I get alot of discharge but it is the normal discharge. No more spotting. I hope things are all right mcbee. I agree that the baby is more important. I was put on bed rest at 26 weeks with my son because of preterm labor and that is no fun at all. Good luck.

Mcbee, I hope everything is ok. Did your dr. tell you what the fluid could be? Were you doing anything strenuous beforehand? I really hope that you just taking it easy these past couple of days will prevent anything from happening again. You're definitely right, no job is more important than the health and safety of your baby. Ashley, I think the second trimester goes up to 27 weeks (if I remember correctly from my What to Expect when you're Expecting book). I've had heartburn but nothing that Tums hasn't helped with. With DS, I had heartburn all the time so I guess it just depends!

Mcbee--I hope everything is going okay for you and your lil peanut. I know I would totally freak out , I am SO glad you have such a good doctor to get you through. I hope your appt goes well today. And the job can get over it! I have been pretty lucky about not getting heartburn (now I have probably jinxed myself LOL). I have head headaches here and there , I chalk that up to cutting back on the caffeine. I still have a lot of watery discharge, thank goodness the light spotting stopped. I have a doc appt tomorrow, can't wait to hear the hb on the doppler. take cared mommies!

Hey girls! Mcbee - I hope your appt. goes well today and everything is fine with you and your little one! :) I would freak out too, even though I'm sure everything is fine. As for freaking out, I have to join the spotting club...I haven't spotted at all this entire pregnancy until this past Sat. Right after I went to the gym, I had a litle spotting. I called my doc today, just to make sure I shouldn't come in (especially because I'm RH -), but they said it was fine. And they agreed that it was probably the gym or that and my appt. on friday. I didn't think I overdid it, but I guess I did... I really think everything is ok, but it scared me. I haven't really had heartburn, but I've been having constipation probs. lately. It's annoying... As for my appt., on friday, it was great to hear the little one's heartbeat - love hearing that sound!! It was in the 150s yeaterday. How is everyone feeling? Hope all is well :)

Oh, Mcbee, hang in there. I hope you get some answers today. My no vomiting streak was broken last Friday. I felt like I had been hit by a truck all day, then began vomiting in the evening before supper. But, the next day, I felt fine. I too have heartburn all the time. Tums help a bit, but not always. Right now, I have a terrible head cold, sore throat, headache, stuffy nose, the works...ugh! I am a teacher, so, it is time for me to begin working in my cla__sroom again, which is always an adrenaline rush for me. I look forward to the fresh start each summer. Apparently, I am really showing. One of my husbands friends asked my how much longer I had. I just looked at him like, "Are you serious?" Men can be so, well, dumb! I am showing, but geesh! Anyway, I go to the doc. on Wed. I'll update again then!

Good news, ladies! I went to the doc today, and everything is fine. He said that sometimes the baby can kick the bladder and it can cause urine to come out or sometimes it can be - TMI here - leftover s____n if I had had intercourse recently. He looked at my cervix, listened to the hb, checked my cervix, and tested my discharge. I go back in two weeks to hopefully find out the s_x! Thanks for all the well-wishes ladies! Epigg, I used to be a teacher. I'm going to Nursing school this year instead. I'm kind of sad b/c I won't be able to do the start of the year stuff. Have fun with that!

Hi ladies how are you all today? Mcbee that's great news, I'm so happy for you that everything is ok. I've had a bad flu since Saturday & I wish I could take some of the cold & flu medicine, but the baby is more important & I can take paracetamol which does help a little with the aches & pains. For those of you who have felt the baby move, have you felt it everyday or just occasionally? I will be 16wks tomorrow & have felt faint movements since about 13wks but for the last 1/2 week haven't felt anything. With both dd & ds once I felt them move I felt them everyday from then on, but now I'm worried that something is wrong. My next app isn't until the 30th, so for the next week (or until I feel the baby again) I'm going to be stressing horribly that something has happened to the baby.

MCBEE--I am SOO glad your appt went well and all was good with your lil one! KIMMER--Sorry to hear you had a scare with the spotting, it could have been from your trip to the gym. I am sure all is well. I had my spotting stop and then BAM! yesterday at the doc's office when i was peeing in the cup I saw some really light brown on my liner (sorry tmi) and thought, at least it's a good time while I am at the doc. We listened to the hb with the doppler and all was perfect, lil peanut kept moving away from the machine, and doc said I had a great mover and that it was a really good thing the baby was so active! They told me that any spotting I might be having is from the blood that got trapped behind my placenta that they saw at my last u/s. I go next Thursday for another u/s, i will be almost 16 weeks then! E586467--I don't remember if you told us your name, do you mind me asking, it would just be easier LOL. I have consistently felt the baby since 12 weeks. felt like bubbles at first and now it feels like small somethings tapping real light on the inside of my tummy. I feel it every night when I am laying on the couch watching tv. I didn't feel it right away when I laid down last night and I started to panic, then, lil one started crawling around in there. I asked the doc about it yesterday and he told me that most women on their first pg will feel movement at 18-22 wks, but he has heard women feeling it as early as 11 weeks. But I wouldn't worry too much if you don't feel it every day. it is still too early to track movements on a daily basis. I am sure your lil one is snug in there just chilling out! Anyone else popping out there yet? My tummy is out there pretty good and it looks like I am 5 months preggers! I love it, but worry how huge it will be in the end! At my appt yesterday I had gained a total of 10 lbs. I was shocked, but doc said if I keep the same progress, it would be a gain of 30 lbs which is reasonable. I didn't like the fact of gaining a lb a week, so I asked if I could workout (had been restricted from exercise since 6 weeks), he gave me the go ahead, and I ordered a pg dvd yesterday (Denise Austin's PG workout), and will be sweating it up as soon as I get it in the mail LOL. Hope everyone else is doing great!
