Hi Ladies! I've been feeling pretty good. had this wierd pain in my foot - near the arch, as though I had pulled a ligament or something. So I was limping all weekend, plus I often feel pain in my pubic region - ligament pains erg :( One of the most uncomfortable things that happens to me right now is if I'm on my feet for any real length of time my FEET HURT! It's so awful, it doesn't matter what kind of shoes I wear, my feet just hurt so bad. at work I sit a lot, so I'm fine during the weeks, it's actually usually weekends that are worse, being up and around doing errands or shopping. Kourtney, did they change your due date? i can't remember what it was, but I turn 27 weeks this thursday too! I'm due June 4th I think 28 weeks is the start of the 3rd tri. Oh RC, so many bloodtests :( I guess you're used to it though. I'll probably have one more (for a total of two) I think to check things, like the streb b or whatever. and I'm DREADING it. I'm a wimp lol. My next appointment is next week teusday, it feels like it's been forever since the last one, but after that i go to 3 week visits rather than 5 i think, so there'll be less time in between. I'm glad, cus I store up so many non urgent questions for my midwives in between appointments. Like how my tummy will go hard like a braxton hicks, but only on one side, the side the baby likes to hang out on. I think it's from his moving? can that trigger BH? Speaking of moving, baby NEVER stops! even if it seems still at times, If I sit back and place my hands on my tummy I can still feel little sleepy movements. but just, ALL the time, big kicks and turns and I don't know what. DH feels him all the time at night too, if we hug, the baby will kick and DH will feel it through his tummy! haha. I'm a bridesmaid for my best friend this weekend, we are very pleased that I still fit the Dresses which we bought before I knew I was PG. I had to trade with another bridesmaid to go up a size, but my dress is super comfy. i just hope the ceremony isn't long or my feet will be sore :( better go, work is done now, talk to ya'll later!

Oh i wanted to tell you, My friend just had her baby last week, there are 4 or 5 of us at my church expecting all this spring, she was the first to go. It was so amazing to see the little guy and know that she was just a pregnant momma a week or two ago.. he was curled up in her! to watch him looking around and interacting with people was so amazing cus it helped me corrolate that the movements I feel in me are a little person who if they were out side would be crying and lookig around and interacting with me - person to person! so neat. anyway, that's my story. it makes it harder to wait though!

Ovewrtaken-The foot thing? I had that for a couple months although it sounds as if you've got it worse than me. I would suggest going to a reflexologist for a foot work ma__sage. 3rd Tri starts at 27wks. I have never been afraid of needles. I'm sick. I actually like going to get blood tests or whatever. I think it has something to do with the fact that I felt neglected and not liked as a child so was happy when anyone paid me any attention that made me feel as though I was special. heeehehehe My baby is constantly wigglin around in there. What are they doing? Practicing their swim strokes?? Sometimes they move so fast too! crazy. I'm mostly better now. Ginger helped me through the day yesterday. Need to go eat something now though. see you girls

Hey! Did they just change the website since yesterday? This is very strange. I hope it's faster. It was really a slow website before. Also, I have't had to login to leave a comment. Well, day off today, from work anyways but of course the work at home never ends. But I plan on trying to get all my home work done first thing so I can enjoy the rest of my day reading, eating and the like. I also found out yesterday that I got a raise at work! 70c an hour. Woohoo! Not much but oh well. At least its not a pay decrease. I'm also going to be guaranteed part time hours till I have the baby which is good. As for baby stuff. Yesterday I had the weirdest pain in my tummy right in the belly b___ton area. It was like it was being pushed out severely. Very sensitive to touch and also just sitting or standing the whole area felt under extreme pain. Shooting pains sort of. Anyone had that before? I was really concerned actually cuz in all prev pgs never had that but my clinic had closed and so I just couldn't do much about it at the time but about 30 min after it started, it went away. Maybe babe was pushing really hard on that area of my tummy? I have no idea. Why is it that when we start to eat a yummy food the babes start movin round? That's cute Lucy. Do you know its a boy?

So.. yah definetly different website. I just posted and then had to login after.. and then it didn't seem to go up. maybe it takes a few minutes, forgive me if this is here twice! but i like how it looks anyways. RC-sometimes I have pulling sorta feelings up high, by my belly b___ton.. like ligaments. I'm going to ask my midwife about them. but they aren't painful really. What's painful is when baby kicks me.. in the liver? i don't know, but it hurt! not much new with me, 27 weeks today! that's third tri! for the first time in a week, both DH and i have a free night at home, so nice, cus I'm tired! but another busy weekend ahead. Looking forward to my appointment next week, maybe I'll have more to say after that. ttyl

Hi Ladies! i've been feeling really good, had my appointment yesterday, yay! I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. I found out I'm RH+ which i'm happy about, and my midwife gave me just an awesome pep talk about all my worries :P I always come in with this list of all the things that happened that month that 'could' have been bad. So we talked about how I feel about pregnancy: ineherently dangerous or inherently safe, and she addressed my concerns by reminding me that my body is strong and well able to birth a baby. If something were really wrong I'd know, cus it would get worse. pregnancy has aches and pains.. but they don't mean some horribe thing is about to occur. It was just a really great reminder to me to RELAX as I would lean toward having hypochondriac tendencys, lol. I just love my visists, and my midwvies, they are so easy going, while still being very medically able to do all the checks to make sure my baby is doing just fine. And if it is, they will not alarm me unnecesarily. She just really wanted to stress to me the importance of my thought life.. how I veiw myself and my body and the labor process, as how you are thinking at that time can profoundly effect your expereince and what goes on as you birth your baby. It was good. I'm SO pleased with the care i've been receiving and am anticipating the birth process, I'm so confident it will go well :) and then there will be baby! My work finally hired my replacement! Also very relieved about that, especially cus we will be expanding our store and doing inventory next month, which means tons of work, moving lots of stuff into the new rooms and.. I can do no lifting :{ neways, hope you're all doing well!

overtaken, im so glad u got to know everything about the experience of birth n ur feeling confident about the whole thing n ur caregivers :) thats so nice n the most important thing is to trust ur dr n midwives cz u will feel much secure when u know they will do their best to ensure that u n the baby get the best thing they can give u. nothing is new with me except more n more movements of the baby which are becoming stronger..sometimes i feel him move in 2 different places in my tummy, i a__sume its his arms n legs probably hehe. so cute :) we're going back to dubai on saturday, cant wait!! im homesick already n just wanna go home.. nothing like being at home! 25 weeks n 1 day for me, yay! take care

Hi Girls! Im almost 28 weeks, and getting very excited! I have been doing lots of reading lately and am very happy to hear that baby is breathing on its own and if it were to be born it has a very good chance of surviving. I feel my lil one move all the time, like you Lucy I feel it in several different spots and actually play the poking game with it haha. Its fun, I can watch my belly move alot more now...and now instead of just kicks i can feel actual limbs move across my belly. Its just so neat to think soon we will be holding our little ones. Im trying a different form of iron I started pill form yesterday as i found out im anemic. The liquid form gave me the worst diarrhea ever. I literally had to call in sick to work cause i couldnt be farther than a few feet from my washroom. My midwife was shocked as was the pharmacist, saying usually the opposite happens and you become constipated. We will see....other than that, having alot of trouble sleeping so I sleep whenever I can. How is everyone else? When is everyone moving up to 3rd trimester?

rcmiller - March 12

Hey girls, sorry I've been MIA. I haven't been getting emails saying there are new posts. New website probs? And besides this new website was scaring me and I didn't want to check in b/c of the frustration. Anywho...I'm actually up in the middle of the night. Can't sleep. Took an allergy pill to make me drowsy so should be kickin in soon. I just had the worst pain across my whole tummy. Didn't feel like BH but can't be sure. Getting hb too. I hate the aftertaste of the chewable I take to get rid of it. Cinnamon gum anyone? BTW, cute as lil' girl Lucy! And cool to see sadie too! My tummy is bigger than yours! 25wks. Ok, back to bed I go. zzzzzzzz

sadiejai - March 12

Oh lord...I must say im not a fan of this "new" site. It is a pain to navigate through etc. RC~ we need some pics of you!! My picture was of me at 23 weeks....I dont have any that are more recent so this one will have to do for now :) Hope ur sleep was nice and it didnt take long to get back to ZZzzZZ land lol. I struggle to sleep now as well...between moving back and forth side to side and get up to use the good ol' washroom it makes for a rough night :S
