WOW... I don't envy you ladies with your UTIs. I have only had a couple in my life (and never when pg) and they were no fun at all! Hopefully you will get it all sorted out soon! I know what you mean about popping! LOL... my DH took one look at me a few days ago and gasped! LOL... We do tummy photos monthly, and when you compare the pic from 2 months to the 3 month pic... what a difference! I look 5 months along! And its not my imagination either! I keep pg journals with each baby, and it includes tummy measurements. Well... I am as big now as I was with DD2 at 24 weeks! LOL. I try not to think of what I will look like in a few months!

I know exactly what you mean about being as big now as you were toward the middle or end of a previous pregnancy. My mom and sister saw me everyday with my previous pregnancy and they know how big I got with that one, it's all new to my boyfriend and he keeps asking how big I think I'll get. Last night he asked how big my uterus was to begin with because I showed him where the top is. It's nice that he's asking questions, my daughters father didn't care enough to ask anything. At 14 weeks, is it normal to feel the top of the uterus at your belly b___ton? LOL

I had a UTI at 8 weeks, and it caused me to spot all that week, I was terrified. Everyhting was ok though. Not fun. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat twice last night withthe doppler I rented. It is soooooo awesome to hear it whenever you want. At 16 weeks my uterus was measuring just to my belly b___ton, but i feel as if I am growing everyday now. I am 17w3d today. I want to feel the little one move around, can't wait.

I can't wait until my 20 week ultrasound and then can't wait to 'complain' because the baby is pushing into my ribs and then whenever I'm almost due and the baby has no room to really move...to complain because it feels like the baby is trying to tear it's way out of my stomach. LOL

babyblue2 - January 30

LOL... Isabellasmommmy those are some interesting milestones you got there! :) My next doc appointment is on the 9th, so I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again. After that... my U/S is scheduled for March 4th. Until then... I am hoping to feel the baby move. Its funny... I keep dreaming that I am feeling the movements, and then wake up all disappointed to realize its only a dream! LOL! I am also waiting for this awful nausea to pa__s... sigh. It has gotten much better, but is still with me for most of the day. I gag for no reason, I gag before during and after meals... ick! I notice that my fatigue is finally starting to go away though... which is nice. went to the gym for the first time since November and spent 45mins on the treadmill! Also did an aquafit cla__s this week. Even though I have only gained 1lb so far, I feel so big, so the working out helps! LOL

IsabellasMommy - January 31

Those are the big things I can't wait for...lol I can't wait till the ultrasound around 20 weeks and really can't wait till my boyfriend can feel the baby, can't wait until the third trimester...I can't wait for anything. I just wish it was July already. I can tell that I'm going to drive my doctor crazy with this pregnancy because I'm so impatient. Babyblue, when are you due? I'm lucky to remember when I'm due...lol I think you're like a week or so ahead of me, but not sure. I can't believe your ultrasound is already scheduled, I have an appointment on Feb 11, but no appointment yet for my ultrasound. I'm hoping they will schedule it at my appointment. I keep listening to the baby with my doppler and the heartbeat is always different...it goes anywhere from 128 to 151...it's normally under 150, but I'm not getting right on top of it either. It's like theres something between the baby and the doppler (besides my body...lol)...maybe the baby is just hiding kind of low...maybe behind the scar tissue from my c-section a few years ago? My doc did say that the scar tissue could prevent the heartbeat from being heard clearly...so we'll see.

Isabellasmommy - I'm due July 26... I'm 15 weeks today. I know what you mean about being impatient! I am still waiting for the morning sickness and sinus headaches to go away. I blame it on the cold! When I had DD2 in 2007, I had to register at the hospital, and the Maternal/Child services would book all appointments for U/S, diabetes screening, etc. This time around, I was told we now have to book everything on our own. That is why I have my U/S apt. already. I was at the hospital to do bloodwork for the IPS, so I booked everything! My OB also called and I see her for the first time March 19th. I am looking forward to learning the s_x of the baby... since me and DH always have a hard time picking names... especially boys names!

IsabellasMommy - February 1

So, you're only 4 days ahead of me...I knew that it wasn't far. My morning sickness is gone but I'm still dealing with being tired all of the time. I woke up this morning and my throat was really sore, so I think I might be getting a cold. That's exactly what I need right now....not really but ohh well. If I get sick, I'll just call my doc and see what I can take for it. I've been really stressed lately, over everything. I've always been VERY emotional, crying for no reason except to cry.

andesue - February 2

Isabellasmommy, does that mean you are due July 30th?? that's my anniversary! :) I'm due July 25th. I also have my 20 week u/s visit scheduled, for march 5th which will also be my first apt with my OB. I'm excited. :) I've been seeing a midwife thus far and her practice mostly focuses on regular ob checkups and fertility so she doesn't do labor and delivery. I've been reluctant to give her up, though, I love her! I'm glad to hear someone else isn't seeing their ob until later too, I was starting to feel kinda wierd about not seeing him until 20 weeks!

babyblue2 - February 2

Hi andesue... yep.. thats the way it is at the hospital where I will give birth. Our OB's dont see us until 20 weeks. We have a primary OB, but belong to a group of 7 OB's. They try to schedule your apts. with your primary, but you can see the others as well. Then, when its time to deliver, you get whomever is on call. Not the greatest set-up, but it really doesn't bother me. With my 1st, I had a GP take care of me the entire pg. But due to complications with the birth, I ended up having an OB deliver me rather than my GP. In all honesty, you are way to busy trying to have your baby to really care who is there to 'catch'!! Isabellamommy - lucky you that your morning sickness is gone. I'm hoping a few more weeks. Its nowhere near as bad, but I am still having problems with the liquids. Some days are better than others, so I am hoping those good days will soon take over from the bad ones!!

Thanks IsabellasMommy, actually the appointment with my new doc went really well. He listened and took more time than my previous doctor. I got to hear the heartbeat and go on the 5th for an ultrasound. I am due on the 23rd. Hope you aren't getting sick:( I just got over the flu! Babyblue- yep, thought i was over my morning (all day) sickness but i just can't seem to shake it either. my appet_te is terrible. i don't think i have gained any noticeable weight yet! kinda worries me but i know it'll pa__s. hope you start feeling better too.

IsabellasMommy - February 2

I'm due on July 30. If I'm not mistaken I think all of us are due pretty much within days of each other. Kesha, I'm glad to hear that the appointment went well and that you're ultrasound is scheduled already. My appet_te isn't the greatest, but I don't get sick, which is good...I'm just not hungry. I had the same problem with my daughter, nobody would believe that I was pregnant if they saw me eat...lol I've also been craving lemonade, nothing else so far, just lemonade. Anybody else having cravings already? My boyfriend had his hand on my stomach when the baby was moving and he said that he felt a rolling feeling. I'm thinking it's too early to feel the baby outside, but if the baby was right by the wall, could it be possible?

amylea22 - February 3

I am 18w1d today!!!! Due July 6th!!! I find out what our little one is on Valentines day coming soon, can't wait.

IsabellasMommy - February 3

18 weeks...congrats amylea. I can't wait to get to that point, but I still have about 3 weeks. Let us know if you're having a boy or a girl. My hip is still hurting and it's putting pressure on my lower back. I've also been dealing with really sore nipples, not the entire b___st. I've been leaking and it's bothering me, but I'm thinking that's why my nipples hurt. This pregnancy is so different than my daughter. I've done a lot of gender predictors and they all say boy...we're hoping it's right. For those that have a boy and a girl, were the pregnancies different?

IsabellasMommy - February 4

I was talking to my grandma about this baby and she said that even though I'm not due until July 30, I will have the baby by July 21. When I asked her how she knew, she said that you go by the phases of the moon, just like they did in the old days. She also told me that I'm having a boy. Now, I'm normally really skeptical about things like this, but she told me with my first pregnancy that I was having a girl and she would be born before September 18 and I had a GIRL on September 16. I can't wait to find out if my grandma is right about this one. Just wishing it was time for my US already.
