Hiya Cookie. How are you and your little "bug"?

wow I started reading the other postings without realizing there were so many. I am due Sept. 20th just looking to talk to other moms out there to keep my sanity!! My friends are all party animals and don't understand the least bit of anything when it comes to being pregnant.

Hello Cookie! Hope all is going well with you... I'm doing good. I seem to have finally popped, and my son has my belly popping out! I think that's the only place I'm gaining.. so that's good! It seems like now that everyone is getting settled into their pregnancy's there's not as much talk on here :( I hope everyone stops in with updates soon! take care!

hi girls, Renea, its so funny I'm finally starting to look pregnant too...my daughter is so cute, she now says baby and points to my belly, then she says hi baby...she is turning 17 months on sunday, I can't believe how fast this is all going..are any of you having bad indigestion? It seems like everything i'm eating haunts me for hours...

Hi Girls! Hope everyone is doing good! I am doing good, I am starting to "pop" out too! Our baby boy is growing quickly! I'm like you Renae I seem to be gaining just in my stomach. And Cookie I so know what you mean, I swear the heartburn may be the end of me!!!

Hi girls, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Morther's day...i'm sure your little ones will kick you as a thanks for all the sacrifices your making for them now, and in the future :-)) As for me, I have my 2nd detailed scan on Monday so hopefully we will confirm the s_x of the baby, and get the picture of the spine...it will be a long day for me, I have my midwife's appt in our town at 9 (our town is about 1/2 an hour away) then drive 21/2 hours to the big city for our u/s scan...will update you as soon as I have some more information :)

Hiya, Just got back from my ultrasound, and we're having a girl...well at least we didn't see any boy parts...we're happy, I had thought we might be having a boy, but a girl will be so much easier, since we already have a little daughter we have all the clothes, toys, etc. and they will likely have to share a room for a little while, as we will need to see our house (2 bedroom) and buy a larger one...my midwife's appt went good as well, baby is measuring fine, and heartbeat is strong...hope everyone else is doing well...

Hi all, congrats cookie on the girl and glad everything is good. I dont know if any of you other ladies are feeling uncomfortable yet, I am so uncomfortable sleeping already and I am not that big. My tummy is definately sticking out but I am getting worried about how big I am gonna get and how little sleep I am gonna end up getting. I cant seem to find a nice position to lay, I have a pillow that I lean on and still that doesnt work. Any ideas. Anything would be great..

K8, I know what you mean...i'm not big yet either, but it is getting so hard to sleep...with my first pregnancy I was ok until right near the end..but this time if I roll on my back I wake up suddenly not able to breath...I have just made a pillow fortress...with a pillow between my legs, and a couple on my back...my poor husband is stuck on the otherside of mount everest...lol...one thing I found that helps me...it's my dh's family recipe, but a warm cup of milk with honey...sends me off to sleep every time...in fact, i'm hoping to sweet talk him into making me one tonight :-)) good luck

it's been quiet here this week...thought I would check in...I had the weirdest dream last night..I dreamt I gave birth to a kitten, and when people came to see the baby they all asked where it was...it was horrible...also had some sad news from a good friend of mine (actually we met on the PI site 3 years ago when we first found out we were pregnant)...she tested positive on a home pregnancy test last week...but started bleeding soon after, so it appears she had a miscarrige...so sad...oh well...hope you ladies are doing good..Renae are you all done with your nursery? I still haven't gotten anything, although I did sort through the clothes I brought from home..I forgot how tiny newborns are...Mackenzie was in premie clothes b/c she was so small...none of the newborn clothes fit..lol..

Hi Cookie! My nursery is mostly finished, my son has a ton of newborn clothes!!! (probaby too many!) At last count I think I was up to 31 (?) onsies! lol! I had a doctors appt today, and all is going well, but I gained 5 lbs! (up to 7lbs 4ounces now) I'm getting uncomfortable...my back aches, I have trouble being comfortable, and with my boyfriend never wanting to be around me and offering no support, i feel depressed alot!!! (Sorry, having a rough night I suppose) It sucks going thru this alone... still can't even settle on a name for my little guy... btw, my son seems to be doing gymnastics...he's gotten very active!!! I spent 1/2 a day in the hospital last week (I was having contractions at work) I'm fine now, other then the day after the hospital I broke my toe! Guess I'm just a mess at the moment! At any rate I hope everything is great with you and baby! Have a great holiday weekend!!! (am I'm sure you will have everything you need to, in perfect time! :)

Hi all.. I havn't been on for a few days. Had some days off work am starting to get completely exhausted already!!! We started our "nursery" feels weird saying that haha, looks awesome, I am getting so excited. We painted it a gorgeous light purple colour, I wanted to steer away from pink.. Things are starting to all come along nicely and my boyfriend is starting to get more and more excited also. I was feeling so miserable in there for a while but now I am starting to feel happy and trying to enjoy being pregnant... I am still not sleeping very well but just trying to keep happy while trying to keep myself awake. My belly is definately sticking out and she loves to kick, my mum actually got to feel her kick today she was stoked. Hope all is well with everyone and things go well... :-)

hi girls, Renae, sorry to hear that your bf isn't being so supportive...it sometimes seems like they just don't understand what we are going through...my dh is generally pretty good, but there are certainly times when I wish he would step up to the plate a bit more (especially around the house)...sorry to hear about your toe...that sounds so painful...did they give you anything to stop your contractions? That sounds pretty scary...but sounds good your little man is doing well....I can't believe you have only gained 7 pounds..wow...i'm at about 14 pounds so far...which makes me pretty happy b/c with my first I had gained about 24 pounds by this stage...K8mc, i'm the same way with colors...my daughter's nursary is all yellows, soft greens, and tans...it's the cla__sic pooh collection from babysrus...so all of the stuff we had got her was in the tans and neutrals...but now she has so much pink...from everyone else..lol...how are you feeling? My indigestion is killing me...I just ate some beef stew dh made today.. and now i'm regretting it...w/ my daughter my heartburn was so bad during my 2nd trimester that I was down to baked potatoes and chicken soup...Keep Smiling :-))

so anyone else's baby getting really active? Mackayla, is such a wiggleworm at the moment, everytime I sit down she is so active...its funny to watch...dh and I went to see Indiana Jones yesterday and she kicked and bumped the whole movie...also my indigestion is so bad at the moment it's killing me...hope you are all doing well ...

Cookie, that sounds really nice, I think it is good people steer away from the typical pinks and that for a girl.. I am going to add some stencils and that soon to make the room a little more special. My other half is an amazing drawer so am trying to convince him to draw something on the wall for out little one.. I am feeling pretty good for the most part. The only thing I am having trouble with is sleeping and my back is starting to hurt, I cant seem to sit in certain positions without a pillow.. I havent really had any indegetion yet which is good for me I guess.. Mackayla? is that the name you have picked for you bubs? I cannot think of a name, its really hard. I dont want to give her something that we or her is going to regret later in life.. I have a couple of names I like, Isabella is a fav and my other half loves the name tarme.. So I dont know.. Went for my doc app yesterday and he told me that I shouldnt really put on anymore weight, I put on 5 kgs this last month, which kinda surprised me.. But yeah so he had advised I cut down on certain things.. Anyone else had that? And yes my baby is certainly active, its like she doesnt stop sometimes.. I sit at my desk at work and its like she is helping me type sometimes haha, she is kicking that hard.. Its so amazing, I cant wait to meet her, I really cant.!!!!!! Only 3 months to go, its gone so so quick...!! :-)
