take care of yourself NM, hope you feel better soon!

I would love to be able to have a nap right now, I have to go home, have supper, and then go to my son's school for Parent Teacher Meeting, then, do homework (I think I will get hubby to do this), and get him to bed, then I get to relax at about 8:00. I am really tired this week, and I don't know why??

NM - April 13

I am finally home. I hate traffic...now, that I am home, I can not sleep.

nm - April 13

Thanks, ekay. That is great you are feeling the baby. I am going to go and try to get some sleep. Talk to everyone tomorrow.

Damn I just had a long post written now it's gone. Poor NM, don't you just hate days like that?! Congrats on the halfway mark Beth! Citrouille, I checked out your pictures, you and your bump are gorgeous! Hi lucky, jennifer and ekay! I think that's everyone :-) My baby tends to move only on the right side, and I always feel him kick right down low, just abouve my pelvis. ekay, we've pretty much got same dates, i can't believe you've nearly grown to your belly b___ton! I'm jealous, i've still got a way to go. And with your cat, i'm guessing he's male although females sometimes spray too, is he des_xed? Tom cats tend to get nasty habits like that. Des_xing may help. Nearly 17 pounds, omgoodness, that's a big cat! Maybe he's developed your pregnancy cravings :-) As to what does everyone do, I was trained as a veterinary nurse(thus the cat info, sorry, couldn't help myself!) but it's a bit hazardous when you're pregnant, anaesthetic gases, germs, parasites from animals etc, so i worked as a receptionist at front desk of Hospital, but now I'm a stay at home mum to be. Well, hope everyones having a better day today, keep your chins up, see you tomorrow! :-)

Yes Kara he is des_xed and he is the laziest, biggest baby of a cat I have ever seen. I call my cats my furry babies, because they are like my kids. Anyways, he did have a bladder infection. Anywho, I was doing my nightly ritual last night and felt the baby move quite a bit. I drank some OJ before hand and it seemed to work. It's amazing what an extra 20 lbs will do though, because I have to lie very still and can only feels little "rolls" and thumps. Good Morning everyone!

Good morning everyone. I am enjoying being home. I have a dr appt today. I can't wait to hear the heart beat. I love cats, I have one cat and two dogs and a lizard.

Good morning everyone, I am half asleep sitting at my desk and have the worst migrane ever :0(. . ..I had the longest battle with my 9 year old step daughter last night over a gla__s of milk and after calling her father at work he was on my side for the longest time and then finally said to put chocolate in the d__n milk . . .I threw the cup in the sink (either way chocolate or no chocolate it was still giving in) and told her to go to bed, it was 9:30 and I was drained. aaarrggghhh sorry to vent but I was in tears last night over a stupid glas sof milk. . .these kids get away with murder, as I have vented to Ekay, Lucky and Cit about before, haa haa. They HATE vegetables and anything I cook (I am NOT a bad cook at all they just like to complain). Well last night I was making them what they said at the store they all liked it was mini tacos and taquitos and stuff, and because it was all greasy food I gave them all a half a gla__s of milk (OMG half a gla__s,lol) well first off Angie, the daughter, complained about the tacos, OF COURSE, even though she wanted them at the store, so I made her eat taquitos. Then of course she threw a fit about drinking milk, I told her it was half a gla__s and it was good for her AND, this little girl is stick skinny, and ALWAYS has bags under her eyes even though she is the first to fall asleep, it is because she does not eat right, I explained this to her and she still just stared at me. . .I finally called her dad because I was having a d__n nervous break down and in two seconds flat she turned on the SOBS. . .aarrggghhhh WHAT DO I DO?

Just added a new picture to my piczo. . .its of the three kids, it was taken this weekend at train park http://frogluvr.piczo.com

Jennifer - April 14

Oh Beth, it sounds like you had a horrible night, it doesn't help being pregnant, and getting frustrated, I can see why you would cry, I do it all the time, just get so angry, and it is over the smallest thing but it just makes you cry!! Looks like you have your hands full with 3 kids!!! cute picture.

Beth - April 14

Yes it was an absolutely horrible night :0(, again sorry to rant and rave on here about it. The kids' mom even called about 9:15 and I was so drained from crying she asked if I was getting sick, I felt like telling her about the stunt her daughter pulled, but then my fiance would know I pulled her into it too, even though she called our house, I would NEVER call her and bring her into it.

Jennifer - April 14

That is aweful, and it doens't help if your husband isn't on your side. Not to pry, ut do the kids go to their mothers house often??

Jennifer - April 14

That is horrible, I can see why you would be so frustrated. And of course they are going to think that their mother is the best thing, if she barely ever sees them, then she is not going to be the one to disapline them, and probably lets them do whatever they want. My friends daughter does the same thing, she said that she wanted to go and live with her dad, becasue he is more fun. Well yeah of course he is going to do something fun with her, when he only has her maybe one weekend a month!!!! Kids just dont' understand.

Beth - April 14

Ekay I firmly agree with you on the consitancy thing and the funny thing is is that I used that exact word while talking to my step daughter last night, I told her I know in the past allot of things have heppened but in this house there will be consistancy, that means school EVERY day (well 5 days a week, haa haa) homework after school, bed times, vegetables (we gave them all 3 pieces of vegetables the other night ONLY 3 with dinner and they complained). I told her they had it easy, I told her to wait until the baby is born, that they got away with ALLOT more then the baby will ever get away with that I DO NO give in and there are rules and as long as I am the provider they eat what I put on the table (and it is not grose stuff trust me). The thing is is that your right they NEVER had any stability or consistancy in their life before and my fiance has admitted to it and wants to change it, he has promised to try and to help, but in some things it is still not working. Like the other day we gave them two pieces of brocoli and one carrot with the turkey and gravy I made, they threw a fit and he made them eat at least the two pieces of brocoli, that was a start I guess. . . :0(

Hi everyone, Oh Beth I'm so sorry! Man, sounds like you are really having a rough time with this kid. This might sound mean, but it is what my parents did when my sister and I would be picky about food and refuse to eat (unless it was something we honestly really hated). They said, ok you don't want to eat, then don't and go to bed now. They didn't offer anything else than what had been prepared (again unless they knew we really hated it). If I or my sister came back saying we were hungry, we were told that our dinner was waiting in the fridge (nothing new, same dinner). Man, it was tough love.. but it WORKED!! Whenever I took care of kids who played that trick, I used the same tactic and it works. That's what I would recommend!

Beth - April 14

Haa haa Citrouille, thats funny because thats the same thing my mom did thats why I believe in it. But see after she complained about one of the things for dinner she kept on eating more taquitos so that she wuold be "full" and not have to drink her milk. But you are right instead of making them sit there and eating I will just tell them fine get up and go to bed like I was raised. I am NOT making dinner tonight they can have hot pockets, I am not even in the mood to see them and with this migraine it it worse but I will try it with tomorrow nights dinner. Oh and I have told them the same thing, I am not feeding them things that are horribly grose, nor do I even cook things that I know they hate THAT much, so to bed it will be!!
