Pregnancy Info HOME

I'm working at home today its 3:30pm but I'm starting to get a major crick in my neck.. I hate sitting at the computer all day like this.. :(

I can't wait until 3:30!!!! Even though I have to go to a Parent Teacher Meeting tonight. I am just curious... How long does everyone get for Maternity Leave???

What is wrong NM, are you getting sick, or is it just the pregnancy making you not feel well?

I'm still a student so I don't count, but I can tell you that maternity leave is about 2 and 1/2 months in France for the first child, after you get more.

I believe I get 3 months and then after that I can do another program called the bonding leave or something like that which is another 6 weeks!

WOW, that is not long at all!! I get a year, and I can't wait.

Jennifer, you get a YEAR maternity leave? OMG, me, the fiance and kids are packing up and moving!! Are there Home Depots there? I am having him transfer, haa haa.

Actually they are just building a brand new home depot in my city.

Haa haa, I should tell him he needs to transfer and then I will see what I can do about transfering!! haa haa. I am sure they still need a store manager there! :0)

Jennifer, I am not sure. I just feel down and achy and I just want to go home and crawl in bed. We get 12 wks here for maternity leave.

I am sure they do, they are just clearing the place where they are building it, so it would probably jsut be ready to open when you are due, oh, and there are no medical expenses here either. I don't know if you have to pay or not there???

Thats is Jennifer, I am EXTREMELY jealous of you. . ..I was in heating up my frozen pizza for breakfast, haa haa, and a co worker of mine just happen to ask what our leave time was like, I told him what it was and then he proceeded to tell me that in Canada they get a year, which is funny because I had just found that out from you, haa haa. And you get it at your full pay, that is SSSSOO NICE!! I guess he is Canadian and his brother and sister in law still love over there and she just had her second!! at my company we probably have like 75% Canadians! See here in CA we only get a % of our pay :0(, and yes we have medical, but allot of companies you have to pay out of your paycheck per month, the nice thing about my company is that they pick it all up 100% so I have to pay co pays and deductibles, but not a certain amount each month out of my check.

Yeah, NM, especially being pg, when feeling like that you should just kick your feet up and rest. Hope you feel better!!

My boss is in meetings till 12. I won't be able to leave till then:( Are we allowed to use aspercreme, icy hot or any other pain reliever?

No Beth, it is not at full pay, it is paid, but we only get a percentage as well. I don't care though, I am just happy to be off for a year. My husband has a good job, so we are not too worried about the money, my pay is just extra income anyway.
