s of wine is perfectly okay. It would be a different story if you guys were doing shots or bonging beers - Ya know?!! Some people just always have something to say no matter what the situation. It's cool that your husband spoke up for you though, that's true love. I have made myself a Kahlua' & milk twice - very weak - but just enough to get the craving out of the way. I dare anyone to tell me any different because I am a grown woman and wouldn't do something if I honestly thought I was hurting my child. BTW - loved the HUGE hemorrhoids part - so much to look forward to. LMAO. Stef - I'm sure you dr. will evaluate the situation when you get a little closer to the end and let you know a more exact time. I laugh because I can just see you now asking the doc a thousand questions in a round-about way to get an exact answer! You are so funny when it comes to worrying because you are the Best! I don't know if I will get a chance to get back on before I get off work - so - HAPPY EASTER everybody. Have a great weekend - talk to you all Monday.

Real Quick - my BP was 130/90 today. From what I've read it is considered high at 140/90. What do you guys think? Is it going to continue to go up the farther along I get? I'm just wondering if this has anything to do with the swelling.

Heather I think the swelling is only a part of the blood pressure thing - you may just retain water ...LOL glad you liked my huge hemmorhoids comment - dude itwas awful eat lots of fruits and veggies and you won't have to worry - I might get me some prunes I can eat daily to keep regular! HEY LADIES!! I GOT SOME NEWS MY OTHERS SISTER IN LAW IS PREGGO 2!! .. SHE JUST TESTED BECAUSE SHE WAS WORRIED THAT SHE HASNT HAD HER PERIOD.. AND SINCE SHE SPENT THE WHOLE YR TRYING TO CONSIEVE SHE DIDNT WANT TO OVERWELM HERSELF .. BUT SHE IS 23 WEEKS!! IM JUS SO EXCITED I DONT KNOW WHO ELSE TO SHARE MY JOY WITH!! SHE HASNT TOLD ANYONE BUT ME AND HER SISTER.. SO THERE ARE 3 OF US.. 1ST ONE IS MY YOUNGER SISTER IN LAW THATS 28 WEEKS.. ME.. 24 WEEKS.. AND MY OTHER SNL..23 WEEKS! THATS JUST CRAZY!!
