I think decaf any amount would be fine, since there is no caffenine in it, Green tea I know is a definate NO, not only because of the caffenine but also it has things in it that help out digestive system but is not good for a baby growing in your belly. It takes out toxins that are good for babies....or something like that. I love green and white tea so this was difficult for me to stop. Hope that helps.

Decaf coffee does have a small amount of caffeine in it however its still okat to drink in moderation. experts say that between 200 and 300mg a day is fine. I know counting Milligrams is hard lol so here are a few things to compare 200ms to: * Starbucks Grande Coffee (16 oz) 400 mg
* Starbucks House Blend Coffee (16 oz) 259 mg
* Dr. Pepper (12 oz) 37 mg
* 7 Eleven Big Gulp Diet Coke (32 oz) 124 mg
* 7 Eleven Big Gulp Coca-Cola (32 oz) 92 mg
* Ben & Jerry's Coffee Buzz Ice Cream (8 oz) 72 mg
* Baker's chocolate (1 oz) 26 mg
* Green tea (6 oz) 40 mg
* Black tea (8oz) 60 mg
* Excedrin (per capsule) 65mg
* Hot cocoa (12 oz) 8-12 mg
*Dark chocolate
(1.45 oz bar) 30 mg
*Milk chocolate
(1.55 oz bar) 11 mg
If you have a cup of decaf coffee in the morning more than likely everything will be fine. try not to stress about things to much just enjoy your pregnancy :)

oh and, an 8 oz cup of decaf will contain about 1-8 mg of caffeine. so not to much... but still some. decaf coffee is not caffeine free but still a much better alternative than regular coffee!

I drank 1 cup of coffee almost every day while pregnant with my daugther (she's going to be 4 now) and I'm doing the same with this one in my belly - i'm 20w 5d. My doctor said it's okay to have a small amount of caffeine as long as it's in moderation like Heather suggested. Also, Tasha you're correct!! NO HERBAL teas!! I do enjoy different kinds of green and black teas myself, but it's a no-no when it comes to Herbal teas and pregnat women... Regular teas are just fine. This is what I've heard and researched, but I could always be wrong.

I've a second question! I got married newly to my best friend, before and since the marriage we are fighting like hell, and both of us aren't happy in the relation, yet we enjoy each other's company!!! Now, that I'm suspecting being pregnant! I'm seriously considering not dealing with him, in order not to influence the baby; because I see no WAY to have an easy time (especially that he's not at all considerate or paying attention to seeing me tired, exhausted or nervous. Would you recommend it!

Hmmm... Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I thought "regular" tea (like Lipton) is fine to drink, but like cammomile or green, black and white teas are not.
