Hello, I'm 16 weeks pregnant and still having low bloood pressure ( 90/60mmHg) .Inspite of drinking lemon/glucose water and eating protein diet, BPseems to be as it is. can anybody tell me if this cause any harm to me or my baby. In my first trimester , i used to faint and in my begninning of second trimester, i had severe headache. I still feel heaviness in head and drowsiness in my eyes.

I am now 20 weeks and have had the same problems with pa__sing out and extremely low BP. Mine has actually gone as low as 90/54. My doctor has not been concerned (except for telling me to eat smaller meals more frequently). It is actually better to have low BP than high-for the baby's sake. I guess we won't have preeclampsia! My BP has always been low. Try not to worry, just take care of yourself!

hey this sounds like me (84/50). my doctor doesn't seem to be too worried. he wants me to keep hydrated and this seems to keep the dizzyness away. i'm 33 weeks and have been dealing with this pretty much the whole pregnancy.

It is so nice to hear this, i have been 80/40 since the begining and i have been dizzy, the doctor tells me to drink tons of fluids! I am afraid ill float away, I agree that it is better to have low than high, but i have seen many births where the blood pressure drops 20 pts in labor, so where does that leave us? take care
