I know kitkat that is so sad. I hope she hasn't lost her chances for good but miracles happen everyday. Maybe she should wait awhile and give her body time to heal....

I would imagine that once a uterus ruptures, it is probably to weak to carry something as heavy as a baby, or too risky even.

Are you getting excited yet KitKat? I still have ONE WHOLE WEEK! By the way, Mommam, I like your name choice. Very country! My little one has been moving a lot today. I wonder where SB200 is today. She is usually the first to post! :-)

Morning ladies!! Kitkat good luck today!!! I am very excited for you!! I can't beleive it is our week already!! I wasn't feeling so great today, so I stayed home with my puppy, but feeling better now. I think I am getting allergic to work already! I read Shoppings post this weekend and just sat here and cried for her. It has been on my mind all weekend and I can't even imagine what she and her hubby are going through. How common is a uterus rupture?? I have had sporatic movement all weekend!! So exciting, once I feel one lttle nudge, I stop everything I am doing and just wait!! I haven't been able to feel it from the outside yet, but sweetpea is def. getting stronger! Baby really likes (or dislikes!!) green grapes!! I love the name choices that you guys have picked already!! We are thinking Jaxson as a possible for a boy & Olivia grace for a girl. Can you guys believe that we are almost halfway done already??

Kitkat i didn't drink anything out of the norm for my u/s and it went fine. don't over do it because if u pee before the u/s then u wasted all that pee....lol. but i think they will do just fine.... we go back 4/8 for a 2nd u/s bcuz we couldnt get any face shot of Mason. and Thanks ekay we really love it too... So i ahve a HUGE ? for you guys. I want to b___stfeed and i have looked at pumps and they r like 200$. but what if the baby doesnt take to the b___st milk then i am s.o.l. should i or shouldnt i register for one? i hate to throw all that money away.

ekay03 - March 17

I just wouldn't open it until you're ready to pump, then you can always sell it in unused condition on ebay. They recommend not to pump for a bit after giving birth so your milk supply can adjust to the baby first. You could always wait until you really need it too before you buy one because you wouldn't need one right at first anyhow. I am so happy you are feeling movement SB200! My little guy is knocking around quite a bit today. I normally feel him best when I lean back and he/she will nudge my hand, but these are like inside flickers. Everytime I lean back to feel with my hand, the little stinker stops. I love the name Jackson. I could never convince my husband to go for it, I even like Olivia for a girl name, but I'd never have a chance with that one either.

Ekay I know, these are the only few names we both agree on so far! We have such different tastes in names and our list gets long and then we are back to square one!! We also like Coy for a boy, but jaxson is winning so far.Momma good ?! I too really want ot be able to bf and was wondering about that as well, but it makes sense to wait to buy one unitl you know if baby is going ot take to b___st milk or not. Ekay, they movement is one of the best feelings in the world!!Everyone wearing green today??

Ya know what name I like for a boy is Colt. But I'm pretty much gonna have to like Waylon Dale (if it is a boy of course!) because that's what he calls it and that's what his little heart is set on. I'll just be happy with healthy! Whatever you potential b___stfeeders do-DO NOT GIVE UP. It can be hard the first few weeks. No one ever really told me that it isn't second nature. Well, I mean, it is second nature but both of you kinda have to learn it. You have to be concerned with correct latch on, milk let down, etc., but it is worth it because of convenience. Just don't give up. And that is Erin's motherly advice for today. These b___d men in my office dare to bring in Taco Bell and not even phone to see if I wanted some too. Damn them! I totally don't wanna work.

mommaminchey - March 17

Erin thanks for the mom advice for the day...lol. i think i will hold off on regitering for one and if we need one mauybe use gift cards to buy one... I like the name jackson. i wanted to use it as a middle name but mason jackson doesnt go well...lol. i also like colton, carson, and cayson... just to throw some out for ya... my movement is so funny. i can tell the baby liked ben and jerry cuz last night i was eating double fudge brownie and when i was done Mason laid into me and i was like whoa... i guess he was wanting more....

mommaminchey - March 17

Ekay I know this isn't for 1st rodeo and with 3 kids you def know what your doing but what are things i should and shouldnt regiter for. like my cuz said diaper genie is a must but what r things they u really dont need????? or must have????

Ya know what pumpkin, I might be just as lost as you are. I am not a flashy person and I definitely never bought or kept things I knew I wasn't going to use for the baby (for instance wipe and/or bottle warmers). But here goes: I bought a basic satchel that had extra pockets in lieu of a fancy diaper bag, you need that diaper changer thing that holds the diaper and the wipes and then folds out as something to lie the baby on for when you are out and about, burp clothes fo' sho' and lots of 'em. I don't recommend getting too many packages of newborn diapers because they will grow out of the quickly, but definitely start stocking now on the #1 and #2's. Lots and lots of baby wipes (you can never have too many because you will use them for the next 2 years). Inexpensive crib sheets because all kinds of fun stuff will ruin the pretty ones (their poop does stain everything at first!) A good b___st pump like Medela, bouncy chairs, swings (lifesavers!), I used a 'pouch' with my daughter which is like a sling and keeps the baby close and snuggly, so I could vacuum and hold her at the same time (try I think it was Pea in the Pod dot com, they are handmade from hemp), lots of sleep n' play outfits because they pretty much live in those things the first month or two when you are housebound, nightime lavender lotion for a little calming rubdown before bedtime, baby fingernail clippers, a nose bulb, rectal thermometer (good fun), some sort of musical/lighty up thingy to attach to the crib for bedtime (like the little aquarium thing), ya know for the calming effect, baby papasaun (sp?) chair (it's that round green and tan chair that looks o' so comfy for an adult from Target I think). OH YEAH and a thing called a kiddopotamus that you get from Toy R' Us and Baby R' Us. That thing was great. It's a swaddler that velcro's so the baby can't wiggle out of the swaddle, but it's not constricting, just comfy. There are cheaper ones from Target, but they don't work as well. This is a KIDDOPOTAMUS and it made from microfleece. Wow, I think you helped me more than I helped you! I had kinda forgotten everything until you jogged my memory. I need to print this bad boy out.

mommaminchey - March 17

Well i think you did help... We want to make sure we have what we will NEED more than want...lol like the wipe warmer thing seems soo silly to me... but oh well... I didn't even think about extra sheets but that does make sense.. so u think we should go ahead and buy diapers now? i know we live in different states but anywhere in particular u think is cheaper than others?

softbreeze200 - March 17

ekay that is a great list!! I printed it off as well and it will be a really good point to start to make any sense of all the baby essential madness!! Did anyone ever try to use cloth diapers?? I was thinking about it,but I am leaning more and more towards disposible as they are just so much more convienient. How many infant packs would you suggest to start with?? Any preferances on brand?

KITKAT01 - March 17

Well It's a girl..i am super excited but now we have to figuer out some names

softbreeze200 - March 17

CONGRATS Kitkat!! Anyone one joining the pink team!! The girls are starting to out number the boys!! I am sure a name will come to you easy and will be perfect!! Congrats to you and your hubby!! How was the rest of the u/s??
