Millie, thank you so much for your encouraging words. You've stayed so positive and supportive on these message boards even through your own tough times... you are a really neat person! Anyway, my bleeding has stopped and I talked to the dr's office today. The nurse said I can start to taper off of the progesterone, so now I just take it at night when I want to sleep and the side effects don't matter anyway. YEAH!

S. Tango, during all my research while I was bleeding I saw several articles that talked about cervical bleeding. It seems to happen often as there are so many engorged blood vessels. I'm glad your bleeding has stopped. I know it's very hard not to worry. It you can, try to find some of the articles on cervical bleeding...it should make you feel a little better. Thank Julie, my brown spotting has stopped. The Dr. said there was a few of those hematomas. I will have another ultrasound in 2 weeks. I have been praying like crazy. I will keep you all in my prayers too. Thanks Tina

Hi everyone, I started have a little more spotting today only when I wipe. It is just a browish pink mucus kind of stuff. This has been going on since for a while. I just want everything to be ok. Do you think it will stop by the end of my first trimester?Thanks

Tina, I will pray that it does. Hope this ordeal gets over sooner that you are hoping for. Since it's just spotting try not to worry too much. But you know what even with profuse bleeding women have gone through pgs and delivered healthy babies. I am one of them. So keep hope. Through it all I always wondered how cool it must be not to have any trouble in pregnancy and just enjoy the most blissful experience of it all. I envied those women who had a normal pregnancies. Anyways.. after having the baby you won't remember any of these times. So just hang in there. All will be well. Amen!!!

I am having the same problem but my doctor wasn't very clear on what a subchorionic hemorrge is and i have been bleeding about 2 months off my pregnancy. heck i didn't even know i was pregnant i thought i was haveing a wierd period. your guys stories have helped me a little i am still scared as my past pregnancy have not gone so well.

Jana, I had this same thing. No doc knows why it happens and no one has a cure. But more than enough it absolves itself and all the blood gets absorbed by the walls many a times. So keep hope. Also try to take bed-rest even if the doc hasn't suggested it. I think that's what worked for me. No heavy lifting at all. Also ask your doc to send you to high risk ob. See my posts during october. My situation , I am 20 weeks... After intercourse i had a litte blood along with a light color of somethings....I went to the ER..ER doctor said that cervix become tender during pregnacy, and that everthing was fine , felt heart beat and did an ultra-sound ...I have been spotting a lite brownish , but everthing seems to be normal , ladys dont worry ....

hi ladies - might if i join you? for the past two friday's i have had spotting. at the 18 week scan last thursday the dr told me i had a low lying placenta which was causing the bleeding which can be a result of many things. no heavy lifting, no s_x, no going up and down stairs [well i try and avoid this as much as i can]. the dr said the placenta should go up within two weeks but will need to monitor this.

Hi Jana, my Dr. explained the hematoma to me. She said it is the placenta making its attachment inside the unterus. Sometimes it forms little clots. She said these usually work themselves out. I still have some brown spotting. I know it seems kind of scary. I just keep praying and I'll pray for you too. Millie and Julie and the other ladies have been really helpful and full of information. I am so glad I found this site, it helps to read some of the past information from the other ladies. Let me know how it turns out.

Hi it's me again. I had my 2 us yesterday. The baby looks really good. I am 9 w 3d. The hematoma is still there. I just wanted to let everyone know.

Tina, My bleeding started a six weeks and the hematoma didn't actually show on ultrasound until around sixteen weeks but slowly it disappeared fromt he ultrasound and everything was fine. Hang in there. You are doing great.

HI, I just found this needed support of other women experiencing what I am going thru as well. I am 14wk 4 days and have the same brown blood. It started at week 12wk 5 days and my gyn put me on strict bed rest too. I am so glad I found this site...
