Well, I just wanted to let you know that I miscarried this last weekend. I started bleeding on Saturday and then on Monday it got heavier and I started cramping a bit. My Dr. told me to get a quant_tive hcg done so I did and the numbers were 6,597. I think that is a little on the low side but it is still normal. A lady that works at a hospital that my mom works at told me I could come over for a ultrasound so I did. She couldn't really find anything. She said it looked like there was just tissue. I haven't really cramped anymore and I haven't pa__sed any tissue or clots but I am still bleeding. Do you think the ultrasound could be wrong? How long till I start cramping and pa__sing the tissue? It is all confusing to me.

Kirsten, I am so sorry for your sad news. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant but my best friend had the same thing happen to her which is happening for you right now when she was 7 weeks pregnant also. She started spotting at 7.5weeks and then bled heavily at 9weeks exactly and pa__sed the tissue then. It sounds like, unfortunatly, you have lost your baby...I doubt that the ultrasound would be wrong, and if you are bleeding on top of that, it doesn't seem a good sign. I think it is just a waiting gamne for you at the moment....but...you will ahve to see your doctor/obyn again for re-a__sesment to make sure a d&c won't be needed and you have pa__sed all the tissue. I am so sorry to read your news, I know how hard it was on my friend...and it is just a very sad and emotional time. On a positive note, my best friend and I were to be due on the same day...as she lost her baby...obviously that won't happen...but she is now 7 weeks pregnant once again (10 weeks behind me) and so far all is well with her pregnancy. I hope you are ok ;-)
