Hey girls, I figured I'd start us a new Thread, cause We are getting to that point again. NM, I check out your site, I love the pups and the little girl is adorable. Is that your daughter? Jennifer I uderstand how you feel about moving and getting ready for the baby. We were trying to get a house too, until one of the engineers for my company called me on the side and told me that the way things are going in my company I should NOT do it, because they are not sure of the company's future... That scared the c__p out of me.....So, not only do we have to worry about being ready for the baby but now my husband and I have to worry about the stability of our income...We can't make it for too long on just one salary.

Good morning ladies!! Kara, I am sorry you are having such a hard time with the house, I know how that can be, and sitting and waiting. We got a newly built house and people actually stand in line for then when they open a phase and you are standing there in line at who knows what time in the morning not sure if you will get the house you want and then you still have to go through the whole wonder of the loan . . .thats what happened to us. . .I am glad it over but I will be hoping the best for you!!

I will for sure try to get a new pic up Monday (although my stupid computer keeps telling me that it cannot find piczo, I don't know whats wrong here at work I will have to try at home, I still cannot look at NM's pics), because I don't know how long I will be here today and this is why I need your help Ekay and Jennifer (the only ones with kids right?)
My 5 year old woke up crying this morning at 2am because he said he ear hurt. Yesterday afternoon he had told me his throat hurt, but just a little sore throat I didn't think that much of it and gave him a little medicine (they have had cols and stuff but this is my first time dealing with this). Well this morning when he woke up and told me his ear hurt I pushed on it and asked him if it hurt then, he said no I asked him if the other one hurt and he said no, I asked when it did hurt and he said when he swallows. Is this a sign of a ear infection? I have looked up symptoms and they all say hard to sleep and so forth, which when I put him in bed with us he tossed and turned for an hour and a half, but none say hurting while swallowing!!

Beth, he could have swollen glands, that would hurt in the ear area when swollowing. You should take him to a doctor just in case it is an ear infection, I wouldn't want to wait the whole weekend, if there is an infection, it won't go away without being treated. I really don't know a whole lot about ear infections, neither me or my son have ever had an ear infection. Lucky I am not buying a house, I already have one, I think you must have meant Kara. I can't get on to see NM's pictures either. What are Lucky's, Ekay's, and Citrouille's website's?? I know Beth's and NM's, but I don't want to go through all the old threads to find the other ones.

She is both, she just turned a year and I also have a mixed german shepard. When you go to your website can you add photo or is just me?

Thanks Jennifer, I had just got off the phone with my mom (you know call the mom for advice) and she said dr too!! I will call my house at 7:45 when I know they are all awake and have him bring him to me.

Yeah I would say take him to the doctor for sure, better safe then sorry. No Lucky was talking about me buying the house, not you silly.

Hello, hello ladies. The thing with ear infections is a little congestion can quickly turn into an ear infection. It is possible that a 5 year old is a__sociating the pain in his throat, which is close to his ear, with ear pain. I would definitely call the doctor to be sure. Beth, who was your builder? I am curious because there is a huge builder down here, KB Homes, that builds really inexpensive houses here and they go for the 300,000s up in Cali.

oohh man that sucks NM, we were supposed to have rain tomorrow and Sunday but I heard that the rain was now moved to just Sunday!! I will believe it when I see it though, it looks somewhat cloudy outside.

Yeah I just called my fiance and he had already dropped all three kids off at the bus, I guess Anthony said he felt ok, but I called his teacher and gave her my cell phone directly and told her to call me if he complained. because I wanted to get him in if it still hurt and before it got worse.
KB homes is a huge one here, they are building right by us, but ours was DH Horton.
