umm i sleep well, well i dont know because i get up like two or three times a night to go to the bathroom and to get a nice tall gla__s of chocolate milk with some roasted honey peanuts (wow I really hate nuts) but with the cold chocolate milk they are not that bad. I go to bed kind of late about 11 or so, and my son wakes me up around 8 or 9ish.

For me the "wonderful s_x drive" NEVER kicked it...my poor husband. It is odd how I would just rather go with out. munchmom- I have been loving chocolate milk since the beginning of my second trimester. I love it so much that just reading about you drinking it is making me want some. I think that when I am done writing this...I am going to go into the kitchen and get me some, YUMMY!

LOL dice I went and got a gla__s when I got done typing my last message. hubby came in the kitchen and looked at me like OMG are seriously drinking chocolate milk again. I have been drinking it since the start of my second trimester also, at least 3 to 4 gla__ses. I am going to try to get away from it, another mom on another board said that too much milk was not good for you. I thought that it was fine, you know it would help with the little ones bones. She might not know what she is talking about. I might ask my doc when we go in in 2 weeks.

Hey, I am 30 weeks. I would say I have had bouts of really crazy s_x drive and then nothing. I had it kick in in my 2nd trimester for about a month. I think it is just we can't do as much as my tummy sticks out. My hubby doesn't really complain and if he wanted to he could always try. I am usually receptive. I guess he just doesn't know that I feel awkward now. Though he said the cutest thing this morning. He thinks I am very s_xy and beautiful pregnant, but this morning he told me I still have an hour gla__s figure. I have started to stick out front so from the back I have an hour gla__s figure. Maybe that is why he thinks I am so pretty. I have been feeling the Peanut move so much! I was a size 6 or 7 before I got pregnant. I am also 5' 3" and I have only gained 12 pounds so far. I haven't changed a lot of my eating habits. Especially now, as if I even eat what I used to I feel like I can't breathe. It is such a weird feeling. Well as I am typing this child has been moving for a good hour and a half. And I have noticed that some of the movements I don't feel as I have gotten used to them but I guess it happens often. Sometimes I think Peanut is still and DH will put his hand on me and comment how he can feel Peanut move like crazy. I tend to feel mostly when peanut moves to one side as it gets really heavy, lots of pressure. Mostly I hfeel kicking when it hurts. I am already learning that mom ability to tune out their child. I really only notice him if I am paying attention and if Peanut causes pain. Great eh? As for the milk I don't know what it with that. I thought milk was good for you. I would ask the doctor and see what they say. Well I am hungry and need to eat something. Hope you are all doing well! Enjoy this while it lasts. I have to admit I sometimes can't wait for this to be over but I know I am going to miss the intamcy it has created between my dh and me and the precious moments between baby and me.

I think milk is good for you, gosh there are so many restrictions already! So I have to do that diabetes test in 2 weeks, the one where you drink that sugary orange soda, blech OMG Sbea- so jealous I wish I've only gained 12lbs, I'm at about 22lbs! but I really do eat healthy and exercise. Oh well guess its just different for everyone, I was talking to a girl the other day who told me she gained 110lbs with her son!

DiGiacomo - July 22

Yea, I've gained around 20 lbs (give or take) and I'm almost 26 weeks. I gained only 2 lbs for the first 4 months and everything else in the last 2 months. Yikes! And I, too, eat healthy and exercise fairly regularly, so I don't really know what's going on. As well, I'm carrying the baby high (I have a long torso), so I don't really look my 6.5 months yet. My sister looked like she was ready to give birth at 6 months! I just did my gestational diabetes test Friday and everything seems to be fine, so that's a relief. We started setting up the baby room Monday, so that was really exciting. Anyone else start on that yet? My s_x drive is back (from the first trimester), but I'm SO tired by the time I get home from work, I have no energy. My poor husband is SO understanding. I feel bad for him. Talk to you all soon! Blessings.

lol And I just had to have a gla__s of chocolate milk, thanks to your fabulous idea. It's SO good!

Y'all are so making me want chocolate milk! Love 2% but I think I'm gonna switch to skim to cut calories a bit. We're slowly working on the nursery, we have the dresser and crib set up, the bedding and mattress are on the way. Hubby is painting it when we get the bedding.

umm humm the chocolate milk is good hun? I love it, i am not thinking about what that lady said. I just took it as another person giving bad advice that I did not ask for. I am 26 weeks and 1 day today and I go in for my glucose test on the 3rd, :( that is going to suck really bad. I hate that test, but i know it is required. We are kind of crowded in our 2 bedroom so we are looking for something bigger so I am praying that we can find something bigger by at least the end of Sept. so we can get moved and somewhat settled in before Noelle gets here. But we do have her pack n play/basinett and swing up in our room for the time being. I still dont know how much I have gained so far, I will be asking when I go in on the 3rd though.

Well I got some not so great news today. I had ultrasound #15 and for the most part my past ultrasounds have measured my cervix relatively the same, just some variation here and there. Well last week my cervix was measuring 2.4 and this week it measured 1.2! That's the most it has ever shortened. I am so scared. I think it might be funneling too. The perinatologist wouldn't even come in and explain the results to me, he just told the tech to have me come back in a week. Well if my cervix shortens another 1.2cm by next week I will have no cervix left!! I called my ob and am waiting on them to call me back, but it's definitely bedrest for me to say the least. I will be 26 weeks tomorrow. I really hope my little guy stays in here until at least 32 weeks. It's really crazy that I may have my baby so much sooner than I expected. I might even have him before my baby shower!!! That's not scheduled until Sept 20th.

munchmom04 - July 23

les~~ oh wow, that sucks that he would not even explain the results to you. I would not have left until he came in and told me something. techs dont know what to tell us, some of these doc suck really bad. but i know he was probably in a hurry or did not want to worry you that mcuh, but by him not saying anything at all it makes you worry more. Yeah I would just stay off of your feet as much as possible. Good luck and keep us posted.

Dicegirl15 - July 23

les- I really hope everything goes well for you and your little one. That is quite scary...bed rest sounds like a good option. I pray that your little guy stays put, nice and safe in there, for at least 6 more weeks as you had said. Good luck!!!

Morning ladies, up kind of early. getting ready to go and do some shopping. this is the fun part when the kids get older. my son had two birthday parties to attend tomorrow and i dont have any idea what we are going to get the kids. so here we are on bill day about to go to the bank and pay bills then hit the mall. i hope we find something cute for each one of the kids. I just hope he does not think that we are going to buy something for him just becuase we are there.

les706 - July 25

Well I saw my OB yesterday. In addition to my cervix being short (1.2cm) I am also 1cm dilated. So I am officially on modified bedrest. I am going stir crazy and it's only been 3 days. I'm also scared that this baby is going to come too early. The hardest part is there is nothing I can do to stop it. I just have to hope bedrest is the answer. You ladies are so lucky to have normal pregnancies. I hope you are able to enjoy being pregnant, because I sure can't. I know one thing though, this is my first and last pregnancy.

munchmom04 - July 25

les~~ Omg, i am so sorry that you are having a hard time with your pregancy. I hope that bed rest really helps you out and your little one stays put unill it is time. I understand how you fell about the bed rest I was on bed rest for 3 months when i was pregnant with my son. It really does suck. All i can tell you is get some good movies, books and anything else that you enjoy. I hope things work out for you. I will be praying for you. :-)

sbea - July 26

Les- I am praying for you. That must be so difficult to deal with. Even though bed rest could be hard, it will be worth it in the end.
