Oh, and my doctor always does a sonogram at EVERY appt. and for other patients (who arent as worrysome as me) I think its every 4 weeks up to 24 weeks then every 2 weeks...but not sure. Ive had about 7 so far and only got charged for the first one. and i im only getting actually charged for the 3 the insurance covers. (1st one, 24ish weeks, and 32ish weeks ) im very lucky to have found her.

ok seriously, eliz, what state do you live in? i am moving there! i have already paid over $300 and have only been to the DR three times. i guess how my insurance works is i have to pay $1000 deductible before they will cover anything. gr yet another thing i hate about virginia! =[

I live in texas (dallas/fort worth). When we first started going every week during the first trimester i was really worried it was gonna cost us an arm and a leg for all those sonograms bc i knew the insurance only covers some of them. but we decided we didnt care bc i needed the rea__surance of making sure everything was okay (ive had a previous m/c) They never asked for a copay or anything. Well then at our 10 week one, they gave me my bill and it was like $320 something. And i could pay it now or after delivery. I was sooo confused, I asked what this bill was for and she said everything including delivery. And she showed me where the 3 sonograms were and all the blood work. I asked about the other ones ive had and she said she doesnt charge for them bc it only takes her minute to do the quick check ones. (she has even fit me in as a walk-in without appts a couple of times) Something about she doesnt like to fight the insurance company and she likes to be able to give her patients as many as they want so she just doesnt charge for them. Its fabulous. If i had a different doctor i would be a nervous wreck by now. I didnt have an appt for 4 weeks and had been used to having them every week since i found out i was pg. It was hard. but i needed to get used to not going every week. but i got a home doppler to check for the heartrate myself so i wouldnt have to keep going in. ( i felt bad for bothering her so much) We still have to pay our hospital bills though. (room, epidural, etc..)

Gabby- Julia is at the top of my list too, but my husband isnt a fan. He likes Brianna the most. And its one of my fav's too...im just horrible with the middle names though.

Please let's not get started on what we are paying for delivery, doctors, etc. I know a lot of the girls on here know this, but for ya'll that don't I pay close to $400 a month just to have insurance and then a $2500 a year deductible. So I am basically paying $800 a month until August for this kid! Makes me physically ill. Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one with a c___ppy s_x drive. It's kinda a sensitive subject in our household because about a year ago me and hubby had some SERIOUS problems because for some reason I NEVER wanted to have s_x. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So I just don't want him to think we're going through that again, it's just I am so tired and to be perfectly honest, I don't feel all that s_xy. Guess I better get some work done, bleh.

Elizhope, your u/s pics are awesome! I haven't seen my little guy since 8w3d. It was a cool pic though because you can see the feet perfectly. I have this horribly silly fear that on Monday there just isn't going to be anything in my uterus. To me, the baby is just a heartbeat, ya know. I still second guess the movements I feel. I'm like, oh that's probably just a muscle spasm, cause that's what they feel like. I just want some no doubt about it kicks and punches and nudges!! Every time I feel a flutter, I'll lean back in my office chair and there's nothing so I think its all a figment of my imagination.

I still have 3.5 more hours to work and I really really dont want too...lol. but we are having the family over for easter dinner so tomorrow will be an all day cleaning. that will be such fun... ha. i am so ill with jeremy right now i can barely see straight. i just want to hit him in the face....lol. he is just being lazy and i guess my hormones are acting crazy and its just not a good day for him...lol. i havent wanted to have s_x lately either... i see the bed for sleeping now and thats it... no hanky panky. but oh well. im sure it will change soon enough.

Mommam, can I ask you a question? Do your movements sometimes feel like low muscle spasms? I have felt this before, but all day today, what I think is movement is really low and feels like twitching. Some days the movement is more nudges and rolls and up higher, but today, it's twitchy. If that makes sense. You'd think I'd remember this, but I dont!! And like I'll lean back to feel if it's movement and it will stop, so I don't know if it's the position I'm in or what. I just want to know for sure it's the baby before I go being all happy the baby has moved so much today. My husband isn't being very smart either. Example, last night he was sore from work, which I completely understand because he does hard labor. So I pretty much did everything with the kids AND rubbed his back last night. He was all "you don't have to rub me....I feel bad because I should be rubbing you." I don't mind trying to help him when he's in pain, but I'm like Yeah d__nit! You should be rubbing me! He just isn't the doting husband type, which I know, but sometimes wish he was. He has his sweet moments, so I don't want to completely discredit him, , but every now and again I would like him to say "don't lift a finger dear, I'll do everything tonite" . He'll tell me not to lift a finger, but all that means is don't lift a finger right now and I'll say I'll do it all, but I really won't and you'll just have to do it later or another day! Ha...men!

You are so lucky to be feeling anything! I havent even felt a flutter. My baby is just a heartbeat to me too. Even at the sonograms its hard to believe that shes in my tummy bc i havent started showing or felt anything yet. So are you thinking boy or girl?

mommaminchey - March 21

yes ekay sometimes when i am sitting down it feels like a twitch. Its not like the rolls. I can def tell when he rolls... Its such a wierd feeling. but the twitching i am not sure what he is actually doing in there but i am sure its some type of movement.

Hello ladies. thought I'd just drop in and say hello. Ekay- when I feel the baby move, to me feels EXACTLY like twitches in my lower tummy. I've always thought that. Funny you mentioned it too. I'm always like "was that a muscle spasm?" I know its the baby though...Oh, and all of you who mentioned low s_x drive. I'm right there with you. My s_x drive has never been good, but now its even worse. I feel so bad for my hubby. He's a really good sport about it though. Well, hope you all have a great day and weekend!!!

ekay03 - March 21

Alright ladies, the next time you hear from me I will be either bringing up the boy end or sending the girl side soaring! My appt is at 9:45, so ya'll should hear from me by about 11:30 or noon central time. Wish me luck! I hope ya'll have a good Easter weekend. I will be stealing lots o' candy out of my kiddo's baskets I'm sure! Hehe.

ekay03 - March 21

Thanks preggo! You and mommam made me feel better about my little 'spasm'! Maybe that's what I'll name it-Spasm. Kidding. It's still weird how it stops when I move positions.
