Heelllloooo again to all you sporadic posters! Great to hear from you all! Sounds like you had a great day Hopeful (I'm jealous). I had a lousy, emotional weekend and it is trickling on to today. :-( The weather was wonderful, though. I tried my hand at my first homemade cheesecake and it went over wonderfully at my stepdad's birthday party. It always gives me immense satisfaction when people love my desserts almost to the point of being odd. Anyways, Cnasmom, I am kinda going through the same thing with the HR. I don't remember what my other kids were, but sometimes her's seems so low. I don't have a number readout on my doppler, which is probably a good thing. I know that the HR is supposed to slow and kinda even out at this point, but sometimes her's doesn't seem near as fast as I think it should be. :-) My freakout at the current time is the size of my belly. I am a week "younger" than I was when I got married (I was about 23 1/2 weeks when I got married) and my belly just looks so much bigger in my wedding pics than it is now. Also, I have been checking my fundal height (which I haven't worried about in ages) and it is at about the middle of my belly b___ton. I'm worried it isn't getting any higher and it isn't helping that she hasn't been moving as much as she was last week. I still feel a nudge here and there throughout the day and she still has her nightly acrobat performance, but it's hard not to compare days. Goodness, I am a whiney pain in the a__s today.

Morning Ladies!! Glad to hear that everyone had a pretty good weekend. Mine was good – hubby siprised me and came home sat night!! He is only home till tues, but it is still great to have him home!! I think he was shocked at how big the belly was already. He kept looking at it, like I was pulling a trick on him!! I laughed and told him, that’s what happens when you go away for four months!! LOL! Sweatpea was pretty active throughout the weekend and she is definatly getting stronger! I love the movement. Hopeful – your belly pic is great!! The baby belly is big!! Look s so adorable!! I love pregnant bellies!! Glad ot hear you had an awesome Girls day. I think every woman should make it a point to have one of those every once in a while. And sounds like you got some good deals! Kitkat- So happy to hear that you had a good bridal shower ! It is so much fun to get all this new stuff for the house and to take it all home and figure out what to do with it all!! When is the big day again?? Bellybubble- I was looking online at Ikea this weekend!! We don’t have one here, but I was planning on making a trip to Edmonton where there is one, and you are right – they have a ton of great baby stuff and cheap!! All about that!! Cnas – I think that is pretty normal for the HR. I asked dr about it once and she said it can fluctuate quite a lot, but still be normal. Mommam – Good buy on Mason’s set!! I wish we still had a Kmart here. They have good stuff! Has everyone set up their cribs already?? I have been tyring to hold off from going and picking up ours from my SIL and setting it up, as I didn’t want to seem overanxious and silly, but if you all havem, well heck – what am I waiting for!! Ekay – My last appt. dr measured my fundal height and she said it was just a tiny bit over my belly b___ton and it was good. So I am sure that you too are right on. I can’t even feel the difference in mine, but she said she could feel it. So I am taking her word on it. Any news on the house??

I'll just keep telling myself I have a low belly b___ton, because she isn't quite over it yet. I know my doc said at 20weeks it is supposed to be up to your belly b___ton, but is that the bottom of it, the top of it or what. Mine is at about the middle, of course I have noticed that sometimes it is higher than other times, so maybe it depends on her position. I just don't know why my belly isn't getting bigger! :-( News on the house is they accepted my parents offer of $95,000 and now they just have to get appropriate financing. Sooooo, I am having to stay on top of them about calling the bank because they already agreed on a closing date of 04/30, which is only 3 weeks away. I am so grateful to my parents for doing this for me, but it is so stressful because I have to stay on them to get this stuff done. I'm like okay guys, we have 3 weeks to close, then another few weeks for repairs, so I'm gonna be 7 months pregnant and moving.....LET"S GET GOING HERE FOLKS!!!!

I know what it is like to have to keep on them about stuff!! They are supposed to be the adults, come on .. get in the game!!Lol!! Parents!! But the house would be great!! I would come down there to help ya move!! :)

hiee guys!! more painting for me this weekend! I'm so bad, but the windows were all open. there's just too much to do and I can't sit back and watch. we actually went to ikea this weekend too, how wierd! I didn't get anything for casey though, we bought a rolling clothes rack for all our winter jackets b/c our house doesn't have a coat closet. ekay, how exciting for you and your house!!! um, I'm now wondering what the F I'm still doing living in NJ. we spend 400K on our 3 bedroom house!!! boy oh boy - we considered moving down to atlanta b/c you can get such a mansion down there for the same price as a modest house up north, but we chickened out and couldn't leave :) we actually just ordered our nursery furniture over the weekend too but I have no idea when it's coming in. my mom's friend is an interior designer so we got 60% beautiful furniture. it was still really expensive stuff, but my parents and mike's parents are buying it so.....haha. SB, go ahead and decorate your nursery, I don't think it's too early anymore! trust me, if her room was painted and carpeted and I had the furniture, it would be all ready! we're just not there yet with the whole house still in shambles. ok, done for now, be back after lunch. missed you ladies over the weekend!! mommam, you were in my dream last night, can't remember what it was about though!!

gabbysally - April 7

oh, when I said my parents were buying the furniture...haha, I DID NOT mean that as ha ha to you guys! I just read that back and it sounded like I was boasting, but I didn't mean it like that!! I just meant if mike and I were buying it we wouldn't have spent so much money. sorry!!

softbreeze200 - April 7

LOL! Gabby - it did not sound like a boast in anyway!! That is great that theya re buying it for you - every bit helps!! 400K for a 3 bedroom!! Holy c___p!! You can get a nice four bedroom out here int eh city for about 200k. Our house (mind you we are out in a small town in the middle of nowhere) our house was 50k when we bought it 10 years ago, and it would probably sell for around 100k now. I can't imagine paying that for a house! Wow!! Amazing hwo prices change all over the place! Glad to hear your house is coming along and painting is fine as long as the windows are open I think! We will have to post some finished nursery pics on our myspace when we get them all done!!

Hey Ladies! Just wanted to put in what i know about vaccines.... In japan they stopped vaccinating children under the age of 1, and virtually ELIMINATED sids. (sudden infant death syndrome) Sweden i believe and Australia took up similar programs. Many dangers to babies from vaccines can be avoided by waiting to vaccinate until the baby's system has time to strengthen on its own. The first reccomended vaccinations are at birth, and at one month, two months, and four months. Many babies at that age are still so small that their systems are greatly effected by the shots. The main issue about vaccines is that a teeny baby is so fresh into the world that it is very vulnerable to shock. Vaccinations are a huge deal for a 5-15 lb body, and the shock of processing the vaccine can cause a variety of reactions: life threatening allergies, athsma, and autism. Autism is also linked to the thimerasol (mercury) they put in vaccines as a preservative. If you look online you can find the ingredient lists for most major vaccinations, and it is SCARY. They have fromaldehyde, MSG, mercury, and lots of other wierd things in them. MOST vaccines have had the thimerasol taken out but flu vaccines still have the ingredient. In the state of california, they had a batch of mercury-free flu vaccines for the year, but when they ran out they had the state government temporarily lift the ban on thimerasol so that they could sell the vaccines with mercury in them to keep up with the demand. The FDA is NOT honest and the pharmecutical companies pay the government to keep quiet for the reason of continued profits. Your doctor may or may not think you are crazy for asking about autism and vaccines, depending on whether or not they are open minded. Remember that doctors are also paid bonuses by pharmecutical companies for selling their drugs. Yikes! That was long winded, sorry folks, I suggest everyone do their own research on the net, take everything you read with a grain of salt, and form your own opinions based on what feels right in your gut. The best decision might be to postpone vaccinations until your baby is bigger and stronger and in the meantime, read as much information as you can so that you can make an informed decision.
