Anyone Have Premature Heart Contractions

Hi everyone, For the past 3 weeks or so I have been getting chest pain along with my heart racing a few times a day. Sometimes its mild but other times I actually have to sit down. I've been tracking my pulse and it increases pretty substaintally during these episodes. My primary said I have premature contractions that are dangerous. I haven;t found any where that says it is pregnancy related. Anyone with a similar situation?

Sorry, I meant to say the heart contractions aren't dangerous (my 2 year was screaming while I was writing). My concern is that they get worse as I get larger. I am currently 25 weeks and know my heart will have to work even arhder in the weekks ahead. But, my primary doesn't seem very concerned and says it because I'm pregnant

i have palpitations, and they get alot worse when i am pregnant, they actually take my breath away. they put monitors and everything on me. My heart rate got up to over 170 bpm and my primary said that its not normal but that i never got out of a regular rhythm, which was good, so he didn't seem concerned, just that i was pregnant and i have asthma also which isn't always helpful in pregnancy. sometimes my chest hurts, but i was told not to have caffeine either, it makes it worse.

I had the same problem with my first pregnancy, and have felt it a few times during this pregnancy as well. I too have been told by my OB that it's normal.
