Hi ladies, time for a new post! The last was getting long. My name is EJ, I am due Oct 18th with my second. My son is turning 1 in May so we will have our hands full and can't wait! Can't wait to share this experience with all the other Oct mommies!

Hi EJ, Im glad you started a new one. I live in Colorado Springs. I love it here. Nothing new here. Im 17 weeks now. I cant wait to feel the baby move. Until then I get to be hopelessly paranoid that there is something wrong.

Hah- hopelessly paranoid. To funny! It is scary! I don't have my ultrasound or another appt for that matter until May 30th! I am relying on movement to keep me sane!!!

Hi girls, great new thread! Im ok, just having an irritable day where everythin seems to go wrong. My lower back and hips are killing me and im not getting enough sleep. Other than that im fine! Im 16wks 2days, due Oct 5th i think, but not sure as every scan i have gives a different date and im going with the one in the middle. Ive had estimates between Oct 3rd -7th so far. Plus im bigger than i should be, so i think this is either a big baby or its coming early! I feel so huge, and i feel the baby everyday. Usually just little movements and occasionally i get a big floppy fish feeling or a kick! Glad everyone else is hanging in there. My scan didnt show the s_x because the lady said it was a bit early for her to tell so we will go back at 18-19 weeks i think to see what were having! So far ive had ppl tell me its definitly a girl because i felt it early and others saying its def a boy because im big and all up front and plus ive had a lot of sickness (still feeling nausea). So either way im going to be living proof that one of those theories is wrong!!! Dont know which yet. Glad all you other mammies are ok....speak to you all soon x x x

Hi, my name is Dena. I'm due Oct 31st with our 3rd. My oldest son will be 3 on Oct 15 and second son will be 1 on July 25th. Can't wait to add to our chaos! My belly popped out at 9 weeks - enough for strangers to ask when I was due! Yikes. I have a sono on Friday, maybe we'll find out what the newest bundle will bring us. I felt two separate mounds in there last night so perhaps we'll find out there's double trouble? Well hope everyone is feeling great. It's going to be a long summer ladies. :)

That's fun Murphbabes!!! I can't wait to hear what you find out!! Double babes - would you be excited about that? nervous? Or not looking forward? I mean of course no one would be un-happy to find out there are two healthy babes of course!

MurphBabes - April 22

As long as s/he/them are strong and healthy ... bring it on! (typed with shaky hands of course, ha!)

ejmeskan - April 22

Hah! I can't wait until your u/s on Friday- let us know right away! Do you stay home right now?

MurphBabes - April 22

Will do for sure! I am fortunate to have a great job working from home. I don't know how we'd manage otherwise. Daycare isn't cheap these days.

MurphBabes - April 22

You?

ejmeskan - April 22

I do not but I work in the same town I live and have daycare in. Fortunately we pay $3.00 an hour! And it will only be $4.25 with 2. I also only work 30 hours with Friday's off so that is nice. I will bring the babe with me for about 6-8 weeks after my initial 6 weeks off!

MurphBabes - April 22

Not a bad deal at all! Do you get to sneak down for lunch if you can? We pay $36/day for our toddler. Downside of my job is I really don't get maternity leave, certainly not disability to help cover the bills. Guess everything evens out in the end, right? Has anyone felt their babies moving around yet? I started feeling it around 10W. Seems insanely early, doesnt it?

ejmeskan - April 22

You know I did when I was nursing my son and plan to do it again. It will be nice to be able to get one nursing in during lunch. That is the same with me...I left a big company with awesome beni's to come to this place so now I have no maternity leave which can get spendy but at least I only have to do 6 weeks at home and then the remaining 6-8 weeks can be done in my office...ASSUMING my little one is as calm and laid back as my son was!

ejmeskan - April 22

Oh and I felt this one at 10 weeks too...I kept trying to tell myself it wasn't possible...but a woman knows her body!

MurphBabes - April 22

Sometimes those little sacrifices are worth it, heart and soul, when it comes down to that extra time with your new baby. Glad to hear someone else started feeling movement early on. I'm tired of the old "Its just gas" response. I'm 30 years old...I think (and blush to admit) I know what gas feels like! :D

ejmeskan - April 23

Exactly...You can tell the difference! Where do you live Murphbabes?

MurphBabes - April 23

Sunny Buffalo, NY. :D You're in Colorado Springs? (LOVE IT THERE!)
