WOOT! 13 weeks tomorrow!! Yay, second trimester!!! *happy dance* any one felt the LO move yet?

HI everyone. I am 12w2d. I am Due Oct 16th. This is my first. I have been lurking on this site for a while but I post rarely. I am mostly over the nausea but I have horrible headaches :( Has anyone been having dreams about the gender of their baby? I have alot that I am having a girl :)

Hi becky yes ive been feeling little fluttery feelings for the past few days, i am so excited that its the baby! Il find out next wek at the scan if everythings ok. Im 14wks today girls and am feeling great that ive got this far. Hi Bella - no i havent had any dreams about the baby yet, which is weird as last time i had plenty and then miscarried. I thought i would have more this time because everythings fine but no - just weird dreams about other things. Ive had some nightmares also. How is everyone?

Hi everyone, glad you're all doing great and growing. My worries about not feeling pregnant because my belly sometimes feel so soft were hightened on fri when i went for my doc's appt. They could not find the heartbeat no matter how much they tried, i just about froze on the table. Finally i had to go get an unplanned u/s to see if all is ok with the baby and lo and behold, there's the baby wiggling it's fingers and toes away with no care in the world. I just about busted out crying and felt like screaming at it to stop playing games with me. Anyways i'm glad tell you all the baby's fine and i get to find out the s_x on may 2. Can't wait!!

What a scare! Glad you got to see the LO. Not sure when we'll be finding out the s_x, we have an appointment to re-try the NT scan (first one baby wasn't cooperating) in the morning...not sure if we get another in between now and 20 weeks! But I have an apt with the doc so I will ask then. I have only had one baby dream this pregnancy, and it was a girl. But, everyone keeps insisting that it's going to be a girl, so that could just be because it's what I was thinking about before bed. I did have a dream a long time ago before my second pregnancy that I had a girl. I guess we will see.

Good morning ladies! Some good chatter this weekend! Sorry to hear abou the scare chiffy! That is an awful feeling I bet. During my last pregnancy at 13 week my doc said "we are just going to do an u/s because it can be so hard to find the heartbeat sometimes and that just scares the heck out of both of us!" I was so thankful. He told me at 8weeks with this one I will get another one at 12 weeks to make sure all is well (which is TOMORROW!!!) I can't wait for my appt! I can't remember who asked but I swear I am feeling this little bean...I feel dumb saying it but seriously I have felt this little tap tap on the inside for over a week now. It's not all the time but it sure feels like something!!! Ok ladies who is all finding out the s_x of their babe?

Hi girls, well i think i might be the first to find out the s_x - im going for an us later this wk when my dh is back and they said theres a possibility they can tell us!! So im excited for that. Im 15wks at the wkend so lets wait and see. I so want to know what it is so we can pick names and plan things you know! I am to impatient to wait more time than i have to! Also i am so huge ladies i feel like i am so fat now despite loosing weight. my bump seems to have def popped out permanently now and isnt tiny in the mornings any more! Im still feeling nausea too anyone lost it yet? x x

That is exciting for you guys MissP, Not only that you get to find out the s_x...but that DH will be home too!!!!! I am feeling better although I can't kick this cold. I go in today for my ultrasound- I can't WAIT!!! Oh and I suppose I could answer my own question...We are not finding out the s_x of the babe again this time. I won't be surprised if I am the only one...I was the only last time amoung 12 girls!

Hey guys, Im kind of worried right now. Im thinking about calling the doc but not sure. Im 15 weeks today and I have been weighing myself once a week. I was putting on weight like crazy and then I weighed myself this morning and had lost 9 lbs in a week. I know that the weight last week was right because it had been gradually climbing there. Should I be worried? I dont have a doc appt until next week. What do you all think? By the way Miss P, I hope everything goes well with the ultrasound.

Patience I would call. Have you been sick just in the last week? Unless you have been throwing up like crazy I would call to get some peace of mind.

Well, I called the advice nurse and got an idiot to talk to so if it is still dropping tomorrow I will leave my midwife a voice mail and see what she says. This triage nurse kept saying "Your BMI is still fine so its no big deal" I know Im not underweight! But since when is it normal to lose 10 lbs in a week unless you arent eating....and believe me Ive been eating! I wanted to slap her!

Patience that is SOOOO annoying. Who gives a rat about your d__n BMI, we are talking about the fact that you have lost 10lbs in a WEEK. That is crazy! I lost 10lbs in 8 weeks! 1 week is a very quick amount of time to have that happen. I actually go really annoyed with my nurse on Friday when I fainted and she said it was totally normal. My doc was in Paris and when I got light headed with my ds he said- light headed is totally normal but losing consciousness is NOT so please let us know as SOON as that happens. Well miss little "I am looking at the book and it looks normal" didn't even consult a doc. I am going today so I felt ok about it but still. I would agree...leave a message for the midwife! I am sure all is just fine...but it is nice to have someone tell you! Eek only 1 hour until my appt...gosh I live for these! ha

I'm back from my appt!! We have a healthy little bub in there...and boy oh boy was he or she active! All is well! The man isn't making me go back until 20 weeks...that is a LONG time!! 8 whole weeks! I am going to die not seeing him or my nurse! ha!

hey girls...sorry I've been a little out of touch. I've been get_tng a few migraines lately...very painful and annoying. I am 15 weeks now so really hoping the fade very soon. Miss P...did you have your scan? Find out the s_x? So excited to hear!! Patience....what an idiot- that nurse- of course that seems a little strange....although....I would probably be thrilled to lose 10lbs!!! only kidding, I hope it's all ok...I'm sure you're fine :-) My weight during pregnancy seems to fluctuate a lot too. ejmskan...i didn't find out the s_x with my first either, we haven't decided if we want to know with this one or not yet but think we are less patient this time! Although, the surprise was also so nice....hmm...

Hey Joey I keep getting headaches too and it's driving me crazy cause it makes the nauseau that much worse. Patience I can't believe you lost that much weight in a week, do let us know when you figure out why. I had an appt last week and I've gained about 4 lbs since I got pregnant. I am 14 weeks now. I'm hoping to not gain that much, with my last I gained way too much and it wasn't fun later on to try and lose it. Is anyone else having a tough time to try and find things to wear? My regular clothes are too small, mat clothes are too big, honestly, this is the annoying stage.

Hi girls, glad to hear your all doing well. Patience let us know whats happening with the weight loss as that does seem weird. Have you noticed it come off somewhere on your body? well looks like my scan is being delayed until early next week because my dh still hasnt returned. Theres political problems where he is and theyve stopped all transport out of the country for a few days. Cant believe it as today is our 1st wedding anniversary and ive spent it all alone. Hes stuck in another country altho hes so upset not to be here, and my family are on the other side of the world. Seems to be a bad day for various reasons! I had a sad morning but comforted myself with little bean moving around again. I swear yesterday i nearly fainted, i had this really strange feeling inside and i think it was the baby changing position. I can really feel he or she now, every day. Its such weird feeling!! So at least i know he or she is ok and thats making me feel somewhat better. Ejmeskan congrats on your healthy bean!! x x
