Well I went to the doctor this morning and I am not dialated at all. this is good sence I am 30+ weeks (only) and the doctor ran a fetal fibrosis test on the baby, this is a v____al swab and it tells the doctor if my contractions are real or just braxton hicks. the test came back negative which means the I am having braxtons not labor. YIPPEE this is good news and the test is good for 2 weeks. As far as I am concerned they can run this test every 2 weeks I will pay for it. It sure does releave my mind.. I started bleeding on my 12th week. I was just gushing out bright red blood. I went straight to the hospital and the baby was just fine. Im now 15 1/2 weeks and im still letting out brownish blood and discharge. Ive been on bed rest and last week I went and had some test done which revealed the membrane is seperating from the Uterine Wall. Basically I was told that I needed to be extremely careful for the remains of my pregnancy(no s_x, no walking long distances, no excersise, no bending over or lifting heavy items. This is my second pregnancy. My first was almost perfect in comparison to this one! I think ive been to the doctor about 12 times not including 4 visits to the ER! Its tough, but we are women and we are strong! I cant wait for this lil baby to be born so I can see the face of this oh so troublesome baby!!!! :P

Dominique well the most ovious is to quit having s_x. Alot of us on here are not allowed to have s_x because of bleeding. The orgasum (says my doctor ) makes your uterus contract and for me my cervix bleeds. A fragile cervix. and there is extra blood flow during pregnancy also. Call your doctor to make sure the baby is okay and Pray. God bless you

This is regards to the posting: Trying 2 keep a good att_tude. I noticed you said that the membrane is seperating from the uterine wall. This is what was explained to me for my problem as well. I bleed for a couple of months and now I am 29 weeks and haven't bleed for about 1 month. My high risk OB said that the membrane usually will fuse itself back together again (which it did according to the last US). Now the doctor has given me the go-ahead to resume all my normal activities. Even though having your membrane seperate sounds awful there is hope it will heal on its and you will be able to enjoy a normal pregnancy. Also brownish discharge was a postive sign for me b/c it signaled the end of the bleeding. I had this brownish discharge for about 1 month and then one day it just stopped. Take care of yourself.

I have heard alot of you talk about renting baby monitors to listen to th eheart rate. Where do you rent those from? I asked my doctor and she did not know. It would sure putmy mind at ease when the baby is sleeping in my tummy. any suggestions will help thanks Jenn

I don't know what to tell you to expect, but I can tell you to hope and pray for the best. It is ironic that you responded and I received your message today, my baby was due to be born today. I woke up on the morning of March 24th to learn that my water had broken. I went to the hospital and my baby was born March 31. He was completely fine, he weighed 5 lbs 2 oz. at 6 weeks early, he never even went to NICU. Today he is 6 weeks old and already weighs 8 lbs. So keep faith, whatever is ment to be will, and what is not won't. Good luck, I will say a prayer for you and your baby.

just checking in. had another u/s today. im dialated but my cervix is still long...so that is good news!!! im 24 weeks today...really hoping to make it a while longer!!!

Jenny if you go to babybeat.com, you can rent a moniter...to find other sites that ship to you just google baby heartrate moniter and they will give you other websites who rent. Just an update, today i had another ultrasound and my little boy is 4lbs and doing fine. I am almost 33 wks and am looking forward to meeting him soon. God bless you all.

Rest a__sure that the brown spotting that you are now having is old blood....meaning there is no active bleed which is good. If the bleeding was heavy, as you described in the beginning, than the brown spotting can happen for a little while. Try your best to relax and see your doctor :>)

I just completed my 10 weeks yesterday and ths morning whn i woke up i saw few blood spotting, and i have been having lower stomach pain it's on and off. Is't normal and im really worry abt the spotting!! Looking forward the answer. Thanks.

Mary have you seen a doctor? I would insist on it and then relax and try not to stress about it what ever is going to happen will happen and we have little control over it. ( unfortunatly).. How are you and the babies Millie? How are the Stephanies doing? I think of you all often and hope you are all doing well.
