Doc Just Called Baby Too Large For Gestational Age

Anyone else go through this? I am currently 20 weeks. I had my ultrasound on Monday and the doc called today and said my son was measuring too large weight wise for his gestational age and when I go for my next appt, they will do another ultrasound. Anyone ever had this?

Maybe your dates are off? Did you have regular cycles?

Well the doc said that only if the babies length and weight were measuring large, the dates could be off but since it is just the weight, they will have to watch him closely.

Have you been tested for gestational diabetes? I know that can produce larger babies. What are they concerned about?

I have been tested and it came back that I did not have it!
