Amy, I'm so excited to hear pink or blue from you on Wed!!! How fun, another u/s! Who else is still waiting to find out by u/s? KENDRA, I'm not sure about your friend, but 210 does sound awfully high. Normally I would think the dr. would check the hr for a while to see if it goes down because even at 11 weeks it should be slower. I think peak h/r is around 8-9 weeks from what the specialist told me (the one I saw for the first 14 weeks). After 12 or 15 weeks (can't remember which) if the heartbeat is over 180 consistently it needs to be reported to the dr as it shows baby in distress. Why did her doctor not do an u/s if she is spotting? They normally want to find out where the blood is coming from especially being 11 weeks. It could be nothing, but it could also be something. If he just did a doppler check that's kind of negligent I think. I don't know...I remember my first doppler I got said in the instructions that if you get readings over 200 it is the mothers heartbeat because it picks it up and doubles it or something--I sent that doppler back so I don't have the instructions that explained it anymore! Sorry :( Just tell her to see if she can get in for a scan...Hillary, I'm finally getting to see the kicks and loving it everyday! I went to my acupuncturist today and she felt a big ol one! She started laughing so hard. It was very cool. I also got a BH contraction while I was laying on the table and I told her to feel it really quick and she caught the whole thing! I've never had anyone around to feel it when it happens so that was verycool too. Well, I ate a steak and veggies and pasta for lunch so I am feeling sleeeeepy.....be back later....

Hi everyone. well cors1wfe if your 3 weeks away from your third trimester then so am i. seeing as im only two days behind you. that thought is kinda scary to me!!! its only that much closer to the BIG DAY!!!! im so excited. but scared at the same time. i hope everyone had a great weekend. i ended up getting this cold that wont go away. my hubby never gets sick and he had 102.2 temp friday night. i feel really bad for him.

Hello everyone! I wanted to tell you that if we find out anything at our u/s on Wed only you will be the ones to know the results besides my husband and myself!!! Ta-da! We want to keep it a secret from everyone else in our lives so we can announce it on the big day, so we won't even be mentioning that we found out. I'm going to be so excited to share with you all. :-D So, today I was trying to do some housework. It's so warm here today, 62 & sunny. I have all the doors open and the upstairs windows open to air out the house, it's supposed to get cool again this week. It tackled the rugs, the floors and the dusting. It looks much cleaner here now, lol. I have been terrible with housework & now I'm paying for it. We have extremely limited storage space here at home, and I have left piles all over until I decide "what to do" with things. Papers, books, misc toys, outgrown clothing, etc. It's a mess. I have to get my house in order, it drags me down mentally to see it like this and I want to be organized like I usually am. How's everyone feeling? I've been feeling a lot more movement and kicks lately. I felt a real, solid kick today and I laughed out loud and said "Hi Baby!" and then I just started crying, just super-happy tears. We'd had 2 miscarriages in the last year and it's so great to be where we are right now. Stefkay, how exciting to share those kicks with others! I loved how you could watch your belly movement from your lo squirming and swimming around! I remember being in the 3rd trimester and distinctly feeling and SEEING the baby's feet through my belly! It's an awesome feeling. Kendra, heatherjene your nurseries sound so adorable, isn't it fun getting all the things ready for the baby, it helps pa__s the time, it feels like forever to get thru 40 weeks! Heather, I saw the cutest baby nursery in a magazine done in a frog pond theme, what a great idea, I haven't seen that a lot, you'll have to post pictures! Tina, how cool to go to Disneyland, we haven't taken our kids yet, we would prob go to Florida's Disney World though, much closer for us. Although we really do want to get out to Cali for a vacation soon. Our 8 yo is into LEGOS big time, we have to take him to Legoland! I think I might have dh cook on the grill tonight, it's warm enough, and I am feeling spring fever with the temp today! Check back in later, bye!

LOL. I just read my post, and what is with all the exclamation points? I'm obviously in a good mood today, right, lol. I sound a bit giddy, all this sunshine is curing my winter blues, I guess.

Amy, send some of that sunshine here! lol...it was 77 and sunny yesterday and right now it is SNOWING :( talk about winter blues.....

kendra-marie... i had the same thing your friend has. the brownish discharge. my dr asked me if i had intercourse in the last 24-48 hrs. yeah i did. he said that when you do it breaks little vessles inside. but it not bad, or harmful. as long as it stays a brownish color. if its bright red she really needs to go to the dr. i hope that is helpful

Heatherjean... how cool u and i are due on the same day:) my dr said the other day he may induce me though. im having insurance problems. but its still cool that we are due on the same day

Kolleen, I'm due the 4th too, but i think I'll be induced early...girls, quick question for anyone who has b___st fed...I'm about done with my registry but I was totally and completely lost when looking at all of the b___stfeeding accessories. I am getting a super nice pump from a friend but I need all the rest of the stuff. What brand and what items do you suggest? At Target there was Medela, Lansinoh and Gerber I think? I have no idea which brand to choose for the registry and then when I choose that what do I need? Pads, cream and milk storage is all I have down but there was SO MUCH stuff in the display....Thank you!

Kolleen - that is cool being due on the same day. At least if you are getting induced you will have one less day of HOT miserable weather. :) My only nephew was born on the 4th of July also- so I guess it's the only time me & my brother can have kids!! I don't know about you ladies - but I am so anxious to see what the baby will look like. I always thought it was so cool how a child can take on so many different traits from both parents, or not look like either one at all. It's got my curiosity and can't wait to see. The one thing I hope lo gets are my bright blue eyes, Tom has dark eyes, so who knows? Stef - I'm trying to find out about b___stfeeding as well - I have 2 friends doing it right now. One actually b___stfeeds and the other one just pumps then feeds with a bottle. I will let you know as I find out more though.

heather that is the confusing part for me...I want to b___stfeed, but I've also registered for all the bottle stuff to pump and store the milk in case I can't always be there to bf. I figure in the first month or so I will be, but I'm betting it is more convenient to be able to pump it and bottle feed at a later point (I have no idea when though)...

Yeah Stef I'd think it would be easier to pump and bottle feed later too - I do know that you have to get baby used to feeding from the b___st first because it is harder to suck from it than a bottle, and they get "lazy" when they realize they don't have to work so hard. Also another convenience of pumping to feed from a bottle later on is that then you can add cereal to the milk - because I know alot of babies are still hungry from only eating milk and don't sleep like they should. It's definitely gonna be an experience for me! lol

Hi ladies so i asked a question yesterday because i was having a pain in both of my b___tcheeks sometimes just one or the other. It is like i was hitting a nerve or pulling something. I found out the baby i guess is on my SCIATIC NERVE. it can go from your upper hips to b___t to legs. i had never even heard of this before. Just wanted to let you all know

stef- sry so long to respond. shes not spotting; shes got that brown discharge like when u end your period& her dr said its like that because you ultrasound u had. she had an ultrasound 3 weeks ago and they didn't see the baby at all. which isn't right but her hcg levels are producing higher & higher so im not sure; maybe they seen the baby & she didn't. well she had an ovarian cyst & thats when they told her she was pregnant. also i thought that was way to high too; her doctors not worried tho which makes me worry alot. =[ i know that she didnt plan her pregnancy & is in horrible situation with this baby & all;; but i know how shes kind of looking forward to this now also but i don't think she will carry this baby (i have a feeling shes losing the baby but im not 100% sure.) i was reading & what i found said 120-190 is normal; abnormalities is lower or higher & that could be baby is getting little or too much oxygen but her doctor didn't look into it which makes me worry alot!!! well next wednesday she has her 12 week appt; they might do one then? but thats a great point maybe it is her hb they are catching (i think shes lost or is losing the baby but i dont want to tell her that; you know/) as for the bf goes; i tried with kelsey & i couldnt get her to latch while in the hospital she did as home; but she got so very very impatient i couldn't get her to latch so i had to pump i pumped for like 3 months; then went to formula. KOLLEN- she hasnt had s_x since she found out shes pregnant which was jan 9th (they estimated her to be 1-2 weeks then by her blood which really isnt that accurate way to determine ur due date)

we should make a piczo for us. julymommies && everyone put a bump photo iup & all that would be kewl;. like everyone have there own page on there. write who they are, how old, & when they are due. if they know what they are having & a belly photo that would be kewl lol. stef i got on urs no new bump photos? u need some lol my new one is up also.

STEF - all of the nicer pumps are pretty comparable from what I found - I was able to rent a pump from the hospital for $15 a month - I totally recommend getting some Lasinoh ointment for your nipples and start applying at 36 weeks - it will keep your nipples from drying out and it's safe to use while you are nursing it doesn't hurt your little one at all. I had to use it last time because my nipples got sore and cracked because he latched on wrong and I didn't know it.....I wasn't on last night got home late cooked dinner choked my husband out .... you know the usual. Sometimes - I would be perfectly happy if he could live somewhere else and just keep sending me the paycheck...LOL DENDRA- I think that is a great idea for a piczo page for us all.....so fun - I am taking another bump photos at 24 weeks - well gotta get to work ladies.

TINA, I got the same advice on the Lasinoh from others so I think I'll go that route for pads and cream, etc. I still don't know what kind of pump I'm getting yet but hopefully will find out soon. Oh gosh Kendra I can't wait to put up another photo--it's been since 18 weeks I think! I'm almost 23 weeks and totally feel huge! Still haven't gotten the new camera yet, but I just got paid and hopefully will get the d__n thing this week. I want to get another pic up before or by 24 weeks! I don't think I've had a decent photo since 15 or 16 weeks either so this should be interesting, lol.
