Shivana: Roman sounds so big for a baby, that's probably why people do not approve- they can't look past the time when he wont be in diapers! But Roman for a man is a very strong, commanding name (for obvious Historical reasons) and he'll probably appreciate it when all the girl find it exotic and strong when he gets older!
That's the very reason we're not sharing our name choices with anyone. We have one name for a girl and one name for a boy and, despite how much our family bugs us, we're not sharing until the baby is born, we know the s_x and, we've officially given him/her their name. That way, there is no topic for debate and we don't have people having "isn't their choice silly, too unusual, too common, etc" conversations while we're not around. Or, while we ARE around!

I originally liked CLAY AUSTIN for a boy, but my husband did not. We have finally decided on GREGORY MICHAEL for a boy, and if it is a girl, we will name her CLAIRISSA ANN

hey not too sure what were having yet but me and my b/f has picked out a few names.For a girl ..maybe...Dehlia, Tallulah (my moms name is ula), Wynter, and Shelbi. And if it shall be a boy we have...Delaney, Dallas, Major, Diesel, and Axel. Most of them names are just my b/f's ideas..but probably nothing i would use.

Merrick for a boy, and Halle for a girl. Our daughters name is Jaxen, it's hard to find names that go together.

well i just found out 2day im having a baby girl, im going to name her michelle because thats my middle name and my boyfriend is called michael and thats the opersit to michelle :)

In my first pregnancy, my husband and I decided on a name somewhere between 14-16 weeks! So when the u/s was done at 19 1/2 weeks, they were able to print her name on the picture, Olivia Leigh. Now that I'm pregnant again, we have several ideas for a girl (Katherine/Katie, Nora; not sure for middle names) and for a boy William Patrick after my grandfather who pa__sed away last January and my husbands middle name. We will call him Will.
