Hi Ladies! Mind if I join you? I am due with my second on September 6th. Considering my period, we thought it was due in October at first, but *no*, ultrasound confirmed that we were a month off. How strange is that? It was kind of nice, because all of the sudden my first trimester was one month shorter. This pregnancy is so much better than the last. Not much nausea, some fatigue, but since I found out I was anemic, that was fixed with iron supplements.
I can't wait to find out the s_x. Last one was a girl (two years old now). Does the easier pregnancy mean a boy this time? Or is it because I have been exercising?

Hi Cookie, thanks for the reply... my pregnancy is going ok, some issues... I have fibromyalgia and was on lots of meds, so have two offices working together so the baby is ok... they had me on max daily percocet...plus three other meds, now I'm on percocet only, which should be safe for the baby...also there was a fear of withdrawel for me to just go off of them, fear of loosing baby if I tried to stop them... sucks, all that and my babies father, whom I've been dating for 4 years off and on went from we were going to try to move in together before the baby was born to telling me it just doesn't feel right to him... but still tries to sleep with me...again sucky. Lets just say at 37, with my youngest nearly 13, and starting over on my own SUCKS, and makes me very sad for myself but mostly for the baby. I know it's worth whatever I go thru, but I feel so horrid that the baby won't ever know mommy and daddy together or have the real family it deserves... at any rate.. hope you're not sorry you asked! :) oh, I also have had trouble sleeping soundly without waking up, almost like my body is adjusting to knowing that I will be needing to wake up every few hours or maybe just stress or from being bumbed.

Amy, I don't think it's too soon to buy stuff, I've started buying stuff too! It's hard not too, and why not give yourself as much time as you can to spread out the costs! I've picked out a cute b___terfly (lavender) theme for a girl, and am torn between two themes for a boy! Your crib sounds adorable!

So im 15w3d now and have my next appt next week. do you think they might give me a 3d u/s or is it too early? Im still not showing yet either, although Im really bloated. This is my first preg (well 2nd, but i had a miscarriage at 11 weeks last time) so I dont know all the time frames, but when should i have an obvious baby bump?

Elizhope, I had a 3D ultrasound yesterday at 11 weeks during the nuchal translucency. Didn't expect the 3D pictures and I must say, they are freaky. Very weird to me. It's almost like you see too much and there'sa all these weird bumps on them, I thought there were serious abnormalitiles or soemthing. Because of the stage they're in, the doctor said that's what babies look like. That was rea__suring!

grr...I just wrote a long blog, addressing everyone personally, and the stupid thing crashed...sorry ladies...the first blog was much longer..lol...welcome to all the new ladies, hope everyone is doing well...I just went for my nuchel exam in Glasgow on monday...my little "darling" did not want to perform for the camera..lol...the tech had my wiggling on the table to get the baby to move, and then I had to walk around for 20 minutes and bounce..lol..we did finally get a few shots..but what amazed me was to see both perfect little feet (little footprints)..and a little hand waving, then the baby started sucking its thumb...its so weird because i'm not showing at all, and yet there is this little person inside me..(in fact it just kicked me to remind me its in there..lol)...also my sickness seems to be going finally (I hope)...but still pretty tired...(could be the 14 hour day I just pulled)...i'm working until I have the baby..and fortunatly for me here in the UK, they have a national health care system so its free...(i'm still paying my daughter off in the states)
