Maternity clothes wow I'm pretty sure I started wearing them at like 6 weeks the bloating was unbearable! I'm still very bloated..I can't tell if it's the baby or me being bloated! (of course I'd like to think it's the baby) lol..I kind of just feel in between because I never had morning sickness so sometimes I feel pregnant and sometimes I totally forget! LOL I hope thats normal!

Mami, i read about the blood tests for down syndrome and almost every pregnant woman get 5% risk if not all, regardless of age. The false positive rate is at 5% when doing the nuchal. Always. So don't worry, you are most likely fine! :)

yay tomorrow couldn't come soon enough!! I get to see my moo!! Really nervous about the Nuchal, since I've heard so many false positives.

augustmommy3 - March 16

Good luck! Hope everything is fine! :) I will get to see mine on wednesday! So anxious!

babyblue2 - March 16

Good luck ladies! I'm sure it will all go well. I heard the nuchal part of the testing is the most accurate... its the triple or quad screen that messes things up.

JMP - congrats on the great news! I am very happy that you can now relax a bit and enjoy the pregnancy! We booked our 3D u/s for April 25 and am soooo excited! We have never had one done, and our families can't wait to see the baby for the first time! Its something to look forward too! Augustmommy.. hopefully all goes well with you as well today!

babyblue- did your doctor refer you to a 3D specialists? I have an amnio scheduled next week Tuesday and then an ultrasound #2 a week after. I have been researching 2D and 3D scan and am very interested. Thanks!

JMP - March 18

M.Sosa- I'm not sure if you have to get referred but even at my 12 week and 10 week scan they did a 3D for me even with out me asking them to do it. I guess it just depends on what hospital you go to or what u/s machine they have. I never once asked for the 3D but they always did it for me! Call your doctor and ask! =)

M.Sosa - March 18

JMP- That's very interesting. First I am told that he cannot determine the s_x of my child at my 16th week appt.( told me that I have to wait until amnio results). And now this! I will have to bring it up to him. I know its not a question of insurance, so I wonder if I have to go the the hospital instead...ok thanks!

Ok, so i posted another thread, but, just want to update you and let you know it's a girl!!! :) Doctor said the spine looked fine and she was laying the way she is supposed to. She measured good for her age too and also was waving at us. I'm a little disappointed though because the doctor didn't give me any pictures. He didn't know if i wanted them, duhhh.... just cause i didn't mention that in the beginning doesn't mean i don't want them. I thought it kind of goes without asking. oh well, i'll be back in 3weeks and make sure he prints ton of them :)

M.Sosa - We are going to a private clinic to do the ultrasound. Its not for medical reasons, just for fun. They don't do 3D scans here as part of routine prenatal care. I am looking forward to it! The clinic does live webcasting, so my family can watch along! augustmommy - glad things looked good for you... sucks about the pics though. Your tech had to have been a guy!! LOL... Men are just not that sentimental! Congrats on the girl, btw!! Any names picked out yet?? My next routine ultrasound is at 32-36 weeks to check the babys growth. My PAPP-A results from my triple screen came back really low (has to do with placental function), so my OB is keeping an extra close eye on my LO to make sure he is growing ok.
