ok WOW! I know IVE been gone a long time, but whew! I missed a whole thread and a half! Damn my ghetto Dell laptop! Grr. I swear, it p__ses me off so bad I dont even attempt to get online anymore! Patti - I commented your prego pic on myspace (I think that was you) Anyways, you look SOOOO cute!!! I still havent posted any of my belly pics, or taken any for that matter, cause I dont know.. Im just not photogenic. But I KNOW I will regret it if I dont take any period. Will have nothing to reminese about later on... Boodah - your baby painting sounds very cool! Wish I could get someone to come in and paint a sweet a__s mural for baby! Thats awesome! So EKAY - any news about his job? Good Luck! CNAS - good to hear things are looking good for you and hubby. And Patti - GRR, YES I have been getting cramps off and on still, too. Almost like period cramps. It just sucks! I almost think its just gas, but then try to go, and nothing. Gr. Sometimes I just cant even move when it cramps up.. almost like pins & needles..just have to wait for it to pa__s. But im pretty sure its all normal!

EKAY - you cracked me up with your weekend learnings! haha. All very true! So, I see Im not the only one suffering from killer heartburn. Ill have to try to find those banana tums. They actually sound pretty good. MM now I want a banana popcicle. haha. MOMMA - Im kinda with you, I dont think I look very pregnant. I think I just look fat. I guess it depends on what shirt im wearing though. Some days its like BAM! Pregnant! other days just look like I overate! haha. I am still wearing my regular pre prego jeans, but have some mat jeans but I have a roll of fat that creeps over the top of the band, hahah., so ive resorted to my regular jeans with a hair tie around the b___ton to give me extra room. I know, Im silly. Surprisingly I havent used my doppler in a few weeks. I suppose I should since were still paying for it, but I really only use it before bed, and lately have just wanted to pa__s out. YAY for 24 weeks today! Does 3rd tri really start at 27 week? I dont know why, I thought it was 6 weeks. Oh wells. It will come soon enough! <3 Love to all! Have a great night!! -Amanda

Morning my little apple dumplings. I have to be quick because I have tons and tons of appraisals to write. I think I p__sed my boss off somehow, because he has me going all over God's green acre. I........have............tonsoffreakingstretchmarks!!!!!!I woke up this morning, got out of the shower and was putting my worthless-a__s Vitamin E lotion on and realized the b___ds are creeping up on me. I didn't sleep a wink last night, but hopefully for good reason.....hubby got the job!!!! He drove back to San Antonio from Houston to say a proper goodbye to me and the kids last night and then woke up at 3:00 this morning and headed back to Houston. Poor little tyke is scared outta his mind. He is leaving the comfy world of laying tile and jumping into welding huge a__s machinary for rigs. We are so fortunate though, let me tell you. He has zero experience but because he befriended the right person, so to say, he has this opportunity. The MAJOR downfall, is when he does end up going offshore it is 5 weeks gone and 1 week home, not the 4 weeks gone and 2 weeks home we thought. But he gets paid for the week he's home, so that's a plus. He's such a smart cookie and a fast learner, I'm confident he'll do really well. I miss him so much already though. Patti, will you be my shoulder? :-) And during my sleepless night last night, I realized why sometimes Creedence is quiet during the day. It's because she is up ALL NIGHT LONG. I don't imagine she got quiet until 4 o'clock this morning. Bad news when she's outta the womb, eh? Boodah and Island, great to hear from you guys. Too bad we can't hear from you more often! Why does it seem business try to muck with people pay and schedule's while pregnant? Punks!

ekay, tell ur husband to take mine with him! he wants a welding job! lol. he loves to weld, and looks around here, but theres not much. he drives a forklift. he hates it. i think chloe is awake all the time, i swear!

yay ERIN!!!! soooo happy you guys got the job! I can't imagine being w/o hubby for weeks at a time. for the first 5 years of our relationship we lived 2 hours away from each other and only saw each other on weekends, and not every weekend. now that I have him all to myself I couldn't imagine it again! we're here to hear your complaining so start whenever you feel like it! question about stretch marks, if I haven't gotten any yet does that mean I might not get them? I mean, my belly has grown a lot and I don't see any yet. just hoping and wondering if you guys knew. boodah, we have bought furniture. we bought the crib that converts into a single bed, but didn't buy the parts to do that right now b/c we were thinking we'd need the crib for other children we might have and thought it would be better to buy more beds than cribs in the future. we also bought the matching dresser, it's rather large but I haven't seen it in person so I can't answer the question about the drawers. I just wanted a matching set, I didn't care about practicality right now :)

oh patti, that would be enough to ruin my day! I don't think ther'es much worse than having something in your head you want to eat while pregnant and then not being able to get it!! they must do their hot dogs differently in canada, b/c the dogs at costco in NJ are awesome, and I am quite the hot dog ciritic!!! we went there once when the yogurt machine was broken and I sulked around the whole store the whole time. actually mike did too! we're both costco frozen yogurt fanatics!!!! a tomato pie is kinda like a sicilian pizza with really thick dough, but it's more mushy on a tomato pie - there's no cheese, just dough and tomato sauce, it's soooooooooo good. I know it doesn't sound the best, but trust me! If any of you ever come to NY/NJ area to visit you have to try it!!!

Morning ladies!! Ekay - CONGRATS!! That is great news about the job. The extra income will be really great, but the solitude is going to take a lot of getting used too and a lot of lonely sleepless nights. But I will def be here anytime for a shoulder or heck even a whole back to support you. I can't even imagine how he is feeling and how scared he must be, but he will do fine. The one good thing about it, is if you guys decide at any point in time, that this is not the career that you want him to have, he has the other to always fall back on and there is always a need and demand for that kind of work, so he is not trapped into the rig work. So Creedence is a night owl hey?? SO far sweatpea hasn't really kept me up at night too bad, it is more of a combination of getting used to sharing the bed with hubby again and my dog that thinks he needs half of the KING SIZE bed for him to stretch out on. He is a jack russel terrier, not really a giant of a dog!! I am up every hour or so. Frusterating. So far so good as far as the streatch marks go. I use body shop coco body b___ter everyday and do an inspection like I am looking for some secret lost treasure map!! Boodah - We bought a change table from Walmart that is kind of like a dresser. It has two drawers and a shelf. It does have the square part on the top of the table that the change pad goes into so it doesn't slide off by accident, but when you are done with that it just unscrews and can be removed to turn it into a normal dresser after. The crib is a hand me down from my sister-in-law. It is great! I am all about spending as little as I can. I saved and bought a phil&teds stroller that i really wanted that was pretty expensive, so it was good to not have to spend too much on nursery furnature. Gabby - the whole yogurt thing frusterated me all day!! I ended up stopping at yoginfruz after work and getting a frozen yogurt!! Does that count as a uncontrollable craving?? lol!! The whole Tomato Pie thing sounds very interesting. We are actually planning a trip to New York hopefully at the end of the month to catch a ball game, so I have added it to my list of things to go and do while there!!

oh boy, you' are going to love it here if you've never visited!! are you staying in manhattan?? if so, do you know where? I think I remember you saying you guys were yankee fans?? we're mets people, but you should defanitely get over to yankee stadium before it closes. if you need some recommendations let me know!! nyc can be an intimidating place when you don't know what you're doing.

softbreeze200 - April 16

Yes, we are planning on catching a Yankee's game before it closes down. I am trying to look into where to stay that is not going to break the bank, and we do want to be in Manhattan. So any suggestions would be much appreciated!! We want to do all the normal touristy stuff, like the empire state building, ground zero, liberty, that stuff. Any other suggestions on stuff to go and see or do? We could wait till june, but I am thinking I want to go while I am still feeling good and want to walk around and do that stuff!

Okay, I'm back from God's Green Acre. I found a baby raccoon in one of the houses I measured. I love to rescue animals, but I refrained from touching it cause of diseases and such. The guy that met me out there said he was gonna call Wildlife Rescue. I hope he did. Anyways, I COMPLETELY understand about the craving business Patti. I've pulled up for a milkshake before and the stupid machine has been broken. It really can wreck one's day. Gabbi, although the tomato pie doesn't sound, so I will take your word for it. That is one thing that I remember about going to NY is the yummy, yummy food. I am so jealous you are going Patti! I have the worst heartburn right now. I find that mine is brought on by stress. Oh and one little sidenote about stretchmarks- I am not saying this will happen to you guys and it is great so far that you haven't gotten any. HOWEVER, the last time I gave birth, ALL these stretchmarks appeared OUT OF NOWHERE. Like since there wasn't any thing to keep the skin taut anymore, they just kinda appeared. And ya'll think you have grown a lot in the belly area, but trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet!!!! But, like I said, I'm not wishing stretchmarks on anyone or necessarily saying you are going to ultimately get them. I think the ones I am seeing are just some ol' friends from the last 3 pregnancies.

softbreeze200 - April 16

Ohh Ekay - I too am such a sucker for any animals. Good call on not touching it, but hard to resist hey? I too am suffering from rotten rotten heartburn this morning. These banana tums are tasting pretty good, not seeming to do a whole lot yet, but taste good!I am very excited about the New York trip, but I was juts trying to order tickets to the game, and it isn't looking good for this month and getting seats. :( Might have to move it to June trip. Anyone getting the belly line yet?? Not for me, just wondering how common it is to get?

mommaminchey - April 16
