LADIES----Had my u/s today...we're having a BOY!!!! It was VERY obvious that this little kicker is a boy! He was sleeping at first with his little hand on his nose, and then we riled him up to get a good look at him! I had thought they could tell at 16 weeks, and the tech said that they could tell at 15 weeks, if they got a good shot at the 'goods'. My dh was beside himself, showing everyone here at work our u/s pics (we are lucky enough to both work at the same company). Best of luck to everyone else on their upcoming u/s to find out team pink or blue! I am off to shop for lil boy things!

Hey ladies, sorry I've been missing for so long! I have my ultrasound Aug 12 and can't wait to find out the s_x - we're hoping for a girl but will be happy either way. I asked a question in the forum about round ligament pain, but got no replies...so have any of you suffered from it? If so, what was it like for you? I guess I'm concerned that what I've been experiencing could be something bad and it freaks me out(especially since I had several incidents of spotting and a light bleed earlier on in the pregnancy - no spotting or blood in the last few weeks though happily). Thanks!

Congrats on the boy Cyndi. Now you can start shopping. I can not wait to find out. I have another 2 weeks until my big ultrasound. I am feeling great. It has been 2 weeks since my last sign of morning sickness so I am happy about that. I still have a hard time eating meat for some reason. Well that is all for now. Have a great day ladies. Amanda

I am SO excited that it won't be long and all of us will know what we are having. It just makes it that much more real to finally be able to call your little one by name. BBdreams--I think I have had some round ligament pain here and there along the way. It can be a sharp pain that shoots down my leg or a pinch-like feeling on the side of my tummy. I have had some weird pain like that too sometimes when i cough, I had asked doc about it yesterday and he said it was round ligament pain. I had spotting (pale brown/tan color) too off and on lightly around 12 weeks..so PLEASE do not worry. AMANDA--YAY on the no more morning sickness!!! Anyone else feeling their little one? I can't wait for my dh to be able to feel our little man kicking away in there!

Hey ladies! I can't wait to feel the baby move(I'm 16 weeks 4 days today) but I have no idea what to feel for since it's my first pregnancy!

jeni23 - August 2

I hear ya ladys on the cant wait to feel my bean move, since this is #4 for me I thought id feel em by now but nope, how is everyone feeling today?

I think the baby heard me telling the midwife my concerns over the lack of movement, because ever since my appointment on Wednesday I have been feeling lots of little prods :) I had a long relaxing bath the other night resting my hands on my tummy & then suddenly felt a little bump under my hand. I was soooooo excited & have felt more movements like that since, so I guess whatever position s/he was in before when I couldn't feel much has changed. Maybe all the movement from the midwife palpating my womb helped.

Hey girls! Just wanted to say hi. I'm 16.5 weeks, and feeling good. I still think I feel the baby moving around sometimes at night after I eat...E5 - that's great! Can't wait til I feel real kicks. :)Cyndilea - congrats on finding out it's a boy! What's your name if you have one picked out? Are you girls showing? Especially those that are in their first pregnancy? I'm not, just have a pouch at this point...but I'm sure the bellyw ill come soon :)

Hello Lovely ladies! Hope all is going well. It is so nice to hear that more mamas are feeling their little ones in there! BBDREAMS--Hang in there, you should feel the little flutters soon. These early movements are so subtle. This is my first too, but I guess I am in tune with my body? I can't wait to feel a good strong kick or a jab! And I am sure at the end of the 9 months, it won't be as cute as in the beginning...LOL. MCBEE--Hope all is well at your u/s today..maybe you will find out pink or blue...how exciting! KIMMER--YAY on feeling your bean! I usually feel my lil one after eating lunch and dinner..I kind of freak out if I don't! I am starting to show a bit, I jad a pooch before pg, now it is poochier and harder? It isn't soft and flabby (ha ha), but feels really tight and stretched? I can't hide it, so I just go with it! The baby weighed in at 5 oz last Thursday! My pg book I am reading said that at 16 weeks the average weight was 2 1/2 oz...My doc didn't say the baby was overly big, but GOODNESS..maybe that is why I am showing so much? We are going to name this little man: Kellen Alexander. it is a different name, it is Celtic, and hubby is Scottish and I am Irish, so it kind of covers both of us. Can't wait ot hear all of the updates on the upcoming u/s's! Take Care!+++Cyndi+++

IT'S A BOY! We went for our u/s today and it was pretty dang clear that we have a little guy in there. She told us not to go and paint the nursery blue yet, but she said she was pretty sure. We are so excited! My husband is on cloud nine!

Talk about baby brains lol. Cyndi congrats on finding out your having a boy, better late than never sorry. Mcbee congrats on finding out your having a boy too. Kimmer23 they can sometime be wrong when they think it's a girl (although for me they were right) as the p___s can sometimes hide, but it is pretty accurate if they say it's a boy. Am I the only one not finding out? This is #3 for us & as we already have a girl & boy would really like a delivery surprise. It's funny the bets are already on for what it will be & how much it will weigh. dd was 7lb 9oz & ds was 9lb 3oz so I'm secretly hoping for another girl as I'm afraid if it's a boy he be HUGE lol. I've had a headache all day, but apart from that it has been good as bubs has been quite active & I love feeling him/her move (though I'm sure I'll be complaining of HOW much s/he moves by the end of the 3rd tri.)

Ok I'm sick of trying to remember with these baby brains so I've decided to write it down. Can everyone please tell me what their due date is, what their having if they know, & what # this will be. My DD is 8th Jan, this is #3, & we're not finding out the s_x.

Kimmer23 - August 5

E5 - that's a great idea!! I never remeber anyone's DD either. My DD is Jan. 16th. This is #1 for me, and we are going to find out the gender, but not until 20 weeks or Aug. 28th. Mcbee - congrats on a little boy!! That's great! Since this is my first, I don't think I really have a preference either way...just healthy. But, I do kinda think I'm having a girl. cyndi - the email I get weekly says that the baby's weight is typically about 3.5 ounces at 16 weeks, but 5 ounces at 17 (there is apparently a growth spurt around now). So, I don't think your little one is overly big :) How is everyone else?

austynsmommy - August 5

My due date is jan 7th. I still dont know what I'm having. I get to find out on the 18th.
