hey robyn - glad to hear you're having a good morning! - 3 more days till my dr. appt... hubby is really excited to hear the heartbeat and i wish i was getting an u/s... anyhow, i hope this week flies by... i'm borderline excited to start packing - i know - i'm sick and need help... i just want to get rid of everything - last time we moved, i had purged so much stuff - felt great!!! b.t.w. - what were you guys fighting about? just little things? i know sometimes we get like that for no reason... weird.

Yeah little things. He was upset because I couldnt decide what I wanted to eat. He was getting frustrated because I didnt know where I was (bad bad BAD with sense of direction) and I couldnt decide what I wanted to eat so he couldnt give me directions to where we needed to go. Just frustrating because I kept changing my mind and the weather was c___ppy and the traffic was c___ppy...la de da de da. He apologised later and said he knows that not a whole lot of stuff sounds good to me so when I am indecisive he should be understanding. I hate being like that though. Oh well it will pa__s. Yeah I have a dr appointment comming up here sometime. I need to check my planner on my phone and see. I have to have an ultra sound every 4 weeks and my insurance covers it because twins is considered 'high risk' so this time I am bringing the bf and he can see them for the first time and we both get to hear the heartbeat for the first time! I am so excited! Also I was worried about maternity leave because its not paid for me, but I just found out I should be able to go through my insurance and get temp disability. I would only get 60% of my pay for the time I was out but that is sooooo better then nothing. I was scared I was going to have to go through the ha__sle of going through state! I hate the thought of that but hey I work d__nit and if I need help you better believe I am going to ask for it!

Are you having identical twins or paternal. I would guess that if I am having twins like my doctor thinks then mine will be paternal. When she looked for the heartbeat she found the one in one place, but never looked for another anywhere else. But if they were identical and shared the same sac then we would have heard both wouldn't we? Oh well, I'll find out on the 21st for sure when I go for the ultrasound. It is such a long wait it seems like. I also can't wait to feel the baby (or babies) move. I envy you all that are already feeling movement. I know it was so neat last time when I got farther along I could sit and watch the foot move from one side of my belly to the other. Can't wait for that. :-) I am finally starting to really get excited about this. I'm pretty sure at this point in the game I won't be losing it. So I am starting to get attached. :-) Yaaay, we're all having babies. :-o

I am not sure if they are identical or fraternal. From the first u/s the sacs were far apart for she said it looked like fraternal but it was too soon to tell because that early in the pregnancy the sacs can still conjoin. But I read in one of my baby books that identical twins comes from the fathers side and fraternal comes from the mothers side. I dont have any twins that run in my family but he does in his. So I should find out this next u/s. YAY might even be able to find out what they are. One of my co workers said she found out at like 15-17 weeks. So who knows. I havent felt mine move yet but they say with twins you may feel them move sooner because they are cramped in there together to its easier to feel movement. I hope they're identical that would be so neat!!!

I think identical would be neat too. But I'm kind of scared that if they tried I wouldn't be able to tell who was who. Then I would feel so bad. Kids and playing tricks on their parents. Perhaps I will just be blessed and mine would never misbehave. :-) They will play with eachother and always get along and never try to play jokes on me. Haha. Only in a perfact world.

LOL yeah, everyone asked me how I would tell them apart and I said I would paint their toe nails different colors. Then they said what if they were boys? And I said...I would paint their toe nails different colors. Like they're gonna know and have an inferiority complex because of a little polish at that age lol. Now when they are 16 and I am still painting their toe nails...ha ha ha jk.

So how bout rb's idea and we all put pics on a web site are we gonna do it? I think its a neat idea. I can have one of the girls in the office scan one for me. I think its neat to see who you are talking to!

hey there- have been busy this morning, but so far all is going okay....I thought that identical twins were not from either side mother or father, it's something that just happens, however faternal twins can be pa__sed on from the Mothers side. My Dad is a faternal twin, and he had my sister and I who are identical.......Thank God I didn't have twins!!! by the way my sister and I looked so much a like when we were little(babies) the we had Bracelets with our names on them..........but from what I hear, from my mom, is that sometimes we still got fed multiple times, and changed, when the other went without :) My sister and I are still really close, infact we have worked at the same company for 11 years, and in most cases we have worked in the same dept...(not same managers though)...now we bought a house together (after we relocated to Utah) .......now we have the decision to make on if were going to sell the house or can she afford it by herself it's a 5 bedroom/3 bath house.....and my BF is working on getting his bas____nt done so we (the kids and I) can move in with him...........so.......what do you do.....Not stress, and wait and see what happens :)

Thats neat I didnt know you were a twin. It sounds like the book was inda right though because they say you get the identical from the fathers side and youre father had you two and you two are identical. Maybe I will get lucky! LOL. I think thats cool because then its like you have a best friend for life almost. I will let you all know when I do in for my next u/s. I am starting to get excited.

I actually think it would be perfect for me if I am having twins to have paternal twins that are a boy and a girl. I also am interested in posting my pic on whatever that site was (what was that site?) but it would take me a while because I have no recent pictures of myself and I don't have a digital camera. So I need to take a traditional one and go get the film developed.
