I really don't know what is good for a heartbeat, I am just guessing at the 140-160???? I can't really remember exactly with my first pregnancy, but I think it was always in the 140's

My baby's heartbeat is anywhere from 138 (hopefully just resting) to 150. Mostly 142-148 though. I have never gotten the dark line on my belly. And my boy is 4 and my girl is 16 months.

Nope no line yet. . .but this morning before I got in the shower I think I saw some faint stretch marks coming :0(

Beth, I have been examining my stomach everyday for stretch marks, I got a few with my son, so I keep checking them to see if they are getting bigger, I just keep piling the Cocca B___ter on my belling and keeping my fingers crossed!!! Did you get any new pictures done today???

actually the girl here at work that brings in her digital everyday is not here today of all days :0(, I am bummed because I actaully did not come to work looking tore up today and I am really poppoing out in this maternity shirt!! I will for sure have her take some Monday!!

Well do you hav a camera phone or know someone with one, even those work, I have taken pics before and sent them to my e-mail and saved them from there! :0)

Hi everyone! Wow everyone is chattin so much that I couldn't read everything before saying hi first :)
My blood test went well but of course I won't have the results for a while.. Did make me feel icky.
I was feeling nervous about not feeling pregnant anymore ie less symptoms so I called up my gyn who snuck me in so I could hear my little one's heartbeat! And it was thudding away and sounded great.. what a relief. Do you think I'll ever be able to relax? Having a miscarriage before this has really made me a nervous preggo!
I have to go and read how your u/s went!!!
Oh and I lived near Toronto.

Beth-I 'm glad to hear your appointment went well and I really hope you do get your u/s!! About your s_x drive, mine is virtual zeo as well.. My poor husband has to convince me every time... I think it is normal although of course it is difficult for the men!
Jennifer, love the name Alyssa! I have it in my list for girl names but I think my husband isn't keen on it.. About the dark line, I have a faint line, linea nigra I think is what it is called

Ekay, I love celtic names too. We trying to choose Irish/Celtic names because they tend to work in both French and English; I live Finneghan Patrick! And saylee is adorable.
I think a baby's heartbeat is normal between 120 and 190.
The names we've chosen are Enya Joy for a girl and Tristan Henri for a boy! (Joy is my grandmother's middle name, she pa__sed away but she was my most favorite person in the world) and Henri is my husband's grandfather's name.. he is still alive, touch wood and thank god, a lovely man..

I'm back, It's a girl!!! :o)) I'm so happy, I started crying while they were doing the u/s..... Everything was fine, and all of the measurements went right with my Due Date, so all is well.... She was moving a lot (I drank OJ before I went in) It looked like she was jabbin me on purpose with her little arms(lol). I just feel so relieved to know that all is well.... Can't wait for you all to get your u/s's..... got some work to do-BRB!

I am getting my afp test done Monday, I have until Wed when I am 20 weeks to do it and yesterday at the dr the dr said they had filled out the paperwork but I had not gone and gotten it, my fiance asked why and I told him because regardless what it said nothing could be changed and he said he rather me have it because God forbid anything was wrong we could be prepared.
