I am not going to register until later- being this is my third I am leaning toward a meet the baby shower and having it after she is born. Since my mom will be here for a few weeks after Megan arrives I want to have it while she is here. My best friend is being a little difficult about it she wants to do a traditional shower and I said - too bad this is the way I want it.

stef- shoot i know about the d__n midwest it snowed 2 inches here yesterday agian wtf? its liek spring hello where the hell is all this nice weather & how weird is it that easter is in MARCH this year? pretty werid lol.

I know, kendra! It sucks, right??? You are in Iowa aren't you? I'm in Missouri. It's GOT to get better within a month though...at least some! MARI, I started my registry at Target after my 20 week appt. but we haven't put much of anything on it yet. Just got it started and I finally made a llist and we are going to go finish it up hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I'll probably add and delete things as we go along. I'm having 3 showers (family out of town, then one for friends and then a coworkers type one)....It's not my choice as these people all came to me asking if they could do one so I said, hell yeah! LOL ;) I don't have anything at all so I need whatever I can get. Oh, well I did get the crib and changing table and a couple of outfits, but that's it.

Tina, I LOVE the idea of a meet the baby shower! I'd rather do that, but I guess since this is my first I'll go the other route and maybe if I have more do it that way. CAT & KOLLEEN, I had to giggle when I read what you said about the movement and noone else feeling it. FINALLY in the past couple of days Jessie has been able to feel it pretty consistently, but at the same time when I tell him to put his hand on my belly he says "ok, now she'll stop kicking just watch" and sure enough she calms down! agh! I think by 24 weeks is when they start to become real all-out kicks? Not sure where I heard that though...

STEF - hey if you can get that many showers - take it! My first shower with my first was AWESOME - I got almost all of my big stuff it was great - those stroller/car seat combos aren't cheap. I am going to go check out garage sales for my crib and changing table - I have my own crib mattress so that's good it's from my son's toddler bed. She will only get big brother cooties and not any other cooties..LOL It really sucks that you guys are still getting snow - it's 72 today sunny so nice! KENDRA - yeah the last couple of years Easter seems to come earlier and earlier. I have to get to the dollar store and get goodies for the baskets we don't go to crazy they get tons of candy from auntie marcy and my parents so we get off the hook pretty good.
