Hi everyone. Busy couple of days, phew. Taking a breather today. I am so looking forward to my u/s on Wednesday. My dh threw me for a loop and told me that now he wants to find out if it's a boy or girl! I'm dying to know as well, but had resigned myself to waiting until DD. I'm also getting ready to start putting the nursery in order, so I'm just gonna concentrate on that. First I'm just going to go pull all of the stored baby items out of the attic and inventory what I have. I'm really looking forward to that!

hey Ladies - glad to see a few of you logged on - I know our thread slows down on the weekend..... Pepper - welcome! my name is Tina I am due July 2nd expecting a girl and I have 2 boys now ages 8 and 4. Amy - so do you think you could stand it if you dh knew and you didn't ??? I am going to go look at stuff after my 26 week ultrasound then I will feel confident that I am really having a girl. Today is windy as heck and in the high 50's ick - I had to run a few errands and I ran them and came right back home. I am hungry for something but everything I have tried so far isn't really hitting the spot - so the search continues

Hi Amy and Tina! Welcome Pepper! My name is Stefanie and I'm 22 weeks 2 days with a girl as well :) This is my first baby too and I am 32 years old. Whew...long day....I went to Target and "planned" to finish the registry but only got a few things on there. Then I got distracted by all this other stuff that wasn't on the list and started adding all kinds of c___p, lol! It's fun though. I figure I'll register for everything I could possibly need and then decide after the shower what I want to buy of what is left...I can always return/exchange, etc. I'm sure. A friend just gave me a big bag of baby girl clothes and onesies so I am going through that tonight and will put it in the pile I have going. I'm getting so excited, yet it still seems so far away...

Glad to hear it must be normal if others have it though. :) Welcome Pepper - I'm Heather- 27 yrs. old and due July 4th. Hello everyone!! Kendra - sounds like your nursery is going to be gorgeous! I am doing great - my parents want to take me and my family to Disneyland before they move away. Amy, I'm so excited to hear pink or blue from you on Wed!!! How fun, another u/s! Who else is still waiting to find out by u/s? KENDRA, I'm not sure about your friend, but 210 does sound awfully high. Normally I would think the dr. would check the hr for a while to see if it goes down because even at 11 weeks it should be slower. I think peak h/r is around 8-9 weeks from what the specialist told me (the one I saw for the first 14 weeks). After 12 or 15 weeks (can't remember which) if the heartbeat is over 180 consistently it needs to be reported to the dr as it shows baby in distress. Why did her doctor not do an u/s if she is spotting? They normally want to find out where the blood is coming from especially being 11 weeks. It could be nothing, but it could also be something. If he just did a doppler check that's kind of negligent I think. I don't know...I remember my first doppler I got said in the instructions that if you get readings over 200 it is the mothers heartbeat because it picks it up and doubles it or something--I sent that doppler back so I don't have the instructions that explained it anymore! Sorry :( Just tell her to see if she can get in for a scan...Hillary, I'm finally getting to see the kicks and loving it everyday! I went to my acupuncturist today and she felt a big ol one! She started laughing so hard. It was very cool. I also got a BH contraction while I was laying on the table and I told her to feel it really quick and she caught the whole thing! I've never had anyone around to feel it when it happens so that was verycool too. Well, I ate a steak and veggies and pasta for lunch so I am feeling sleeeeepy.....be back later....
