LOL... kids are too funny!! My DD has finally decided to sleep through the night again. The last 2 nights I have finally managed some good sleep (although I am still finding it hard to get up at 6am for work). She has been going to bed much later though (used to be 8:30ish and now its after 10)... but I won't complain... for now! It kinda takes away from the only time me and my hubby have alone. Hopefully everything will be back on track soon! Feeling any better today??

I do feel better, but I still have the bad cough. It hurts so much when I cough, it feels like I'm coughing up a lung. Everything has been good with the baby though, I was taking medicine for my cold, so I think the medicine was making her sleep more because I didn't feel her as much. I'm now feeling her all of the time again.

Can I tell you how absolutely HUGE I feel today!! LOL.. sigh. My father-in-law is in the hospital right now, so DH and the kids and I went to see him last night. By the end of the night I was WADDLING!! Its ridiculous! I don't think I am far enough along to be doing that!! LOL. My belly seems to have popped again, and I think I have put on about 3lbs in the last wek or so. That, along with having a really sore lower back, is making me feel a little miserable at the moment. I think I will be looking into pregnancy ma__sage in the next few weeks (once I talk to my OB about it first). My work insurance covers it, so that makes it an easy decision. I have never had one though... hopefully it actually works!

IsabellasMommy - April 1

I have been waddling for a week or so and it's getting worse because my hip has been hurting. I'm not sure exactly why it hurts, might be my hips spreading apart or the baby laying really low...who knows really?! I go to my doctor next week and I'll talk to her about it then if it doesn't get any better. I'm sorry that you're lower back has been hurting, I hope that the ma__sage helps if you get it. Where are the rest of the July mommys?

babyblue2 - April 2

We seem to be carrying this thread all alone! LOL Your hip is acting up again? Or has it been bothering you all this time? As soon as I talk to my OB and get the green light, I will start looking into the ma__sage. My back felt better yesterday... but it could have been just because I had such a bad headache from the rain and the change in temp, that I didn't notice my back as much!! Pregnancy is turning me into a hypochondriac!! LOL I was so excited when I looked on the Air Miles website and found the b___st feeding pillow I love on the rewards list. I had enough points, so I ordered it right away! (didn't get to pick the pattern... but who cares!). My sister had lent me hers for DD2, but the cat decided to pee all over it when I went to pack it away, that I had to throw it out. ICK! Anyway... glad I could save a little money this way, rather than having to drop $50 on it at Toys R Us. Its the My Breast Friend pillow... I love it! Much more comfy and easier to manage than some of the others I tried out. Now I just have to hope that this little guy will actually b___stfeed!

Yeah, my hip is acting up again. It quit for a week or so and now it's hurting more now than before and it's in a completely different place. Last time it was toward my back, but now it's in the front which is why I think it might just be the way the baby is laying or something. Everybody keeps telling me to lay down, but that doesn't seem to help much because it puts more pressure on it.

Hi Ladies, I have been lurking now and then, not much to talk about unitl now... also my comp was on the fritz for a couple weeks! Felt baby kick from the outside last night for the first time! I know I could have felt her earlier but she stopped moving every time i tried to feel her!!!! It was cool but my dh is out of town and won't get to feel until tomorrow! My Left hip has been bothering me for the past two weeks too... One really good stretch is to sit in a chair (or on the toilet because it is lower) put one foot across your knee, keep your back really straight and lean forward you should feel it in your b___t/hip. It has been my saving grace along with a good b___t ma__sage from dh. :) I have been seeing a chiropractor since before i got pregnant and it is sooooo great during pregnancy! Also I get a ma__sage at his office every two weeks.... it really does help... they just stay away from rubbing my ankles and they don't do SUPER deep tissue because it releases toxins and can make you feel even more achy.... So I say go for it!

IsabellasMommy - April 5

Nice to hear that things have been well with you Andesue. I would try to do the stretch that you said, but I can't lift my leg up on the other one like that because it hurts too much to even TRY to lift it. Once I have it up there (I have to pull it up and it HURTS!!!) but once it's up, it pulls too much. I'm not sure if I've pulled a muscle or something, just waiting till Wednesday to tell my doctor. I know what you mean about trying to feel the baby kick from the outside and her stopping moving. Like she knows you're trying to feel and says "no way mommy, not today"...lol Mine does that all of the time. I will feel her moving and will put my hand down to feel her and she quits...and it takes me about 20 minutes to feel her and then it's the light movements again. I have been feeling her a lot higher though...I'm not sure exactly where the top of my uterus is at this point, but I know she's definately above my belly b___ton...I've felt her right below my ribs...about an inch lower and I'm not sure if that's "normal" for me being 23 weeks and 3 days. My daughter told me yesterday that it was July 1st...I laughed and was like "I wish baby girl, I wish." She was so serious about it and it was so cute for her to say that. This pregnancy is so much different than hers, hers was perfect no problems at all...this one it's like everything that can happen...is happening. I think I'm getting another UTI. I hate it.

I stayed in bed most of the day because my hip was hurting, I looked online at a plus size pregnancy site and it gave me something to talk to my doctor about. The pelvic pain it talks about is called Symphysis Pubis Dsyfunction and all of the little problems I'm having with my hip is on there. If you ladies want to know, the site that I looked at is plus - size - pregnancy dot org I go to my doctor on Wednesday and can't wait, they'll schedule my next U/S so they can check the placenta and get more pictures of the babys heart.

Andesue - glad to hear you are finally feeling your baby! Mine seems to like to tease me too... He kicks up a storm, and as soon as I or anyone tries to put our hand on the belly, he stops moving! Little bug! How have you been feeling otherwise? Seems we all seem to be having hip pain! Mine is not too bad.... it comes and goes. The worst is when it rains, and first thing in the morning when my whole body is stiff. Whats worse for me, is leg cramps at night. Some nights I can't sleep because of it, no matter how much I try to stretch them out. Isabellasmommy - hope your doc appointment goes well. Mine is next week. I am afraid to step on the scale, since I think I have actually had my first 'growth spurt' and put on at least 6 pounds since my last visit. Sigh... I am also planning to ask about the ma__sage appointments. I can then get a letter from the doc, so that my insurance from work will cover the sessions. Looking forward to some pampering and pain relief. Right now, things are really stressful at home, with my Father in law being hospitalized. I am actually looking forward to Easter and having a long weekend off with DH.

Everytime that I think I have gained a lot of weigh just by looking at myself, I've not gained anything...now I don't think I've gained much and I bet that when I go in tomorrow I've gained a lot of weight in a month. LOL My appointments will go to every 2 weeks instead of every 4 soon. I'm almost 24 weeks and they start the every 2 weeks at 26-28 weeks...so I'm not sure if they will do my next appointment in 2 weeks or if it will be a month. We saw and felt the baby kick again last night, my boyfriend loves watching my stomach now. He talked to her a little bit, he told me that seeing and feeling her kick makes it more real for him. I can't wait to go to my appointment tomorrow, I know that I'll be tired, but I just want to find out exactly why my hip is hurting like it is. I did get to talk to an Enrollment Rep for online college courses. 2 hours on the phone today and then more on Thursday. We are going to do financial aid stuff on Thursday so it gives me a chance to find my 2007 tax papers, which I have NO idea where they are, I've moved 2 times since then. But the good news, I will be able to start cla__ses on May 4th.

babyblue2 - April 8

Its is the same where I am... I will begin going every 2 weeks from 26 weeks on. I will only be 25 weeks and a bit when I see my OB next week, so they will probably still schedule my next appointment in a months time. Have you gone for your glucose screen yet? We don't get ours done here until about 27 weeks, and we have to do them at the hospital. I will be going for mine on April 23rd. I also have my Rhogam shot coming up later this month. All of a sudden, it feels like this pregnancy is moving along much quicker. My little guy is still not much of a mover, in the sense that we still can't 'see' the movements. I am wondering if this still has to be due to the anterior placenta, since I certainly feel him moving quite a bit. I guess there is still lots of time! So what courses are you planning to take? I did a few of them a few years back, and found it difficult to find the time to do my lessons. I was able to do a lot at work on one of the courses (the office I worked in got really quiet at times), but with the second, they had live chat forums that you HAD to attend. Those were hard to schedule in when I had 2 DCs trying to get my attention! Best of luck with that! So when does our third trimester officially begin?? I know we are getting close, but depending on which website you go on, its anywhere from 27 to 29 weeks. Soon we will get to move our thread over!

IsabellasMommy - April 8

My appointment today went great! I gained 1 1/2 pounds in a month, doc said it was great. Blood pressure was good and when she measured me, I measured on track. The baby kept moving when she tried to hear the heartbeat, it took about 5 minutes for the baby to be still long enough for her to listen. LOL She said to me "Good luck, this one is a mover." We did set up my next appointment, next U/s, glucose testing, and my rhogam shot ALL for 4/29...busy day for me. They also scheduled my c-section for 7/21, 9 days before my due date!!! I'm excited about it and can't wait. Of course I have to take basic courses, but I want to get my a__sociates in Human Services. If I keep up with the work and do everything on time, I'll have my degree in about 2 years. I have always said that the third trimester starts at week 27, and I'm 23 weeks 6 days which would mean that anybody due the beginning of July is in the third trimester already.

babyblue2 - April 9

Glad to hear your appointment went well! The 29th will definitely be a busy day for you! Its nice that your C-section date has been booked... kinda gives you a real date to shoot for! I am hoping this baby doesn't make me wait past my due date! My older son was 8 days late! What I am really looking forward to right now is my 3D ultrasound on the 25th. It will be webcast so my family can watch as well! Will be cool to compare the photos to what he looks like when he is finally born. Anyway... hopefully my doc appointment goes well. This will be the first time she measures me, so I am a little anxious... having possible placenta issues and all.

IsabellasMommy - April 9

I can't believe that in 14 weeks and 5 days that I'll have my little girl. It doesn't seem like enough time to get ready, we have very little for her right now and I'm still pretty lost on what exactly we still need to buy. lol I really do wish that it was July already. Hopefully your baby won't make you wait after your due date, maybe he'll come a little early.

andesue - April 11

wow, you are so lucky you know exactly the day! I am due the 25th, but am hoping for more like the 14th... :) My mom had big babies and I am really hoping I don't... they are not considered pre-term as long as you are past 37 weeks so I say, why not go for two weeks early, baby is totally ready and developed, just not huge! :) I'll be happy whatever as long as she is healthy, just hoping for a "not-too-bad" deliver! :)
