So tell me how you are doing and how is the 2nd trimester treating you any changes yet?

Hello!!! I am doing amazing! Getting some energy back, which is nice. I also have the new symptom of stretching/growing pains in my lower abdomen. I am super excited about that though cause that means the baby is growing and that it's about to pop!!!! I am loving feeling my lower belly, and knowing that it's in there! How are you feeling? This is such a milestone! You go back to the dr tomorrow right? Do you know if they are doing an ultrasound or anything...or you get one everytime don't you? Can't wait to see how you are doing! yes, i have my appt is tomorrow, im really excited and nervous about that, and yes im supposed to get a u/s, i feel my uterus now and my belly seems bigger but it still doesnt show while im wearing clothes yet, i really cant wait for it to pop, my sickness still sucks and my energy is not back yet either but hopefully all will soon. Your new symptom sounds exciting is it too painful? im not getting that yet, i think that i have a problem im not too observant with the changes that happen in my body i always seem to feel things later that others, i guess im really clumsy. oh and congrats on your 2nd wedding anniversary i read that its later this month and on the same day as your next appt i hope that that will be a great gift for both you and your hubby.

I am super duper observant of my body since we had trouble conceiving. The stretching is not painful at all. It is just kinda achey feeling. Not crampy or stinging, just achey. Thank you for the congrats! We are super excited. I wanted to ask you for some ideas on what I should do for our anniversary!?!?! I wanted to do a 'babymoon' at this hotel near us, it comes with a couple's ma__sage, but you can only do it if you are alteast four months along. Help!! It is my year to plan, and I was wanting to do something on the saturday before, but I am at a loss of what to do! Good Luck at your appt tomorrow, I know you'll do great! ooh i love planning for things like that, just give me a day or so and i might be able to come up with some thing romantic and exciting for you, but the babymoon thing might work since by then you will be in middle of your 4th month of pregnancy so i dont see why the hotel should object.

Will I be in the middle? I guess I will be a little over three months, so that does mean I am in my fourth month...I'll maybe call my doctor and see what they think, maybe call the hotel cause how are they gonna know how far along I am anyway? I bet they require a doctor's note....yikes! Yeah, please let me know if you have any ideas!!

it can become so difficult and confusing at times when calculating how far along you are, i thought that 13 weeks means that i am currently in the first week of the fourth month isnt that right?

i'll make sure to ask my doc tomorrow about that.

ok now i had this idea pop in my head just now and i couldnt wait till tomorrow to tell you about it even though its 2.30 am here and we're getting ready sleep its about your 2nd anniversary plans, ok so i actually did this for my hubby on his birthday a couple of years ago and it was just amazing ofcourse you can adjust and alter it depending on your budget and prefrences and so on. ok here we go you can first go to an early dinner at your favourit restaurant or at a nice hotel where in both cases you would have booked a room for the night, you have to go to the room in advance and hide several small gifts for him to find and you can tease him till he finds them all, because you are both expecting a precious baby i thought that the gifts should be mostly about the baby and should be gifts that you can both share like for example a children's book that he can read to the baby, a T-shirt where you can print on it something like " Daddy to Be" or " I'm a Daddy" or "Proud to be a Dad" something like that, you can also add a cute baby frame where you can later put your first baby pic in, the point is adding as many small gifts as you can so that he will get surprised each second, then if you'll do the room thing you can take with you some s_xy lingerie if you are up for s_x that is, or you can do all of this at your house it all depends on your budget. i might have more tom but i hope that this gave you some ideas that you can work with.

Malak, you are a genius!!! I'm trying to figure out how we can make that work cause we do have the two dogs....I'm thinking while he is at work Saturday I can go get his little sister to house sit and prepare a nice hotel room. I'm just wondering where we can go...I'll have to think about that. He gets off work at like 1pm, so we could get all cleaned up, head to dinner, then I could surprise him with the hotel thing! I think you just might have the best idea! Now I have to find a hotel....the thing is is that there is a Nascar (stupid speeding car race) that same weekend, and people come from all over the country to see it. So finding a hotel room might be tricky, but I'll see what I can do! Good Luck at the Dr today!! Let me know how it goes!! P.S. I do think that if you are in your 13th week you are in your fourth month cause you have already completed three.

im glad that you liked the idea i hope that you can make it work, and about the dogs if its just one night maybe you can just leave them enough food and drink for the night and you'll be there early next morning so they should be ok, we used leave our dog for a night alone and he was always fine. this is so exciting i hope that both of you will have a great time. i'll surely write when i get back from the doc, hope its good news to share.

I have looked everywhere for hotels, but the only ones that I can find are going to be like $350 for one night!!!! That is outrageous! I'm still gonna keep my eye open though, cause that is such a good idea! Hope the dr went well, let me know all the details!!!

hi courtney, the doc's appt went great yesterday, we saw the baby and he/she was moving kind of like swimming more, we heard the heart beat and the doc kept showing us the brain, legs, fingers and so on it was really comforting, but no gender yet, he said we will get to find that out next time which is after 3 weeks, it will be on the 7th of October so i'll have to wait till then. the hotel prices ARE very expensive is it because of the car thing? where do live exactly, i know you mentioned Kansas, but where maybe i can search some hotels that are close buy for you and help you out.

I'm glad to hear your appt went well, that is very exciting!! Did they do an over the belly ultrasound, or the other way? I go back for a monthly on the 30th, but then not again till prolly Halloween. That is when we should find out though. I will be in my 20th week then, so that is perfect! I'd rather wait a couple weeks then be told it's a girl, then have it be born a boy!!! I live in the Kansas City KS area, but I am looking around the Overland Park area. That's where all the nice restaurants are. I wish we got to see the baby every time!!! You will get to see it twice in between me seeing it for my second time!!! I am happy for you guys though. Does your hubby get to go with you?
