Hillary, heather listed some great sources of iron. I really like hardboiled eggs so I ate like 2 a day for a while (till I got sick of them) and now it's broccoli, so maybe squeezing in some things like that would help! KENDRA, so awesome about school! I'm really happy for you and you seem totally motivated--I think it will be really natural and easy for you! MANDI, that's cool about the thread...no worries! I just realized a long time ago that if you have to ask someone for an apology you probably aren't gonna get anything more from them than a defensive att_tude. I can't say as I haven't read much of the thread. I just remember some earlier stuff posted here to her and it just got nasty and petty all around. Well, I am tired (WHAT'S NEW? lol) my best friend and I ran to a few stores to find invites for my baby shower she is throwing and finally got some. I got back here and was slammed with work. We are going to work on the invites Wednesday I think. I'm getting excited :)))

KENDRA- thats great ur going to scholl for cna. i dont know how u do it though. i go to school 5 days a week for four hours a day. im stoping in june cuz the two cla__ses that i have to take then are the hardest cla__ses of all. very stressful, so i decided to take those off. ill pick them back up in sept.

Kolleen - I haven't noticed too much movement in the shower, but I do notice it lots of other times - like when Tom & I lay down at nite to watch T.V. I always tell him that the baby likes when we are close. I bet the baby does feel the water coming down and hitting her - that's so cute. Stef - I bet you are real excited about the shower, it will be here before you know it. Mine isn't going to be a surprise either, and I kinda like that I can help plan it. Are you going with a theme?

kolleen_caudillo - March 24

KENDRA- im excited cuz ive done really good in school. i never graduated and its been a long time since ive been in school. but i have taken three cla__ses so far and ive gotten a's all the way thru. im not in cna cla__s, but its still the medical field. so i find it diffucult. but my hats off to you girly lol

Good afternoon ladies! HEATHER - now it makes sense how you are on so ealry! that's 4am here --crazy! STEF - that's great about your baby shower coming up...I think I am going to have mine early well before the baby instead of waiting I guess my mom wants to buy me some stuff so she wants me to have a shower?? whatever I am tired of hearing about it -I think I am going to tell my mom and friend - whatever you guys want just tell me when to show up! LOL I registered for some stuff on walmart and target - I only have a few things on it but hey it's the stuff I really need and I sure loved picking out all of the pink stuff........Hillary maybe you could call your doctor to see if you should take an iron supplement but then you need like lots of fiber so man that stinks - I like boiled eggs..... I didn't have one boiled egg yesterday I can't believe it KENDRA - you had better be d__n proud of yourself cuz I think you are kicking b___t! Kolleen that is funny about the dancing in the shower baby....

Both you girls keep it up and never give up on this!!!! It will pay off so much when you are done. I'm so so glad I went to school and finished now...i didn't feel that way while I was doing it though, lol ;) Kendra, nope I'm not really having a theme really, just going to have a lot of pink I'm sure and then some basic decorations (a banner, some balloons, streamers, etc) and then my friend is taking care of food, games, invites stuff like that. I've never done this before so it's kind of fun for me. I'm kind of put off though by some family members who seem kind of reluctant to get stuff on the registry. It's hard to explain but I've come across some people who seem to act like I'm being "high maintenance" or something because I've picked out new things (and not even all that expensive, it's Target for crying out loud!) for my registry and they seem set on giving me hand me downs and thrift store stuff. I'm feeling really guilty about that bugging me, but my mom told me not to and that I deserve to at least ask for the new stuff and if I don't get it then I'll go get what I need used if I have to. I'm not too proud for that, this is just my first and I'd like to be spoiled I guess, lol! :) ah well.....

cors1wfe - March 24

STEF - don't feel one bit guilty - the ONLY reason I am going to garage sale route this time is because this is my third baby and there will not be a fourth - you may not be done having babies and should have new stuff that you know will last - you are NOT high maintenance for wanting nice new things....shake it off girl .....you should get what you want - my monster is law is like that......thinking no one needs new stuff - well when you grow up 1 of 12 who the hell could afford anything new?? LOL

kolleen_caudillo - March 24

stef- hey if u dont get everything u want off ur registry from target u get i think its 20% off whats left to buy. so thats a good thing. i registared at target, but for things i need. i did it so i know what i want. so its more or less for my memory then anything. people dont like to go to my reg to buy gifts. i did it for my wedding and it didnt go over very well. but oh well its not like i can put anything anywhere anyways. lol... lota of pink stuff thats what i want. lots of pink and green. my wedding was done inthose colors too. i love them. like the black hills gold colors.

kolleen_caudillo - March 24

What day are we moving? i think its april 2nd but i wanna make sure. i dont wanna get left behind. ill be sitting over here all by my self trying to figure out why noone is talking any more. that would be kinda funny huh??

Good Morning ladies :) Tina - OMG, you must have thought I had no life, or was nuts being on here that early! lmao. That's so funny, I guess you are like 3 hours behind me - you live in CA. right? I went to Hawaii a couple years ago and I had the hardest time getting used to the time change. It would be like 9pm and I was ready for bed because it was 1am at home! Stef, I don't think it's horrible at all to want new things - I would like to have alot of new things too - but if we don't get them it isn't like we would throw a fit! Seriously - when it's your first it's always different, and if you're like me - I count on my other friends who have already had babies to help me with the things I need but might not think of. I would be happy with anything - new or not. Kolleen - pink & green sound beautiful together, and I have also found that alot of people won't shop off a registry. They want to buy you what they want and that's fine because (not to be rude) - but you can always return or exchange something if you really don't want it or need it. Kendra - Keep it up babe, alot of people never even make it to take their GED's, because it is scary to go back to school. You will find out that there are alot of people just like you in your cla__ses - they have a home life and a school life, so that always helps!

kendra.marie - March 25

tina- thanks babe =] stef- im totally agreeing with the other ladies; this is my second & wont be my final if i can help it lmao. but the thing is your first is ALWAYS spoiled no doubt about it. the fact that im having a boy this time around lets me spoil him up also; hehe. but the next & 3rd baby wont be to spoiled because last i checked there were only 2 s_xes we could have; if by the time i have a 3rd and there becomes a 3rd s_x & i get it then baby will be spoiled but the chances of that happen are like the chances of us winning the lotto.lol. heather- thanks also. althought it might not seem it it means alot for your suppport to me; even though we arent like family or really close friends; its like weve all made this bond & im going to be so upset when we have babies and dont talk like this anymore. new photos on myspace (yah) will be on piczo shortly; might not be until after cla__s which will be around 2 pm my time. well love ladies & have a great day until i check in again

QueenBeeMama - March 25

KENDRA - We all feel your excitement & pride! It can't be easy but it's always impressive to see someone rise to a challenge! Good for you! STEF - Don't worry sweetie. Some people love to shop off a registry bc it they don't have to think about what to get you, or what size or what color, etc., and they know they are getting you something you'll like/use. Other people just like to get what they want the baby to have, or they want to pick out an heirloom, or pa__s something to you they loved. It's all okay, and there is NOTHING wrong with wanting new things, or things you picked out for your baby. Let those att_tudes roll right off your back, feel no guilt, you will get so much advice, judgement, comments, and opinions as a new parent, wow! I don't envy you, I remember what it was like, I STILL get it now & then, from family or friends or even strangers. "You're letting him wear that?" "Is that all he's going to eat?" "I feel the only way to help my child succeed at life is to get him the best tutors/ coaches/ teachers, etc. Anyone who loves their child would do the same." Blah, blah, blah. Oh, it's so much fun how everyone loves to tell you the best way, according to them, to live YOUR life and raise YOUR family. Let it roll off your back....all the way down to the ground and then step on it. Hard. LOL. No one way is the best and only way. Life is tough enough, do what you want when you can and what works for you when it's working.

stefkay - March 25

Amy, Kendra, Heather, Tina and Kolleen thank you girls so much!!! That is why I love our group here...I feel al ot better and know I've got that guilt complex thing going and there is no reason for it :) I know it will all work out and I need to stop worrying about the little things that are in the future anyways. KOLLEEN, we are going to move April 2nd I think! Or April 3rd...I don't think it matters as I see the October girls are already coming over here! WOW, can you believe it? I remember thinking July was soooo far away and now it's getting closer and closer. Oh, I'm also doing the nursery in pink and green! I love the colors together. I also like brown with it...pink green and brown (or pink and brown is cute too). Well, lots to do today and it's sunny so I'm going to TRY to get outside, lol. I am paler than pale. I don't want to tan really but once it gets warm I seriously need some color. Being blonde and pale is scary.
