Personally I think it's mutilation! Not for my baby boy! It's completely unnecessary, unless for medical reasons like a very tight foreskin. If the Docs say it's ok there's no reason for it, then I believe em.

A friend recommends telling your son to play "crossing streams" where father and son both pee together. CIRCUMCISION IS A CHOICE EVERY PARENT NEEDS TO CHOOSE THEMSELVES. IF A BOY IS TAUGHT HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN THEMSELVES WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG THEY WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM CLEANING THEMSELVES WHEN THEY GET OLDER AND SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH INFECTIONS ETC.. KARA- TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT THE CLEANING OF A BABY BOYS PENIS. DO NOT TRY TO FORCE THE FORESKIN BACK TO CLEAN THE PENIS OF AN INFANT OR YOUNG BOY. WASHING EXTERNALLY WITH SOAP AND WATER IS ALL THAT'S NECESSARY. AFTER YOUR SON'S FORESKIN IS FULLY RETRACTABLE THEN WASHING UNDER THE FORESKIN DURING A BATH OR SHOWER IS PART OF GOOD HYGIENE HABITS. oops sorry about the caps. didnt mean to yell and i didnt notice it was on until now.

Interesting the way some of you don't have the guts to leave a name. What I meant was they don't circ_mcise as a matter of routine here. They'll only do it on request or if there is a medical condition like the foreskin being too tight, which is very painful. I'm pretty sure I won't have my son circ_msised. I'd really not like to have to put my baby through an unnecca__sary procedure, especially since his Daddy is uncirc_mcised himself. He's very clean and has never had any problems. Of course he went through a period where he felt different than other boys but they get over that. He doesn't really feel too strongly about it either way. I'd also think it's better that my son look like his Daddy. I'll probably not have it done unless the doctor gives me a good reason to do it.

P.S. With s_x, why does it matter whether a guy is circ_msised or not??? Like Foxy said above, they all look the same when they're hard. <rolls eyes> I actually think it's kinda cute uncirc_msised. But hey, to each his/her own. =)
