On Monday morning I woke up to find that I had a load of "old" blood which had practically soaked through my pantyliner. I had no pain but one thing I did note was that from the start my b___st were VERY tender. On Monday morning they did feel different. Not so soar. I feel different in myself I have a feeling that women know when they have actually miscarried. I called the docs, went into A&E and had a physical examination. The doc said, oss is closed, blood around the v____al area but she didn't know where the bleeding was coming from. I had no pain when she did the phsyical examination. When I had a shower I pa__sed a large brown clot and since then I have been getting a brownish discharge. I am going for a scan tomorrow so will let you guys know how I get on. I am in the 7th week. Fingers crossed for us all. JJx

I had spotting through my first trimester and four ultrasounds to ensure the baby was doing okay. I was doing great the last couple weeks then today spotting again. My doctor has also put me on pelvic rest. I can work but no exercise, no s_x and no strenuous activities. They don't know what is causing mine but limiting my activity seems to help. Good luck. Oh I am 15 weeks along.

I am experiencing bleeding as well! I am 5 weeks and this is my second pregnancy. The first pregnancy I miscarried and didn't even know! I had an emergency D&C the following day I was told of my terrible news. In that pregnacy I experienced some bleeding while I wiped, and I am so scared I am going to have another one. I noticed in this pregnancy that I am gaining more weight and felt completely different. I was told that if you feel sick that it is actually better for the pregnancy. Who knows if it is true. I tried calling my doctor, but they are closed for the holiday. I'll call tomorrow to make sure everything is okay. I hope they will see me. I didn't even have my first visit yet. I wish all of you luck and hope that our pregnancy's are healthy....

Tell your OB about this ASAP. Ask for an ultra-sound to make sure everything is okay.

i am in my 11th week and have had spoting for the last couple of days. last night it was worse, it was heavier and bright red in color. before it was a brownish color. the doctor told me to just keep my feet up and relax. does this sound like a miscarraige to any of you??

Jacquie - July 13

this is my fourth pregnancy, and the others were miscarrages. I experienced bright bleeding at 12 week mark and brown at 13 week mark which has continued to now, 14 week. I have had two untrasounds which say the baby is alive and well. I am on bed rest at the moment but because of my past i am so worried.

It's me again - 13wks into my twin pregnancy. The previous bleeding episodes concluded at about 10wks and now I am facing another bought of bright red blood and clots. Since I am not cramping, the doctor on call at the hospital has mostly just told me to kick my feet up and relax because there is nothing they can really do at this point. Waiting is the worst! I will be sure to keep you posted as to what happens with the babies. I just wish we could get to the bottom of it but with a lot of pregnancy things, what could be cause for concern, could be completely "normal".

This is my second pregnancy and I had the same exact experience my 10th week. I had a blood colored liquid like discharge that lasted for one day. I had an ultrasound done and everything seemed to be fine. After the one day of bleeding, I have been experiencing dark brownish discharge with clots for the last two weeks. I'm now going on my third week of discharge, and there are no signs of stopping it. I have asked the doctor for any reasons why it is happening and if it could be stopped, but the doctor has no answers. I spend the majority of my time now making sure that I don't feel any cramps. Good luck ladies!

I experienced bleeding a few weeks ago and now it's just brown spotting every few days. I am not cramping and my cervix is closed and tight. Babies heart beat is good and strong I am 18 weeks now and I have an urgent ultrasound this thursday and one next week. My doctor said that it could be placenta previa. I wish I know what it was.

Hi all, the same is happen to me, first I had all day, pink red colour - bleeding until come's out a big 7 cm browning clot and stopped together with a mild pain, I was calling my midwifed and she mention nothing you can do so I waiting the weekend and the bleeding was freak me out, but I need some asnwers and after that I was check Monday buy another doctor, my GP was in holidays and he send me to the hospital, they clean me there, and after the ultrasound the babe was fine, the specialist at hospital told me don't have no answer why the bleeding and spotting starting, but ' If I have some pain like similar period pain and fresh bleeding need to rush straight away to the hospital', I'm still very nervous about the whole experienced, and after 10 days the mild pain stopped but unfortunatelly I'm still have the brown spotting is coming every day - religious. Monday will be my 10 w and 2 d, I was off for 1 week from my work for put my feet up's and resting, tomorrow I will returned back to work next week but not for the 40 hours weekly, I'm still feel need some rest and I will make a deal to my work until this event finished or my 12 w 1/2. I hope it ends soon, my CVS exame is booked for next Mondya and another things is worry me about, I need to explained to the specialist at hospital when if is going to be done, or is better post poned. But I agreed with Shaba go to docor and hospital as soon is possible don't wait your time. Write all the information into your diary so will can have with you for give to dr or specialist. And please midwife is not doctors they can help only and the due labour date.
