I have an honest question and I mean no offense to anyone....if you guys think it is okay to have 'non-alcoholic' beer, do you think it is okay to smoke ultra light cigarettes? I personally put those two in the same boat, but again, that is my sole opinion. I just think that a ultra lights have little tar and nicotine, much like 'non-alcoholic' beer has a little alcohol...what's the difference? Again, I mean no offense, just curious to see how you guys differentiate the two.

you ABSOLUTELY cannot compare cigarettes to non-alcoholic beer. there are no carcinogens in beer.

Again, I didn't want to start a mean debate about how I don't k now what I am talking about, and how dare I compare those two....like I said, I personally feel (and I am ent_tled to my opinion) that they are likely similar, and I wouldn't dabble in either. I smoked before I got prego, and I wouldn't touch a cigarette now. I used to drink too, but wouldn't touch it, even if I was told I could have a little, just because I want the best for my little girl. Again.....I am pretty sure that these forums are supposed to be used for opinions too, and there is no reason that anyone should be attacked for stating their opinion, or asking an honest question.

Courtney just base our opinion on some facts or research you do on your own. Just google cigarettes or light cigs etc and you can get a gist of what people mean when they say, "you cant compare the two.".... (with non alcoholic beer)

Well ladies today I asked my doctor about this issue and finally put my mind to rest. She says there is nothing wrong with having one,two .5% beers at the most on occasion. Their is the equivalent amount of alcohol in safe cold medicine for pregnant chicks. So no worries.
