hi everyone iam six months preg.and i having my baby shower on june 25,2005 a week before my b-day well this is the thing I already gave out most of the invitation is that ok my noisey mother in law said that it was too early but I was to excited now iam scared everyone will forget and I'll spend all that money for nothing help what I do

did you have people rsvp? a couple weeks before call or email the people who haven't responded yet, or send a postcard (cheaper to mail) to remind people!

I don't think it's to early. The summer time is a busy time for a lot of people
( vacations,weddings, ect.) so it's nice to be able to plan things ahead of time. I agree with Amanda, just email or call people when it gets closer to remind them. Better to send them to early then late.

I agree! I thought the standard for summer invites is 6 weeks... That seems pretty close. Look at weddings... People don't forget to go!
