hey i found out to day that im having a girl!! i am 19 weeks 2days!

I will find out when I am 20 weeks, that's when my appt is. 19 weeks 6 days, but who's counting! We find out on Halloween!!! SO EXCITED!!!

I found out at 13 weeks and it was confirmed at 18 weeks. I think the standard is the 18-20 week Anatomy Scan unless you go for the 13 week NT scan. Good luck!

I just found out today as well, I'm 20w exactly today and we're having a little boy!

Congrats guys! I'm only 4 months. I thought you got the gender ultra sound at 5 months but I wanted to make sure. Plus, I love hearing what people are having. Hubby thinks we are having a girl, Guess we wont know until we get our next ultra sound.

I had mine done at 18 weeks. I'd go with your intuition i was right about the gender the 2nd and 3rd time. First one, i had no clue. My dh wanted another girl this time but i told him and everyone else it was a boy. Mother knows best!

I found out on Oct. 2nd. I'll be 20w 1d. I had the 13 week NT scan and nothing was mentioned about gender.

I will be finding out on October 10th and I will be 19w1d. Hoping the baby cooperates. :)

ZDo any of you think the heart beat tells you anything about the gender? People have told me that a lower heartbeat is a boy and the higher the heartbeat means a girl. When I was pregnant with my boys they were 135 and 129 most of the time. Now this baby is 152 to 157. What do you all think??

Zoey, my u/s tech said that she finds that the heartbeat is often times accurate. She said typically when she sees a faster heartbeat it ends up being a girl and when it's slower it's most often a boy but she said only if it's always faster or always slower because sometimes the baby may just have active day or be responding to something you ate or whatever. Based on that she was saying if she had to guess she thought we would have a girl, up until the time she found his p___s! lol So who knows! But good luck, I hope you get your heart's desire! :)

My ob says there is absoultely no truth to the wives tale about heartrate. Thera are no studies that show its a predictor of gender. It was actually only correct around 50% of the time so thats the same odds of just guessing based on nothing! At the beginning of this pregnancy heartrate was on the low side and it gradually increased at every appt.

My OB said the same as Newbaby's. The bpm is directly related to how far along you are. My baby's heartrate was very high in the beginning and decreased just a bit in the 2nd tri.

I found out at 20 weeks that we are having another boy. I could have sworn it would have been a girl.

Newbaby- yes, we are having a boy, which is perfect b/c we have a little girl who will be 2 when this one comes. Which are you hoping for?
