so dawn i am glad to hear that everything went well at your appointment today! so 27 weeks already, huh? wow that is so cool. i think that me and christie are about the same.. 22 weeks almost 23! looks like we are the last of the june mommies bunch! so my doctors office called me today and told me that my amnio has been scheduled for march 13th at 830am... i am supposed to go by their office today and pick up all the instructions and stuff. ooohh i am scared. i know it's gonna hurt! ouchy momma. oh well. so how is the weather in PA today? it's 74 degrees here and sunny. but before we know it will be 105 degrees... ugh not looking forward to the long, dry, and unbelievably hot summer we have here in the valley! ugh it sucks. i swear it gets like an oven here! so it looks like my MIL is gonna be taking her darn huge a__s table and hutch finally! yay! i swear the thing is a monster and takes up a whole room in my house! so i am really thankful that she is gonna take it cuz i really need to make that room a playroom! what is heck?? crow refuses to take a nap today! sheesh.... he has been in his room just talking and talking ... what a chatterbox! okay well freddie is due home and he is gonna take me to the doctors office to pick up my amnio paperwork..... talk to you all later!

You know fefer I think we lost alot of people along the way lol .. I wondered today about jessica I think she was the one who also got the transv____als like me .. Then I started thinking about a ton of people I was like HEY where'd everyone go.. Hmm Disko I cant imagine getting an amnio done ... that never looks pleasant... good luck to you chickie let me know how it goes! It was 66 degrees here today got me thinking Gabby was so right!! I love it!! I didnt do any painting though :o( slacked off on that one - I will make up for it tomorrow .. so get this - I had ordered 2 round chairs for my moms house they look like bean bags with a frame they were 250 a pc .. and a basket thing that has drawers in it - it is SO pretty I can use it for the babies clothes in her room and its so much prettier then a dresser it looks like a decoration rather then storage lol ... But here is my issue .. If i put those two chairs in my house that i am moving into that is a little awkward cause then when you watch TV you cant lay down or if i have anyone over it will be odd... like at my moms it would have been ok cause my bed was in there too and I would not have had any company anyway they live so far out - SO I went to this warehouse place here they sell furniture and they mark down alot for damages or broken up sets so I got a part of a set .. it is a loveseat in this 'libre sage' color ... It is nice and comfy and it was 279 which wasnt bad at all .. So I was thinking of puttin that love seat and one chair in the living room ..seems to make more sense then the 2 chairs. I am debating sending the 2nd chair back or putting it in the office type room I have left where I wouldnt have anything but a sofa table in anyway. Hmm Well I am glad I at least got that part done now my daughters dad is going to pick it up for me this week SO i really want to be done painting downstairs by like wednesday or thursday. My parents are driving down tomorrow too they want want to see the place they picked for my shower - and I will go along cause my mom wants my ok haha she knows I am super picky lol Slowly girls things are coming together ... Now after I am all moved in the weather will warm up hahahaha

Oh Good a new thread, the other one was getting way too long and took forever to load. Well I am sorry to say this to those of you having girls but I am so glad I'm having a boy. Only because the little 9yr old girl that I watch was super whiny today and I was getting sooooo aggravated that I told her to shutup. I feel really bad for telling her that, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I told her mom that I told her that because I felt so guilty and her mom was like well, sometimes you just have to tell her to shutup when she gets that annoying. So some big truck just tried turning down my small a__s city block and hit like 3 parked cars. I'm glad it wasn't mine. Ok well I gotta make some dinner, later girlies.

hhahahahha gabby I tell my daughter to shut up ... Granted she is better then the average kid so I dont have that constant yappering but every so often she gets all wound up and keeps on and on lol today her breath was killer so I told her to shut up her breath makes me want to vomit LOL she just looked at me hahahahahahhahaha Im so bad sometimes then I just gave her gum and said chew that then tell me what you need to say ...tough love is all she gets from me lol! O and gabby I will never forget one time i was on the highway and this big truck went under a overpa__s and hit it!!!! there was like cement from the overpa__s flying all over.. ever since then I wince when I see a truck going under an overpa__s and keep my distance

I had a work truck drive through an intersection not too long ago with the ladder up and it knocked the stop light clean off the wire and it fell next to my car.....freaked me the hell out. My PA told me today (she used to work in a high risk office) that they might deliver me at 37 weeks if I have an amnio done to make sure his lungs are developed......and also that I can take steriods before 34 weeks to help them develop faster. She said she's going to consult with the high risk doctor and leave a note in my chart to let me know what she said. My NST went fine today, it was a little bit of a pain in the b___t because I had to hold the one monitor that measure the hb on my tummy because he kept moving it and I had no contractions lol I'd hope I didn't but they're really just checking his movement and heart rate. We have lost a lot of people.....whatever happened to lou? I started the June mommies thread way back in the day when I first found out I was preggers lol I wasn't even 4 weeks along, but I dissapeared myself for a little while just being busy.

Omg Kay its so true ... I believe I been with you since then lol you did the first thread and I was one of the people who joined then - wow sept seems SO long ago!!!!

lol I swear it seemed so hard to keep up at first because we'd add so many new people. I had a really hard time keeping track of names and stories but it seems like most of us on here check in pretty regularly now. I know I come on here a lot more than I used to to chat. I think as I got further along I started running around less and became more of a hermit that stays in the house when she's off work LOL

yeah - I've been around since the beginning too - more or less depending on how sick I was. :) 37 weeks?? Would that put you near the beginning May? Maybe it's quiet because everyone has all the second tri energy and is out doing stuff. :)

Well hopefully some of the girls come back and update us :o) I am here shopping online - I found a day bed for 13 dollars on amazon hahahhaa almost toooo good to be true ..says final clearance! and I found a mattress on craigslist for 79 but that is with a box spring however I dont think day beds take a box spring right? hmm and I found a pub set table and 2 stools in black for 99 dollars .. another awesome price everything else is 179 or more..the ones I like anyways. I am sitting here just shopping away lol like I got money LOL ... bad bad bad dawn Now I am looking at curtains - My window is like 55 inches in length but I found this awesome curtains for 14 dollars 2 panels and a valnce! but it says like 84 inches long that would be a disaster as my dog would eat them. ahh well cant win them all lol

Yay, a new thread! Thanks for the song suggestions girls, I hadn't thought of any of those ones:) Yeah, we did lose quite a few people along the way. Well, I'm sure they've got their reasons, and like someone said, maybe they're just full of that 2nd tri energy and don't have time to come on here;) Kay, a friend of mine who recently had twins ended up taking steroids (I think from 30 weeks on?) to help increase the production of surfactant to coat the babies' lungs. She ended up delivering at 36 1/2 weeks and her boys are huge and healthy:) So unfortunately, I have to go back for a second glucose test -my sugars were high on the one I did yesterday. It's a 2 hour test scheduled for Friday morning -I'm NOT looking forward to it:( Oh well, if I have gestational diabetes, I want to find out sooner rather than later. And although VERY disappointing, it's not completely unexpected since my little brother has diabetes -I figured my sugars are probably wonky. Oh, and we had our 2nd pre-natal cla__s last night -I hadn't seen everyone since our first cla__s in December, and we're all huge! The topic for the cla__s last night was 'parenting' and it was really interesting -hearing everyone's different thoughts/opinions. Now we have those cla__ses every Monday for the next 5 or 6 weeks. Good Morning! Yeah I was thinking yesterday about how many ppl we've lost along the way. I don't think I joined the june mommies thread until maybe mid october, and then I disappeared for a bit because my ms was so bad. But now I'm a lazy b___t and don't want to do or go anywhere. I'm really starting to feel tired by like 5PM everyday. I almost fell asleep at work yesterday, the kids were staring at me when I opened my eyes, haha. And yeah I felt really bad for that tractor trailer driver last night he was from Utah and his gps told him to go down my street, which isn't a really small city block, but it's smaller. He was literally stuck, he couldn't move forward or backwards cause he would hit the three cars that he alraedy hit over and over. Oh well. Wierd but I've been waking up everyday with really bad constipation pains in my belly, but I'm not constipated. I'm so confused, and it's really uncomfortable. You know what too, I really hate how people tell you their opinions sometims when you didn't ask for it. Like last night when all the commotion was going on with that truck, my neighbor asked what names we're thinking of and I said King or Frederick the third, and she was like Oh God both of those names are horrible, why would you do that to your child. I got really nasty with her, I blame it on the hormones, and I told her what the hell does she care, and to shut the hell up. But seriously what does she care, it's not gonna be her kid and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to talk to him. Her kids have the most boring generic names ever. My mom was like Gab why do you let people bother you like that, but she really p__sed me off, I was about to punch her. I guess some people just have no common courtesy.

Either they quit the forum altogether, or just stop in to peek in, but decide not to say anything.;-) They're probably all too busy too. Maybe they'll get back on in the third trimester. Gabby, I totally fell you about people and their opinions. My family and my DH's brother and his wife don't like the name we've chosen for our son: Dante Antonio. it really ticks me off because they're all like." thats a black person's name, or I don't like it..." I just b__w them off though and tell them they can name their own children when they have them, and they bettter get used to the name because we're sticking with it. And- WHO cares if a lot of black kids have the name Dante?!!! I'm not racist! Dante is an Italian name...and its unique! I agree with you Gabby...who wants to name their child "Bob" or ...whatever...thats boring. We want our kids to stand out. Lol...yeah-- I hate how ppl do that....can you tell? I just wolfed down a sausage, egg and cheese crossant from the local gas station. I'm eating strawberries and sugar right now... whats everyone else having? How are the babies doing? I'm sort of upset, because Dante hasn't been kicking me or punchign as hard as he usually does...maybe because I've been so busy that i haven't felt all those movements. Late last night I did see his punches stick out of my stomach a couple times. He still won't let daddy feel them though!
