Hi Ladies, i hope you find me here and im not alone for ages!! Im due Oct 5th and its so far so good. Im still scared for my big scan which was supposed to be today but due to the holidays theyve moved it to next week (not sure if im going in Monday or Wednesday, and of corse having lost my 1st baby at exactly this stage last time im pretty terrified. But holding it together - just! Still having sickness, starting having nightmares now which i could definitly do without! Also is anyone else really emotional all the time? Im just crying at the slightest thing. Do these kind of symptoms stay with us through the whole 9mths do you think? Im hoping my sickness dies a death very soon - like today would be good lol. So anyway october ladies - lets have some updates!! x x x

Congrats to all of you moving over to the 2nd tri bored! Crazy in the beginning when you feel like you would never get there... now i'm almost 21 weeks and wondering where the time has gone! Congrats to you all!

missp - i just realized we have the same due date :) my all day sickness has subsided and is now an occasional sickness. sometimes i get really bad gas bubbles that feel like little knives . .anyone else get these? a couple of weeks ago i started getting terrible night sweats where i wake up drenched . .. i;ll have to tell my dr. when i go back on the 10th. i've heard the heartbeat through the doppler already 175bmp at 10 weeks. won't get an ultrasound for another 2 months. other than that .. .things are going good!

hi miss p..sorry i was going to start a thred over here but got lazy with the easter celebrations and was too busy eating chocolate :-) I am due october 3rd...thank godness we're out of 1st trimester. Woo hoo! congrats girls. Everyone starting to feel rather fat yet?!!!

p.s...wow laupack no ultrasound yet....are you dying to see your little one??

pps....yes miss P you are more emotional than usual the whole 9 months! but it is true what they say MOST girls will start to feel fabulous during 2nd trimester and i found with my last pregnancy i loved it from now til about 8 months and then i started feeling like a whale and getting scared of giving birth!

hoey - we had one ultrasound at 7 weeks where we got to hear the heart beat and a bean :) the 2nd u/s isn't until 19 or 20 weeks.

Hi ladies! I am cheating a bit because I am only 10w4d but this is more fun! ha! I am starting to feel MUCH better but goodness I had a run for my money on Friday...I couldn't keep a thing down the entire day (called my mom bawling- there's the hormones MissP-asking to have my son picked up because DH was at work and I couldn't be a good mom to him at the time) I know it had to do with the bronchitis i had but gosh I was even throwing up water! I only dry heeved today so that is great! And I didn't even do that yesterday! I still have 2 more weeks until my next visit-u/s and I am going nuts!!! My doc is in Paris starting this weekend through April 7th so I had to wait 5.5weeks to go back in...It's driving me mad! ha! I just want to get to 12 weeks and see that little babe on the monitor again! MissP I just can't help be get nervous hearing your story about your last pregnancy (sorry had to go through that and PLEASE update us right away on your appt) Gosh ladies I am just so excited to be in the 2nd tri...it is the golden period...I agree with you Joey...i LOVED it. I just love being PG even being sick...I just hate worrying! I already have a little bump...I can't believe this time I am popping so much sooner...I didn't show until 22weeks with my first pregnancy!!! Even though it is just bowel distention it is a lot bigger! :) Have a great day ladies...sorry I am so chatty!

Hi girls! Miss P did you have your ultrasound yet? I go for mine on thursday and am now really scared. My SIL was due the same time as we were and just went for her 12 week and found out the baby died about two weeks ago. She had to have a D&C over Easter weekend. Poor thing. How is everyone else?

Oh gosh Saird, that is awful! I don't know why this time around I am so flipping freaked out. Probably because I know more and I have heard all of these awful stories. Had she had an ultrasound before that? Had she heard the heartbeat yet. Oh I just don't know how I am going to wait another 2 weeks until my appt! ha!

so sorry to hear about your SIL Saird....the poor thing. Having to go through a D&C would be heartbreaking...and now you must feel awkward talking about your pregnancy. I hope she falls again soon. So, as she'd lost the baby 2 weeks before, did she not have any spotting/bleeding?

Hi everyone, made it to 13 weeks today. Saird Im so sorry about your sil. I think that that is all of our worst nightmares. We have to stay positive though. Im freaking out too just because even though my doc said everything was great it is really eating at me that she said my uterus is the size of a lemon at 12 wks when everything I read says it should be the size of a large grapefruit. Maybe she thinks lemons are bigger than they are? I didnt even start worrying about it until like 3 days after the appt so I know its just nerves. So just to ask all of your opinions, how big is your belly right now? I have this little bump in my lower abdomen but I keep seeing pics of these girls saying they are 13 weeks and they are the size I was at about 25 wks with my last baby. Are they sticking out their bellies or what????

Congrats on the 12 weeks Patience! That's interesting about the lemon! I feel like I am showing much earlier with this one!!! I would say I definitely don't look 25 weeks PG though! ha! People on the street wouldn't be able to tell.

Hey girls, My SIL didn't feel pregnant at all. I thought maybe she was just one of the lucky ones. No, I guess she had no bleeding or anything, and she had an appt with her doc the day before the ultrasound and she said she couldn't hear a heartbeat, but that could be normal (they always found one with me at 12 wks though, so I thought it odd) but just at the ultrasound they thought the baby died 2 wks before. It is odd now, I haven't seen her yet, But I feel so bad about it. My tummy is definitely bigger, but this is #3 so I didn't expect it to take long! Patience I wouldn't worry too much if the doc said it all looks good. We all probably read too much!!

Gosh Saird that is still just so sad! Poor thing!
