Hello all you lovely ladies!!
Hope you are all doing well! Well I am feeling the movements everyday now which is great - 20 weeks, 2 days - like popcorn popping in my belly or little bubbles bursting - haha - thats the way I describe it anyway - mostly active in late afternoon and when I am trying to sleep - haha. I love the way it feels and cant wait till hubby can feel them from the outside! Well HOPEFUL3 - ME TOO - I have really been wanting cinamon scrolls that I can heat up in the microwave - they hit me about 9 at night when of course I dont have any so I am going to buy a few and put them in the fridge - I could NOT get them out of my mind haha! I hope everyone is doing really great - 2nd tri is quite nice - feel much better then first!! Not so tired and sick etc etc! Went shopping today and bought my first maternity clothes - pair of jeans (coming into winter) and a heavy skirt - on sale - both for $50 - bargain haha. So that was exciting - going to go home tonight and try on all my tops and put them in a special section in my cupboard so I know what fits with out having to riffle through! Hopefully I wont have to buy much more maternity stuff until towards the end - anyway that was a novel - sorry apparently I am talkative today haha! X :)

Hello peaches!!! Let me begin this post with a little b___h session.....Okay, I spoke too soon about my sciatic nerve. Holy hell, I couldn't even bend over yesterday and hubby had to work late, so I was solo with the kiddos. My son had to have an unexpected tooth extraction due to pain (so we are 200$ poorer, yay!), I had a client second guess my house measurements yesterday, which NOTHING makes me more angry especially when I have to go back and recheck just to make everyone happy and I sat in traffic 30 minutes just getting out there! B___ds. And I fell off the "Erin not eating everything in site" bandwagon yesterday! I am a HUGE stress eater, which that combined with pregnancy means I can kiss my weight gain goal goodbye. Okay and I'm done. Mommam, I got so sad reading your posts. :-( You're usually so upbeat and I can just feel your blueness through your writing. Know that you are not alone pumpkin and if there is ANYTHING you need to talk about or vent about feel completely free. Is hubby being a c___phead? Eliz, I am happy it's still a girl and your cervix is nice and long! I think the boy/girl count is like maybe 3 to 7, but I lost count too, all I know is girls are in the lead! I am so happy to hear that everyone's movement is as sporadic, yet daily as mine (as she nudges my tummy). I have to keep remembering that the normal to feel movement is 20 weeks and I am only about 21. Doc said not to worry about consistency until 24 weeks anyways. SB200, I use the doppler more now too! Isn't that weird? You would think we would relax a bit, but if she is sleeping or whatever, I always check it. Hopeful, it's good to finally hear from you! I hope you and hubby decide on a name soon! It can be a real pain in the a__s agreeing on something. It will just come to ya'll one day, I'm sure! And I will try to add you Island! Whew, I think I covered everything!

I'm here, in body only though...I was home sick yesterday with a migraine and it's still really not totally gone. today I'm swamped at work, this place can't function when I'm not here, seriously, it's so annoying!! I'm not even the only social worker it's just that I'm the nicest one so everyone wants me to do everything! so, can't chat now, but I promise I'll be back to catch up on my reading your posts!

Hey guys!! Goodmorning. How is everyone? I am doing well just trying to get motivated for the day so i can get everything done. I am going to meet a friend of mine who has had 2 kids for lunch. I am sure I am going to ask her every question under the sun...lol. Ekay i was blue the other day and no clue really why. I am feeling much better and i will try to stay more upbeat. Theres just alot of sh*t going on since my Dad died and now we are filing a law suit against my grandfather. So alot of tension in my house and i just hate to see my mom sad. But anyways.... The weather yesterday was great but today it b__ws...lol. I will be back shortly, need to eat and start laundry!

Good Mommam, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. I am sorry you are going through so much stress, especially on your first pregnancy. To be honest with you, it seems the most stressful things seem to happen to me while pregnant! I hope that ya'll get the outcome you want and deserve.

hi, this is my first post-due aug 9th. supposed to be a girl, but the dr wasn't entirely sure. i'm going sat for a 3d ultrasound to find out--it's killing me. anyone else have a hard time seeing the "parts"?

Ok I have a question for you moms that are or at least #2 (or more). I have seriously debated asking this, but it's driving me nuts, and I really want to know. Let's say I am in labor.............and for arguments sake everything is progressing normally and I have the traditional v____al birth. I already know you dilate to 10 cm (plus extra stretching to fit the baby through). Okay, let's just say it's been 2-3 hours or so since I gave birth and I go to pee. Will my hand get lost in the cleaning process? I guess my question is how long before you return to a semi normal size after delivery? I'm just not really "that" close to members of my family that has had children and can't seem to get up the nerve to ask them.

hey there, i'm a mama thats preg. with #2, and after birth, no lol your hand will not get lost when you go to pee. totally ok question, i know it's hard to imagine when you havent been there yet. your "parts" are quite elastic, you will be a bit stretched out for a few days but you will quickly go back to normal.... my midwife gave me a squirt bottle to squirt water on myself while the pee comes out, to dilute it, because it will hurt for the first week to pee... and pooing will be hard so eat lots of soups. LOL. the un-glamorus side of birth, but with so much else going on it won't be that big of a deal.
i am just about 22 weeks now and i am excited to say that my son and my husband were able to feel the baby kicking hard thru my belly for the first time this week! YAY!! so neat to be able to share what i've been feeling with my family :)
i've gained 25 lbs already OMG LOL and i'm feeling HUGE, which sucks when strangers say wow you're so BIG. lol. or the lady at the gas station who laughed when she asked how far along i am, i said 5 months now, and she said OMG i never got that big with any of my babies! yeah... thanks :) the input of strangers is so WEIRD.
bless all you mamas!

Thanks ironmama!! I feel much better. This will be my 1st, and weird questions pop up all the time, but this is one that I've never heard anyone else really talk about. Don't feel bad, at 20 weeks I had packed on 18-19 pounds, and I wasn't skinny to start with.

Good morning sunshines! Hopeful, just be glad this is your first when worrying about your parts. I'm imagining that since this is my fourth the baby will just come crawling out! When my sister had her fourth, she coughed while she was in labor and all of sudden there was a baby between her legs! Try doing Kegels after birth, those help with getting things back to somewhat normal. 21 weeks today! We are on the downhill now. Course this half will seem longer because most of us were 5 or 6 weeks by the time we found out we were expecting. Anyways, thank goodness for 9:00 at night. She is so quiet ALL day and then finally at 9:00 she puts my mind at ease. Shooter Jennings (Waylon Jennings son) is playing in town tonite and I wanna go sooooo bad. I am willing to sacrifice sleep for it, but I don't know if we can find a babysitter. That's one small downfall of parenthood-tracking down babysitters! I will post a 21 week belly pic shortly.
